  1. They are almost all a bunch of old retreads from a past era. They need a much younger group for the modern NFL.
  2. If he were my Butler one of his duties would damn sure to be playing the James Bond theme every time I entered a room.
  3. A different scheme with a new coaching staff with different philosophy could also help the OL. They are so bad they shouldn't even be this bad, even if they lack talent. I don't know squat about blocking schemes, but I have to wonder whether these guys are also being used in a way that exposes their weaknesses more as a unit.
  4. And I don't think the OL was all that great the last three seasons. It seems like it has gone from mediocre to terribad in that span. It has been largely overrated due to the star power names that weren't quite performing like stars for an injury-riddled unit.
  5. Romo got as much crap as Dak did for most of the years he was playing. That's just the nature of the media/blogosphere/fanboy beast. One of these days in the not so distant future we may very well miss the hell out of Dak.
  6. It definitely gets eyeballs and ears, but I'm not buying it. Two things would have me just about totally out with the Cowboys, and one is anything remotely related to Deion or his spawn, unless you count Hunter. The other is midget genius boy Kellen Moore as head coach. Fuck both of those bullshit rumors in the goatass.
  7. Same shit, just another tired system coaching tree guy who has no new ideas of his own. They tend to look OK for a couple of years before the game passes them by. He's as fossilized as McCarthy, which we all knew wasn't going to get us where we want to go. Credit to him for 12 win seasons, but still had a hardass ceiling he was never going to break, until the whole thing crumbled.
  8. Cowboys are currently sitting in the 9th position in 2025 draft order after last night's dumpster fire. From looking at the teams in front and behind them, I would say that's about the latest position the Cowboys might hold, even if they steal a couple of wins (Giants?) from a shitty team somewhere on the remaining schedule. Somewhere between 6th and 9th seems fairly likely. Too bad they just shit away that 4th rounder for probably nothing and needing a ton of rookie starting spots to fill next season.
  9. That could be even better than the longass doc. Like you're right there in the middle of it, a Beatles fan's dream.
  10. Clara was quite the ho', which is likely why she had an obsession with pickles.
  11. If the sale price doesn't show up when you click the adorama link, go to slickdeals.net and search for the sale link there.
  12. Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. Electric Guitar (Cerulean Smoke) + Free S/H $499 $899 44% off https://www.adorama.com/gr2509700566.html?sdtid=17877006&emailprice=t
  13. I have been on that field many times staring right at that blinding shit. Gap should have been filled with a bigass video screen ages ago, to replace teh stupid overhanging screen that takes attention away from live action on the field. One of the biggest weaknesses of "home field" disadvantage at jerry world.
  14. Cooper takes too bit a hop on his dropback, costs him a tick that makes him late delivering. Simple mechanical shit.
  15. Cowboys have probably gone against more of these "tush pushes" than any team in NFL history, yet remain the absolute worst at defending it. Maybe invest heavily in some interior defensive line, other than shitty first round reaches for a bust? That would be a nice change of pace since the freakin' 90s.
  16. Yep, they should start Lance. At least get some value out of that pick before he's gone, while also bettering their draft position.
  17. I'm supposed to be getting free Sunday Ticket in DirecTV satallite today, but I can't find the channels any more, except red zone. They aren't where they used to be. Anybody know where the game mix channels are now?
  18. He done. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's initial diagnosis says hamstring tendon partially tore off bone Published: Nov 06, 2024 at 06:08 PM Grant Gordon Dak Prescott's hamstring injury could potentially keep him on the shelf for longer than initially hoped. Prescott's initial diagnosis is that his hamstring tendon partially tore off the bone, which is known as a partial avulsion, NFL Network's Jane Slater reported on Wednesday. The recovery timeline for such an injury generally is more than four weeks, per Slater. Prescott currently is seeking additional opinions on his injury, Slater added. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that Prescott was likely headed to injured reserve, which would sideline him a minimum of four weeks. Cooper Rush is set to start for Dallas on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but if Prescott misses more than a month, it will be worth monitoring to see if Trey Lance, No. 3 on the depth chart, gets some run. Prescott, who agreed to a four-year, $240 million extension this season, has completed 64.7% of his passes for 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. Dallas (3-5) hosts Philadelphia (6-2) at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
  19. McCarthy never met Mingo, but he was one of their in-house pre-draft visit prospects. Weird... So they got two second round busts for the price of a 2 and a 4. Bargain!
  20. Cowboys say they are getting a 2 for the price of a 4, but that's bullshit. A 2 comes with a four year contract and a reasonable salary, not one that is half burned up. And Mingo was rated more of a 3rd or 4th rounder.
  21. I'm pretty OK with the Mingo trade if it were for one of their 5s, but a 4 is just too decent odds for a quality pick at certain less sexy positions that the Cowboys really need. They minimized their draft in a draft year that they need to add a lot of pieces that can play early. It's a huge wait from a top third 4 to a late fifth where it becomes more like throwing darts at a board. You go from a possible good prospect that fell a round due to just supply and demand at his position, to more likely a guy that is a project. I wouldn't have offered the 4. That said, I like the tools Mingo brings. Maybe a new coaching staff will be much better at developing receivers and utilizing talent.
