  1. That helps to know. I was surprised to learn my pain tolerance wasn't what I thought it was. To be accurate, we did take breaks. I believe the actual needle time was ~6.5 hours. I was really shocked at how much that hurt over the last 90 mins.
  2. Pics to come but my leg is wrapped in tegaderm at the moment and that isn't coming off. Got half way through my first tattoo today. Sleeve from knee to ankle that will take 15-16 hours in total. Holy hell, I underestimated the pain. The first 30 mins wasn't pleasant then I settled in. Hours 6 - 7.5 sucked ass though. I don't think I could have gone much longer. As other's have mentioned, a new appreciation to everyone I see out there covered head to toe in ink.
  3. Some interesting quotes from https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38279763/inside-deion-sanders-roster-remake-colorado-football. "I don't care about culture. I don't care. I don't care if they like each other, man. I want to win," "I don't think you got to have unity whatsoever," Sanders said. "You got to have good players." It might work, but certainly not an approach I've heard verbalized by other coaches. I suspect it's just a matter of time before this is a trainwreck. Players quitting mid-season or mid-game, Deion publicly fighting with school Admins or Asst. Coaches, recruiting violations, Deion openly courting other HC jobs, etc. I am certain though it will be incredibly entertaining and potentially profitable for UC in the short-term.
  4. Does Gilbert count against NU or Georgia in the Fulmer Cup standings? He wants to transfer to NU but the NCAA hasn’t granted his waiver. Last team he played for was Georgia yet he committed the crime in Lincoln.
  5. Somewhat ashamed? I'm not giving her my phone, email, or WIFI passwords but would happily hook up. The fact that she is a Russian foreign agent will lend itself well to some James Bond bedroom role play.
  6. Well, I didn't hate Steamboat.
  7. Like the watch, hate the bracelet. Swap that out and I think it would be solid.
  8. People who bring up CrossFit in any context
  9. Great video and sounds like an amazing experience. Any issue with varying levels of skill or fitness in the broader group?
  10. My hope is that a lot of this will be solved in the upcoming 10 years when a bunch of old people die. Anecdotally, those people in my family retired, are bored, and decided to spend their golden years binge watching Fox and being angry about a bunch of things that don't remotely impact them (e.g. Drag Shows when you live in rural Iowa). Hopefully the next generation of olds will be more jaded and less susceptible to media sensationalism. Wishful thinking I imagine.
  11. Got 8 in today in Lyons, CO. Mostly blue but that didn’t stop me from eating crap. Back tire spun during a technical section killing my momentum. At least there were several large rocks to catch me. Thankfully I was climbing at the time so damage was minimal. That said, it was still a great day.
  12. Yikes, heal up. I tried to do that myself multiple times yesterday. If I continue on with my current approach I should be sharing similar photos in the future.
  13. No, but just added it to my short list. I love Nederland and know some decent dispersed camping sites up there. Might try to give it a go next weekend.
  14. Front Range Colorado has been kind of the opposite of other parts of the country this summer, wetter and cooler (I think) than usual. Staying in the 80s this weekend so it makes the decision to ride super easy. I applaud you for getting in those morning rides though
  15. Got 7 miles in after work tonight. I can't think of a better way to reset after sitting in front of a computer all day.
  16. Spent 4 years as a teenager living in Alaska mountain biking. Then my family relocated to Southern Illinois and I said F doing that anymore. A lot of years have passed but I went up to Steamboat Springs over Memorial Day weekend this year with a bunch of friends that are riders. After day one I was hooked again and knew it was going to be an expensive weekend. 7 weeks later I'm riding 3 times a week mostly doing local blue trails. Fortunate to live in the front range of Colorado so good access to a lot of trails. Heading to Durango area in roughly a month for 3 days of riding. Hopefully I can avoid breaking myself for awhile.

    USMNT 2023

Chelsea unloaded Havertz and Mount this offseason. Now, why those other players left to better destinations than Milan for much higher fees, perhaps Chelsea being a shit show currently shouldn't be underweighted. Pulisic might not be starting caliber for only the top 20-25 clubs in Europe currently, that's pretty damn impressive still. He is the best attacking player I've ever seen on the USMNT. P.S. God I hope this doesn't turn into a debate about Pulisic vs. Dempsey vs. Donovan.
  18. Nobody will be crying that pulls the trigger. Hell, auction off the rights and put a nice dent in our national debt. Perhaps charge people to relieve themselves on his burial site after and erase the whole damn thing.
  19. One of NUs biggest disadvantages, perhaps it's biggest, is poor recruiting grounds in-state and neighboring states. NU will likely benefit in the NIL pay to play days. As mentioned, the fanbase is still immense and continues to dump money into the program. NU might be able to pay to get recruits they wouldn't have previously. Supposedly the school embraced and organized NIL efforts early. Will that help Rhule beat tOSU, Michigan, and USC regularly, highly unlikely. That said, I think the fans would be happy for quite awhile if NU was competing well on that next tier with PSU and Wisconsin.
  20. On that subject Rhule's focus on getting more players from Texas appears to be working. He filled his coaching and administrative staff with a lot of people with Texas connections. The 2024 recruiting class has 7 players from Texas currently committed. Mostly of the 3 star variety but the numbers appear to be a big increase over the past 7 years.

  22. I'm glad this individual isn't going to be in your school district ever again. That said, he might end up in someone else's. These people are sick and will absolutely act again. There is zero doubt what his intentions were. I don't think he got a fright and will now stop that kind of behavior. He likely simply learned what not to do next time. I understand you are navigating a lot at the moment but I would encourage you to reconsider involving the police. I have two female family members that were sexually abused, the damage it did to them is immense and they will carry it for life.
