  1. Need to have Reggie Miller on First Take tomorrow as another fuck you to Stephen A Smith, the Knicks, their fans, and their overrated "Mecca of Basketball."
  2. All I ask is that Denver/Minnesota/Dallas/OKC curb stomp Boston I'm the finals. One title this millennium and those fuckers and their fans still act like they're the class of the NBA.
  3. Gobert stumbling and traveling directly under the basket after Jokic walked away and conceded a dunk was amazing.
  4. Still more than enough time left, but Minnesota really should have cut the lead more in the 3rd quarter when Jokic had to sit with 4 fouls.
  5. New York just needs a few more injuries to balance the scales. The lingering injury to Haliburton isn't completely offset by Anunoby, Randall, Bogdanovic, and Robinson being completely out of the games. Need Brunson and either Hart or DiVencenzo to tweak something just to be safe.
  6. Pat Riley chose violence today. Butler isn't getting a contract extension, needs to keep his mouth shut when he's not on the court, and needs to play more games in-season. Herro needs to work on his nutrition and conditioning. Spo doesn't know what he's doing on offense of defense. I'm sure Butler in particular will just let those comments slide. Might as well trade him for peanuts now before he torches your franchise.
  7. Ah yes, the bubble year where everyone got 3-4 months off to rest up for the stretch run and playoffs. There's the answer, Clippers just need to ask the league to institute an in-season, quarter-year load management break.
  8. Nick Wright predicted Ishbia sells the Suns before any of the NBA expansion teams plays a single game, using Prokhorov as the example. It's going to get real ugly for Ishbia for the next few years as Durant and Beal continue to age, they can't draft anyone, and Booker starts to pout about wasting his prime.
  9. The Suns, Lakers, and Clippers would kill to be in that position. The Heat might not be willing to kill, but they'd consider it.
  10. Tobias Harris tonight in 29 minutes, 0 points on 2 shots, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Never let the Sixers forget than they chose to keep him and Ben Simmons over Jimmy Butler.
  11. Until those FTs, Embiid was sitting at 2pts scored in the 4th quarter...again. Sixers probably rely on him too much on both ends of the floor and yes he's injured, but this seemingly happens every year.
  12. Are we including Stephen A Smith? Or is he gonna hedge his bets and claim he's also Sixers fan?
  13. Give it 2-3 years. He's getting a pass for now as the media wants New York relevant.
  14. Whelp, sounds like Sixers fans doubled down on selling their tickets. Either that or the former Sixers ownership was full of shit about purchasing thousands of tickets.
  15. Miami went through the same process with the Bucks a few years ago. Embarrassed them in the bubble, then got swept in the 1st round the following year. They should be happy they didn't mortgage their future to acquire Beal/Lillard to get the same result.
  16. Nash may have been a terrible coach on his own merits, but Durant and Kyrie should still get partial credit for that debacle. They wanted Atkinson fired and wanted someone who was more of a friend/teammate in the coaching role.
  17. Miami dark magic strikes again, they end up winning even after faceplanting in their offseason pursuit of Beal or Lillard. They weren't getting by Boston this year, let alone Denver/OKC/Minny. Maybe they somehow shuffle deck chairs along with Phoenix and get Durant since Ishbia is probably going to do something stupid again.
  18. Good thing they locked down PG for the next few years instead of the malcontent who can't stay health...oops.
  19. Best part of the Knicks - Sixers series is the guarantee that one shitty fanbase will have a meltdown after every game.
  20. Don't worry, I got you covered. Fuck Kawhi Leonard. He's being paid handsomely to sit on the bench in warmups every year. He doesn't give a shit as long as he's paid.
  21. No Butler, Rozier, or Wright for Miami tonight. If Boston didn't come out and destroy them, it would only be because they still weren't taking it seriously. Miami wouldn't have gone 23-42 last game if Boston hadn't half-assed it on defensive closeouts the whole time.
  22. Weren't the Cavs already in danger of blowing things up anyway, given that Mitchell hasn't expressed any real interest in getting a new contract/contract extension in place?
  23. He's over corrected his choice of teams ever since OKC was too stupid to pay some luxury taxes and keep a young core together. It's been absolutely nothing but teams where management paid obscene luxury taxes to let him play with his friends at the expense of any type of actual drafting/development.
  24. Fuck the Lakers and Bron for trying to drag this shit out with the challenge after the game is effectively over. Can't wait for these fuckers to get bounced again and we can stop hearing the bullshit, forced Bron-for-GOAT arguments for a few months.
  25. https://nbarankings.theringer.com/playoff-odds Bill Simmons and friends had Miami at 1% odds to win the series as of this morning. Maybe they'll be generous and bump it up to 1.5% by tomorrow.
