  1. Tiger knows. It appears still, but thats a one club wind in their face. Experience.
  2. Molinari is nails. Gotta give it to him.
  3. Agree completely. His lack of length, and his mediocre ball striking was covered up by amazing putting. Now that's gone cold, he's lost. I hope he gets it back and doesn't pull a David Duval.
  4. Masters app sucked balls for me today. Live viewing sucked, kept freezing up, etc. Great scoring conditions today. Koepka is a straight up baller. On quite a roll. Phil shot 67 with a water ball on 11. The cream rose to the top today.
  5. Champion's dinner last night.
  6. Looks like it's going to be a wet tournament, rain on Thurs and Sunday. I think Rory does it this year. He will be able to throw darts, and he's playing really well. Rahm should contend, but his temperament will prevent him from winning. Don't count out Bubba. Spieth will finish top 10, but his putting is horrible right now.
  7. Weather has improved, finally getting some good practice sessions in. I have my bag set this year after being a club ho last year. Fairways up here in DFW are still dormant, ready for some green fairways.
  8. Mount your bindings yourself. Seriously, it's easy. Go get the template from TGR forums.
  9. Thought this was funny. For all you AR15 builders.
  10. FYI, grendel rule of thumb for most expenditures is $2500 for expensing vs. capitalizing ($5000 for repairs/maintenance). Less than that, expense. More than that, capitalize and depreciate over time. 179 exclusions notwithstanding.
  11. Ski boots are about three-fiddy. A good deal would seriously be in that range. However, it's probably best to buy from a boot fitter so they can match you up with the right brand/model top minimize the amount of grinding/punching. I have had good luck buying online for cheap, but I know which boots fit me best. Usually pay around $250 for the boots, and $100-150 for the fitting. Custom footbeds will run you another $200 or so (I think, I haven't bought them in 15 years).
  12. I own 3 pairs of skis (fat G3 powder skis, Volkl Mantras, Volkl AC4s for rocks/early season). For $250-300 you can get a good setup, pays for itself in 2 seasons. I like to tune and wax myself though, so it's a side hobby. At a minimum, get some good boots and pay for a custom fitting. They will last you 10+ years, and your feet will be much happier. Did a last minute powder trip to Utah early February, hit rope drop on Cirque at Snowbird, great run with untouched thigh deep pow (run had been closed for 3 days). Hit Alta after 25-30" of fresh, was a shitshow but great conditions. LCC was crazy crowded even during weekdays, locals complaining about Ikon. Bringing in a lot of east coast tourists. If you are on the fence this year, go ski. This is an epic year (once in 20 years) for snow, conditions are great worldwide.
  13. Utah getting the goods. 4 feet in last 3 days, including 19" overnight with another 12" expected today. Rope drops on Thursday will be epic, probably 5' of untouched pow. Bottomless, hero pow.
  14. Binged watched this week. Weird style, but the content is fascinating. I didn't know Netscape's decision to open source their code led to Chrome, Firefox, etc.
  15. My invite must have got lost in the mail.
  16. Solitude over Brighton if you head to BCC.
  17. This should get your ski boner moving.
  18. Alta today (not me). Closed the mountain at 12:30, tomorrow and Wednesday should be epic.
  19. Alta and Deer Valley couldn't be more opposite, experience wise. Both are great in their own way. It's a stellar year for snow all around. Could be a banner year.
  20. Bring your "A" game. Some of the steepest inbounds skiing in the U.S. The tram gives the most vertical. I prefer to ski Little Cloud area. They got a huge dump this week, with more on the way next few days.
  21. You are making an incorrect assumption. What about private companies? That investment is direct, and small companies are the driving engine behind America.
  22. So, how many here think the Green Party votes in Ohio this week were just Russian meddling in the election? Twitter libs think so. You can't make this stuff up.
