  1. Awww man. I quite enjoyed it.
  2. For God's sake, shut up Abbott
  3. Yep yep, finally getting some representation and recognition for non-white actors in popular media... end of civilization it is.

Had a hard time explaining why this was a bad idea to my hippie looking Uber driver in San Jose of all places yesterday. And of course it ended with him telling me that the pandemic wasn’t real and liberals made him lose millions.
  5. You understand a hero’s journey but don’t see that for Evelyn in the movie? Listen I’m not gonna debate subjective taste with ya which is totally fair. My annoyance with your original comment is more how a film you didn’t like and earning accolades is political. But hey, lots of movies and genres for all of us to enjoy.
  6. A woman who seemingly regrets much of her life choices goes on a fantastic multi dimension adventure to rediscover herself and the love for her family.
  7. Yeah I disagree and Banshees was my personal favorite. But respectfully, man it’s hard to not go CR on this comment/attitude.
  8. I might be off but I think the evidence came from discovery in the Dominion one… the new complaint filed by Mediamatters
  9. So was it a case of Crane trusting Luhnow blindly and now has course corrected?
  10. Hmm... I'm not really sure what you're missing from my previous comment. As to my original claim—I formed that opinion that what we often buy with made in America assumption is more likely assembled in US is based on info like this: https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/complying-made-usa-standard And it just made me think of our auto industry because of how global the supply chain is. This is from 2021: https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/052715/who-are-fords-f-main-suppliers.asp Umm, as to your clothes, guns, etc... I don't know, All I'm saying it wouldn't' surprise me if some part the supply chain to make all those products came from out of the US. I really don't understand your attitude toward my response. I don't think I was attacking you or anything. Clearly I failed, but I was just trying to make a point how global manufacturing has become.
  11. I mean, I don't have access nor know where to search to that level of detail. But my overall point is that a lot of US automakers work with part suppliers in Mexico and Canada. There's a lot of parts being made there shipped to the US as part of final assembly. I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything, just saying that for a lot of the products we touch, the "made in the US" isn't necessarily a 100% accurate.
  12. The thing is… would you be surprised how much of what you described isn’t true? Assembled in the US isn’t exactly made in the US. Especially your vehicle .
  13. I assume they ran out of budget for that one character. Otherwise, a fairly enjoyable Marvel flick. C+/B- range for me.
  14. Wow really? I need to pay closer attention on my next rewatch.
  15. I mean the only criticism I would have is that I would want variety from those taco trucks. I need representation from all regions of Mexico. 😄
  16. I haven't seen that survey but as someone who writes them... a question like that would need some context setting. Ethically I hope Rasmussen did that.
  17. Not sure really where to post this but came across this link for a Yakamein recipe. It's a product of Chinese immigrants working alongside African Americans on plantations and railroads in New Orleans. A. I've never heard of this before! B. I need to make this. C. We need more mixing of people and culture for all the delicious delicious food.
  18. The music they pick for this series is outstanding. Also, just tons of great 80s hits they’ve used so far. Some beautifully lit scenes this episode, especially the carousel.
  19. Sure, everyone has the innate ability to discriminate. And everyone should do better. And yeah, it’s better here than other parts of the world. But I live here and people that’s benefited from institutional racism don’t get a magic hall pass to shirk their responsibilities or at the very least be more of an ally either.
  20. Nothing like the thrill of mashing that log in button multiple times when you're trying to catch the waning moment of a close game...
  21. Professor Jones can examine my brief...
  22. Interesting article: Feeling ‘overwhelmed’ and ‘fatigue,’ some GOP voters look beyond Trump Also freaking ridiculous how many people will give him a pass for how "he was treated."
  23. The outrageousness of the characters and situations in Shrinking is what makes it so appealing for me.
