  1. The words that actually came out of his mouth responded to a layup question about abortion by talking about a woman who got killed by an illegal immigrant. And he also mentioned something about beating medicare at the end of a rambling statement without a coherent subject...
  2. It was the worst debate performance there has ever been. I couldn't have even imagined worse. I guess maybe it could have been worse if he would have fallen asleep and a moderator had to walk up and nudge him to get him to answer a question or something.
  3. Harris would likely be offered AG in exchange for support.
  4. Well, when the president does it, that means it's not illegal.
  5. That can't work long term unless the red states start building walls to prevent their citizens from fleeing.
  6. That's what the election should be about, but it's not. This election is between two men who wouldn't be able to get a job at a gas station. One of them wants to convert us into Nazi Germany, and the other wants to continue being president for reasons he doesn't even understand. But the election can't be about the economy because Biden isn't capable of making the election about that.
  7. Arizona and Colorado are probably both a little bit high, but otherwise it looks pretty good. I'd pick KSU to finish ahead of Utah, mostly because they get OSU at home and Utah has to go to Stillwater. They don't play each other so the OSU matchup likely swings the season.
  8. From a scheduling standpoint, the Big 10 is going to be easier more often than it's not. Not easier to win the conference, but easier to win 10 games.
  9. I think it's too late for a new network to get established. Cable subscriptions are way down. A Big 12 network would probably have to be a streaming service, and it would get lower subscription and viewership than ESPN+.
  10. The Big 10 is full of truly terrible football programs. It shouldn't be very hard for USC to win 9 or 10 games and get into the playoff.
  11. Colorado BuffaLowes Kansas State Wild Wings Kansas JayKochs (at least until Koch gets tired of hearing Jaycocks) Oklahoma State Stetson Cowboys Iowa State Pioneer Seed Clones TCU Horned Frog Tape Texas Tech Red Lobsters Houston Costcos Cincinatti Bayer Cats UCF Golden Corrals West Virginia Mountain Hardware Arizona Wet'n'Wildcats Arizona State Capri Sun Devils Baylor football presented by Liberty University BYU Super Soakers
  12. When is the last time either of those conferences have done anything for the good of the sport?
  13. Well, giving 20% of the conference to private equity loses money in the not-so-long run.
  14. Yeah, but just about every Mormon roots for BYU. So you'd need data on OSU alumni vs attendance at all of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints churches.
  15. Maybe people don't understand that sports bets don't work like meme stocks.
  16. I think if there were a requirement for all series scheduled to be home and homes or neutral site games, everyone would stop scheduling the FCS schools and we would see better matchups. We are getting what we get because everyone wants to have 7 or 8 home games every year.
  17. Just about everyone schedules an FCS school every year, regardless of conference. The only programs that don't have enough money buy out of road games to crappy FBS schools.
  18. No way any sort of salary cap could get implemented without aggy losing a whole lot of ability to pay recruits. Take away the money and they are left trying to get recruits to College Station, sharing a campus with a fake army, a graveyard for dogs, and a bunch of assholes yelling at them to get off the grass.
  19. Yeah, the obvious solution would be to decouple football from the universities, but I don't think people would still watch without that affiliation.
  20. Every EA game ends up on Gamepass about a year after it comes out.
