  1. Umps @ FL - S Bama are making liberal use of replay system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Lots of good names... Fitzgerald, Ronstadt, Wilson are all up there for me. Pat Benatar is a favorite before she got more into making videos than music.
  3. 2nd dose of Pfizer today. Had nothing but a sore arm the first time. We'll see.
  4. Favorite scene has no dialogue. Michael embracing Fredo at their Momma's funeral and Michael giving the look to Neri. The music throughout the scene is perfect.
  5. This season's pacing has been decent to almost enjoyable.
  6. Good game by Wolf. That dude has our number. Fuck off WV. Would like to get at least one win this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I have to confess, I could already iron. 30+ years of marriage will naturally bring out some domestication other wise you will not be married for 30+ years. I have to admit though, since the pandemic started and she works from home, I can count on one hand how many loads of laundry I have done and how many times I have started the dishwasher.
  9. On subject of clothes, whites and colors in a hot water wash. Wash and dry her dry cleaning. Use highest heat setting on dryer... This will get you off laundry duty... Unfortunately, I have been married long enough that she has me pretty domesticated and I can wash and iron with the best now.
  10. Jacobson and Corona deserve game balls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yep, half of my team is in India. They are locked down.
  12. Did everyone bail out on this? Caught up last night. It started out good...
  13. Speaking of passes to RBs. One thing I liked about the Alabama QBs under Sark is that they had a knack for hitting the RB in stride on swing passes. Not only that, he schemed it so they, the RB, wouldn't get blown up as soon as he caught the ball. Also, on special teams... I can't wait to see how Banks sets up Jamison.
  14. Made the OSU game trip Wheeler put together in 99. One of the best road game trips of all time. He made sure everyone had a good time. I hated to hear about what happened on the later trip. That being said, it has been over 20 years since I looked at hornfans. Did longhornfanzone, burntorangefanzone and lmfanzone(miss this little site). Lurked on shag for awhile, finally signed up right before the split. Pre www days it was r.s.f.c.. === What kind of split between touches will it be between Bijan and Roschon?
  15. Kate Winslet is like the rising tide that lifts all the other actors up.
  16. Head coaching changes and\or coordinator changes always seem to start showing their worth after a few games or the halfway point of the season. That doesn't mean losses early on but that doesn't mean winning will be easy at the beginning either.
  17. Any of you ever use priceline for rentals? Though, I did just glance over there and prices are kinda reflecting what you are talking about. They used to offer 60% off, now 30%. Miss the days when you could name your own price.
  18. For those looking at this as a life lesson to pass on to your kid, good for you. Don't put it off, arm your self, and be present. For those looking at the government to step in and help, watch 'Crime of the Century' on HBO.
  19. Dude in Lubbock begs to differ. That shit bag that ran the pain clinics in SLC should be on death row.
  20. Wife and I got first rounds this past weekend. Pfizer for me, Moderna for her... Lady giving me the vaccine asked me, "Are you excited??!?" Told her, I am neither vehemently for or against the vaccine and to be quite honest, if it hadn't been for the fact that I was able to book an appt on the same day I started looking for an appt, I would have put it off longer. tl;dr - Said WTF and got vaccinated.
  21. Base running...how does it work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Shut your damned frog holes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. My first wife's mother passed away at the age of 60. She was survived by her mom (wife's grandmother) who was in her eighties. Needless to say, wife's grandmother was devastated. It struck me then and has stayed with me for 35 plus years how the loss of a child affects a parent no matter the age of child. God bless the Ehlinger family. On a side note, we can learn a lot about family and community by observing the responses from Jake's teammates. Beautiful and moving. As other's have pointed out, leave no "I love you"s or other kind words unsaid.
  24. That thought did cross my mind. Very convincing.
