  1. Started Season 3 yesterday. Wife tapped out. I will say, It is worth Watching the Ep. 1 of Season 1 and then watching Ep 1. of Season 3. I am in it for the duration but dang this getting into GOT level of introducing new characters, worlds and timelines.
  2. Damn. She was beautiful. Always got my attention when she was on screen.
  3. This is the first movie I saw on HBO. Boobs and F-bombs. I was only 15 but I knew I was hooked on the notion of subscription TV after that day.
  4. Son-in-law did drive thru testing today. Some one on his job site tested positive. Waiting...
  5. "What we were after now was the old surprise visit. That was a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultraviolent."
  6. Subtitles were a life saver. Enjoyed it. Will watch again at some point.
  7. The Canyon is spectacular for sure. This last trip we took the south part of the loop out of West Yellowstone through the park to come down to the Tetons. Got caught up in about a two hour delay because of bison being bison. We were stopped next to a\the river. It was the most pleasant delay I have ever experienced in a car.
  8. Want to check out Glacier at some point. Been to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons twice now. The last time was almost exactly a year ago. Took my granddaughters with us. Prior to the second trip I have maintained that the Scenery of the Tetons is a cut above that of Yellowstone. Still true ... However, getting to see Yellowstone with snow on the ground blew me away this last trip. Watching my grand kids play in the snow in June is a memory I will never get. There are others as well.
  9. Had the sausage and the sausage with jalapeno and cheddar. Was dang good. Missed out on the brisket because it was sold out. They are supposed to cater my daughter's wedding in November.
  10. I have had to have an eyelid reattached. I have had a dog bit me on the face which required a plastic surgeon to rebuild part of my upper lip. 1 head laceration which required stitches. aaand pinched the tip of my right index finger right above the top knuckle. All of these before I turned 7 years of age. As far as adult era... was involved in a jeep rollover that left me with 4-5 staples in my skull and shoulder and neck issues for a few years. I still have to go to rehab every so often for the shoulder. I was basically thrown out of the jeep and landed on my shoulder\head. Felt like I had been hit by Al Capone with a baseball bat.
  11. This. I am always blown away by everything in this movie every time I watch. It's a work of art.
  12. HOOOO LEEEE SHIIIIIT! I know The University has some things to work through. At the very least, I think we are self aware enough to want to gain an understanding of what our minority students go through. We have some work to do here but I don't think it is insurmountable. A&M needs to be razed and the ground it was on needs to be salted if these are truly the dominant attitudes of the Aggies.
  13. Quest For Fire. I was 18 and with a date who had a curfew. The decision to walk out of the movie was probably not solely based on the movie alone.
  14. At least they left a note... and just think about how good those minis are gonna taste after they have been in the freezer!
  15. Another check-in on the Epstein series. Agree with what others have said. Sinister in the manner he and his minions could pick the right girls for what he wanted. Hopefully, they will crack down on the women he had doing his bidding. I wish they would have named more names.
  16. Pancho, I am no apologist, but to look at the history of the US and not acknowledge the treatment of blacks through its history as nothing less than repugnant is repugnant in itself. This latest killing is no less of a tragedy than any of what has happened in the past. I will leave it at that and say, I am sorry for your pain man.
  17. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood - Enjoyed it. Would like to have seen more of Mr. Rogers side of life. But there is a hint or two in the movie that he was human just like the rest of us. Se7en - Brad Pitt's character deserves a punch in the face almost every time he opens his mouth...maybe it's just the old man in me talking. Anyways, I remember watching Spacey in Wiseguy about 30 years ago and thinking, this dude is going to be famous. Too bad he picked up the notoriety that he did after he achieved his fame.
  18. Damn, I don't know what the hell I was thinking and now that you bring it up... Randy Kinder was a dude in Waco that you didn't want to come across in any setting. Eventually, HE ended up actually murdering someone. I was there for the killing of the other Randy Kinder, though.
  19. I think this what I need to come to grips with and just do it. On the soloing part though, I want to develop my own style but this is still the best approach to doing that. Wouldn't hurt to brush back up on shapes\Forms and maybe scales and sequences.
  20. Melissa Ledger\Northrup - Killed by Kenneth Wayne McDuff. She and her family lived down the street from us. Little thing. She was a sweet kid too. If any one was outside at my house she would always stop as she was walking past and visit for a bit. I always kidded her about something - like a big brother - and she always had the best girly giggly response. Breaks my heart to this day. The other side of the coin... If I am wrong on the order of events, sue me. A head washes up around the twin bridges in Waco. Some time after that, Bosque County sheriff's department or local guy pulls over a vehicle for routine traffic stop. As the officer was approaching the vehicle, driver caps himself. The head belonged to an old lady. A real estate agent had been after this old lady to sell her property to him. She kept refusing. So, obviously, he escalated the matter. Anyway flashback to 1983, this same dude was the real estate agent for my folks when they sold their house. I met the man on several occasions. Marshall Carraway was his name.
