  1. It's kinda depressing. A cohort in my grad school is from McAllen or Edinburgh. Mexican-American. Tells me with glee about how happy he is about the busing program to LA, NY, etc. Can both-sides with the best of them.
  2. Kinda surprised... I found most of the new episodes to be pretty underwhelming.
  3. That’s true. We all easily assume too much and often not with positive intent. With that said, it’s clear what the progressive leaning posters here do care about. How about you?
  4. Yep, back in grad school (but not MBA) and this was a recentl topic of discussion/study! But sure seems like organizations ssssssssuck at applying this framework though.
  5. I think descriptions such as "pride" is more of an output of an work environment that's in balance of treating employees well, where there's some sense of autonomy, growth, and purpose and still operating efficiently and objective-driven. Seems rare for our larger organizations these days to be in this balance. My mind isn't set on this, but I'm starting to wonder if this equilibrium is even possible once a company exceeds a certain scale.
  6. Wasn't she featured on John Oliver's show recently?
  7. This is some seriously good stuff.
  8. I can understand her frustration and criticisms. And it will definitely be interesting as time passes to read other perspectives about this movie, especially from Osage/Native American scholars. From what I understand, Scorsese worked closely with the Osage community on this film, and one of the criticism from some of them was not focusing the story on Mollie. I wonder if part of that is just the amount of trust already established between Scorsese and DiCaprio. Devery Jacobs has a platform and experience now. It would be cool to see her partner or help tell this story as well.
  9. Hard to watch as a Stros fan, but congrats to Ranger fans! And Helo! Haha
  10. Yeah I really like and miss the information booklets and mail-in ballots when I lived in California as well. Nonetheless, time to go vote early this week here in TX.
  11. Let's fucking win this thing tonight.
  12. Ha! I like the subtle or implicit bias that the non-progressives are what keeps the company running.
  13. So guys, maybe take tomorrow seriously eh?
  14. lol, wwww, come on… no need for that.
  15. Hard to argue… they’re really tasty.
