  1. That is what's really showing on their site. You never know with the internet, but I have had them bookmarked for most of this year. They seem legit to me, but I haven't done any worthwhile investigation. They seem transparent about their credentials: We are a group of public health and crisis experts. With former experience working at the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, and on the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. We are a non-partisan group, having worked across multiple administrations. We built this site to track each state's progress towards stopping the spread of COVID-19. Our focus is the data available on the ground and how we can surface it in meaningful ways for state and local leaders to act on. This is a collaborative effort between individuals from a few organizations. We are always looking for feedback on how we can make this resource more useful. If you have suggestions, please send them our way. ‍ Collaborators Ryan Panchadsaram (@rypan)- U.S. Digital Response Natalie Davis - United States of Care Kristin Wikelius (@kwikelius)- United States of Care Cyrus Shahpar, MD (@cyrusshahpar)- Resolve to Save Lives Laura Cobb, DrPH - Resolve to Save Lives Marta Wosińska, PhD - Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy David Anderson - Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy Lucas Merrill Brown, PhD - U.S. Digital Response Devin Hunt - U.S. Digital Response David Goligorsky - U.S. Digital Response Patrick Sheehan - U.S. Digital Response Sean MacPherson - U.S. Digital Response Brice Wolfgang- U.S. Digital Response Data Sources Cases, Deaths, Tests - COVID Tracking Project Rt - rt.live ILI Activity Level - CDC ICU & Hospital Utilization - CDC Disclaimer This is a volunteer effort and the data we use comes from publicly available sources. 2. He was a late bloomer from Scranton, PA.
  3. It did impress me. Sometimes we use the term "BYOB" in football. The blocking was decent on the play, save one man, so Bijan had to "Be Your Own Blocker" and his spin did the trick. I love that he says he is working on various elements (like the spin move) to improve his arsenal. It's getting weaponized ahead of schedule, IMO. Which of course makes me all the more ragey that we had a fucking 2nd and 2 and called two consecutive unsuccessful pass plays to kill our 76 yard drive and settle for FG. RTDB! 20-0 record when we run >20 times? RTMFB!
  4. Yes, I chalk that up to "things you don't root for, but end up as necessary blessings." When I read the MRNA protocol a few months ago, I saw in their methodology an assumption of achieving their total number of cases in 6 months. So the planned interim analyses would really be important, but how long to get there, and would the lower incidence of cases prolong the timeline? Well, our country couldn't help itself, and the cases came a-blazin' so here we are. Thanks to all the super spreaders!
  5. It's a wonderful day!
  6. I appreciate the incremental improvements on D. That said, I don't understand why we fared so poorly on all of the WR screens. And man did their receivers dominate us on so many challenged balls. Nice to see us in position, but gotta fight better.
  7. Let's put some "Pick Cotton!" billboards all throughout AA communities if he runs.
  8. Judge Emmet Sullivan seems like he doesn't suck. A heroic SOB, IMHO.
  9. Fargo fuck yourselves.
  10. Judging by the username Commander Stinger and his avatar, I'd pay close attention if he says that Herman will be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit outta Hong Kong by November.
  11. Toobin fair, I think it was somewhat of a "Challenge Accepted!" situation:
  12. Silly man, Mexico and China will pay for it.
  13. There has been a distinction about the type of activity and its association with risk. For example, singing is riskier than speaking in normal volume. It's about the force of exhaling the aerosolized viral droplets. It's not hard to see how a spin class, with and even without a shouting instructor, would be on the riskier side of things. Hence the 6 ft rule should not have been considered adequate. I'm afraid sometimes simplified messaging can lead to a false sense of security. I can't think of how many times the dotard administration has said, "but they're outside!" when someone asked them about social distancing and masks.
  14. That's fucked up. Does anyone know who Bledsoe is stealing votes from more? (I realize he won't get many, but tight race and whatnot)
  15. well shit, I do know the difference, but have been tracking both of them Carolinas. So I detest the Feinstein comments as much as everybody here but wonder if it's like when a Hollywood actor endorses a candidate and changes absolutely zero minds.
  16. OK, bad form for sure, but is there a Tar Heel at any age who gives a flying fuck about anything Diane Feinstein says?
  17. The valley with better turnout than Montgomery is good to see. San Antonio lagging. Williamson, Denton, and Collin bringing the subruban heat. That could be very good or very bad. Galveston and Brazoria probably enthused Trumpers. North County will be heavy in favor of Dotard. But the island is ridin' with Biden!
  18. Hooray for us Galveston County folks leading the way...I voted!
  19. I always thought Dick Trickle should've become a urologist instead of race car driver.
  20. Username checks out.
  21. Better get some ballot drop boxes over to all the ICUs in FL!
