Those terrible losses to the Cardinals and Patriots are going to kill the Steelers season. Could be sitting at 11-5.

    Ugh.

Does it really matter though?  Steelers weren't/aren't making any noise in the playoffs with their qb situation.  The slightly higher draft pick probably won't matter much, but the odds of it helping out long term are better than the odds of winning more than 1 round in the playoffs.

It’s like the Steelers have an offense

So based on the results this year with Dobbs and Browning, they should start Rudolph the last two weeks of the regular season, then if they sneak into the playoffs, bench Rudolph for the next practice squad guy.

Do you guys consider Florida State a Blue Blood? They have 3 titles but less wins than aTm

Florida and Clemson both have 3 titles and more wins than FSU.  Do either of those usually get recognized as a Blue Blood?

Chargers looking to get their coach fired. Laying down. Too bad the owners won’t force the Spanos family to sell.

That offense tonight directed by Kellen Moore. I’m so glad McCarthy ran that dick weasel out of Texas.

They definitely want him fired.  There's a long list of teams that could have justifiably quit this season and instead kept going.  Just off the top of my head, Bengals after Burrow went down, Vikings after Cousins went down and Jefferson was out for most of the season, the Giants, not so much because they miss Daniel Jones but Tommy DeVito was their next option, or the Jets each time their ownership foists Zach Wilson on them.

Only the Chargers immediately and completely gave up.

  5. Mahomes just now complaining about how the refs are supposed to warn them first before making the call with 1 minute left in the game.  What kind of bullshit logic isnthat?  So now we can wait till the end of the 4th quarter to commit a blatant penalty and the refs are supposed to swallow the whistle because they didn't warn us throughout the game?

  6. Non-PPR, Gibbs at Chicago or Hubbard at New Orleans?  Seems like Dan Campbell has slowly but surely tiled the distribution back to Montgomery vs a timeshare, while Hubbard got the workhorse treatment last week after Reich got fired.

Is this the weakest Heisman field ever like only 1 of these guys is gonna have a career in the NFL

2012 is really tough to beat.  Manziel got the award for throwing up prayers to Mike Evans all season and getting bailed out and Manti Te'o was the only guy without shouting distance of him in Heisman points.

The SEC champ is getting in. Period. There is all kinds of logic to prove there are better more deserving teams but that’s just not realistic.  Somebody is getting fucked between us, UW, and FlaSt. But the SEC champ is not going to be the one left out.

In that case it's between FSU and Texas.  0% chance Washington is left out at this point.  They're going to be at worst the #2 seed.

They put Bama in over Texas with a H2H loss, we riot!!!

they’re opening a can of worms

Committee don't give a shit about the can of worms with the playoff expanding.  Doesn't mean they will leave Texas out in favor of Bama though.

Alabama is absolutely making the playoff. Take that to the bank. Texas will not be ranked below them and I think we see a number 1 ranked Texas tomorrow afternoon. Guys it's time to sell your home, sell your car, and dump the girlfriend. We have playoff tickets to buy

You that confident in Iowa beating the fightin' Harbaughs?  And in the event that does happen, undefeated Washington gets the #1 seed.

CFB committee is going to be praying for a Louisville win tonight.

That was happening regardless of Bama potentially winning this game.  Nobody outside of Tallahassee wants to see FSU and their backup qb pull a Notre Dame in the playoff semi-finals.

So you think the committee would leave out an undefeated P5 conference champion, in favor of at least one team with a loss?

It's fluid/piss but I could see it happening.

If this was Louisville, TCU, Utah, or some traditional 3rd-tier team, I could see it happening.  FSU is a big enough name that they won't get left out if they go undefeated, regardless of how shitty their backup qb looks.

Why leave your alma mater where you’re a hero twice over to go to East Lansing?  The conference insecurity?

Conference insecurity and money are pretty good reasons.  Very little chance he can sustain the current success at Oregon State in the Mountain West/insert 2nd tier conference here.  Less television money, even harder to recruit, might as well jump now.
