  1. I'd view it more as Trump's ego telling him he's so far above Biden he doesn't need to acknowledge his existence. He can spend all his time doing the things he loves best, golf, food, and grifting/talking about himself in front of his cult while he basks in their adulation.
  2. Trump has always been more vocal when he's actually threatened by someone/feels threatened in the polls. Ever since the 2016 Republican primaries he's gone after the biggest threats and ignored the rest. Biden did more damage to himself than Trump could have hoped to do with repeated attacks. I don't think Trump is necessarily listening to others so much as he's knows he doesn't have to do anything unless Biden strings together a few weeks (at least) of coherent public appearances. He can go play golf all day and gorge himself on McDonalds in the meantime.
  3. They won't be able to spend said $$$$$$$ from their ratings after Trump has them thrown in prison for not actively supporting him.
  4. Bracing for the worst-case scenario of Biden holding it together in this interview, staying the candidate, holding it together until September/October, then having another debate-like episode and there's literally no time to to do damage control or get someone else.
  5. If Biden starts to wander off, Stephanopolous better not save him. If he can't pull off an interview in a friendly setting, it should hammer home the point that he can't be the nominee any longer. The best case scenario for the interview is Biden buys time until the next interview/public appearance, rinse and repeat until election day.
  6. On the off chance that maybe, just maybe a few independents/undecided voters decide blatantly calling for the power to suspend elections for however long you want is a bridge to far and they vote Dem in November.
  7. Call him out on it and (assuming he/his team has half a brain) he will slightly walk it back and point to the French and British snap elections as what he was talking about. His base would buy that hook, line, and sinker, although I highly doubt they care about him overriding the Constitution whenever/however he wants.
  8. There's no need to give up, but waiting for some magical line in the sand via something Trump says or does to turn off the undecided voters or some of his base is past wishful thinking at this point. The hope is that the Dems figure out their own line in the sand to get the fence sitters to move towards their camp whether that be Biden stepping down, or Biden stringing together a town hall and some live interviews where he can at least look/sound lucid the whole time.
  9. There will never be a line in the sand. Trump's 1st term provided more than enough evidence that he's completely unfit for office. The "undecided" voters will continue to do whatever mental gymnastics necessary to justify voting for Trump/3rd party until the country/world no longer exists.
  10. I mean, for Aggy that's actually pretty impressive. Admitted their program is a historical dumpster fire and said it was all about the money (nevermind there was a 0% chance Tennessee wouldn't match if Vitello ever considered it).
  11. They're about to run out of coaches as well.
  12. Poor Aggy ran out of strikes.
  13. Did Tennessee remember to replace the horseshoe up their ass from the first FSU game? Doesn't look like it so far.
  14. I'd vote for crushing their own nuts to share the pain of the football team, but there's a non-zero chance that's contributed to at least a few of them being unable to reproduce...so I'll allow it.
  15. I blame myself. Let's try this again. 1. Aggy 2. Tennessee 3. Meteor 4. Championship series cancelled after Schloss and Vitello both quit prior to game 1 to become co-head coaches at Texas and both fan bases riot.
  16. Born in Tallahassee, played at FSU, was briefly an assistant at FSU at the beginning of his career. I'm sure he'd be on a list if it was a reasonable assumption they could get him. He's Mitch Canham with a stable power conference, CWS appearance, and a school that can probably match an offer sheet.
  17. Why should Arkansas fans be disappointed, is Arkansas really viewed as a definitively better job/program than Tennessee?
  18. And Mack was still alright in general the last few years aside from putting no effort into scouting/recruiting.
  19. Meh, FSU pitcher did more then enough bed shitting on his own before that call. Bases empty, 2-run lead and you only need 2 more outs? Do your fucking job, yes, job. You're undoubtedly getting paid.
  20. Zero reason to back off the hate at all unless he become the coach at Texas. Even then, hating the coach's guts and cheering for the players aren't mutually exclusive.
  21. Go FSU. Vitello is a complete jackass. Regardless of whether or not he ends of taking the Texas job, it would be glorious to see him fail again this CWS.
  22. 1-6. Not Aggy or Tennessee. 7. Tennessee 8. Aggy
  23. Same jackass coach is still there. Not going to cheer against the team outright, but I don't exactly wish success for the coach either.
  24. They forfeited against Vandy in the CWS semis because their coach decided not to have players vaccinated if they so chose and they had a Covid outbreak in Omaha. Fucked around and found out.
  25. Hurley seems to like coaching at a place like UConn and can probably name his price to stay for the rest of his career. Barring an absolute series of scandals or implosion of the program, he's on the Coach K/Duke track until he chooses to retire.
