  1. Gorgeous February weather in Colorado today (60) following a pretty rough winter last year. Have been able to put away the gravel bike this past week and get some dry single track riding in.
  2. Kind of an understandable accident. That said, the fan after absolutely trucking Clark, spins to see her on the floor and just continues on to the celebration center court. Perhaps take a moment to ensure the other person is ok and apologize? Really bad look based on the video.
  3. Make it happen. CFB would be more fun with him back.
  4. If your daily maintenance caloric needs were 1900 and you don’t eat for 7 days my guess is 4 lbs seems more likely.
  5. Assuming Oregon can pay him and Lanning doesn't hate Eugene I don't see why he would leave. He is coming into the BIG with tOSU showing a few cracks, Michigan potentially losing Harbaugh, and USC starting to look like a mess. He is already out recruiting everyone but tOSU. He is positioned well for success.
  6. LOL, pretending to be a GI Joe after crushing some Welch's Fruit Snacks. What a fucking (murderous) child.
  7. I'm just trying to get back into good shape, I'm not running for Jesus.
  8. Checking in. Same story as everyone else regarding overdoing it from Thanksgiving to New Years and starting a dry January. Haven't stepped on a scale yet but probably need to drop 10 to hit my 2023 summer weight of 155 (5'8 manlet). Best tools in my Arsenal: Diet tracker and food scale. Allows me to be very accurate in my caloric deficit calculations. Food Hacks. Greek Yogurt to replace sour cream/ranch dip, Edamame Noodles in for pasta, Keto Bread, No Sugar Ginger Beer mocktails Being flexible with my workout so long as I do them. Lift, HIIT, Run, Cycle, Kettle Bells, etc. I just pick whichever sounds most engaging that day.
  9. In what world would anyone with the power to influence officials want Washington in the Championship game over Texas? That is way worse financially. Did Bezos do this?
  10. No problem, new DC and new OC. Lord, please make this happen.
  11. I don't disagree, except they were already burnt to the ground. In the last 18 seasons they've had a winning record once. The University will have a material increase in revenues while he is there and the impending dumpster fire will just be a return to the status quo.
  12. Spending Christmas visiting family in Phoenix has some advantages. Plan on riding every day. 60 degrees and trails to myself
  13. The same mouthbreathers that were cheering his anti immigration rambling at that rally were also cheering at UFC 296 which featured a fight card of 40% foreigners. COVID didn't come close to culling the herd sufficiently.
  14. I am also no expert. What I saw yesterday however was the avg. height of teams appeared to be a key factor. Nebraska and Wisconsin had much taller athletes than Arkansas and Oregon. Arkansas struggled all day getting over Nebraska's block and Wisconsin could consistently get points from Franklin (6'4) and Smrek (6'9). To my untrained eye, Oregon had the best offense I saw yesterday. They just had no way to defend Wisconsin at the net.
  15. 4 of NU's 5 best players are underclassmen. This isn't their year IMO
  16. So he gets to retire young and get paid $300M to play golf and not compete? Sounds desirable.
  17. Sounds exactly like my dad. I have no doubt despite what he says, my dad will vote for Trump again. Wish I had your optimism, I just don't. Nothing Trump has done will dissuade a large percentage of our population from voting for him. Every single person that voted never Trump in 2020 better turn out again or this country will be run by a regarded hate-filled Dictator.
  18. I have been searching for a home in Colorado which will act as my primary residence but have an additional ADU I rent out. The tax considerations are still confusing me. I will meet with a local CPA but thought I would check here too for any general guidance. Will the rental income tax % I pay be in line with my federal income tax rate? For example, if my federal tax rate is 32% will the income I earn on this ADU also be charged at that 32% level? Will I be able to depreciate the portion of the structure I rent? Will I be able to deduct mortgage interest and property taxes on the portion of this property I rent?
  19. I do have a strong preference on which one I'm rooting for though
  20. Strongly considering moving into the mountains in Colorado. I live near Denver currently and have a job that allows me to work largely remote. I've found a home in a small town of ~1500 people. The house sits on 2 wooded acres but is only 3-5 minutes from town. The town has a couple breweries, grocery store, coffee shop, and a few decent restaurants. The home is also 15 mins from a ski resort and minutes from some incredible mountain biking. I am an avid skier, mountain biker, and hiker. The town is also an hour from Denver so getting into an urban area isn't too challenging. What downsides am I not considering? Longer Winters Small Community Dreadful dating Greater amount of work to hang with existing friends
  21. Kevin Magnussen hard wreck into barrier that required some repair and clean up.
  22. Absolutely tragic. I only recall that happening once in my life but I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Recall seeing some images of Clink Malarchuk when I was a little kid I can still remember for better of worse.
  23. Beating bad competition. That said, they were losing to the same bad teams in past years. D looks legit, Offense is bad due to talent but you see an identity, team is better in most areas. I think they finish 7-5 and make a bowl.
