  1. I was even thinking going in the game today, under these circumstances they might be better off starting Cooper Rush. Play more conservative and tight, run the ball, probably would be less sloppy, have a better shot at winning a meaningless game.
  2. If Noah could make an over the head catch that's a TD. Too many players don't have that knack and feel any more, depend to much on the stickyass cheat gloves.
  3. Seems like it has been a long time since Turpin was good.
  4. I got this weird feeling the fecals and Cowboys both lose today.
  5. And he bumped his NFL regular season win total closer to .500, 92-100-1. Win-win for Lovie.
  6. Lovie had probably already gotten word he was getting shitcanned. LOL
  7. In that case, Chicago would trade the top pick for someone else to pick Bryce Young.
  8. I guess they're just going to ignore that safety call on the Jets as time expired.
  9. The Cowboys have their own problems. But they have generally bettered expectations, before they blow it in the first round of the playoffs.
  10. "We're going to win Bulgaria! Then were going on to Bolivia, Romania, Barbados and Austria...BLEAAHHHHGGG!!"
  11. No, I think they've had such a shitty roster situation to play with it's a miracle they were semi-competitive in as many games as they were, almost looking at times like a team that belongs in the bottom rung of the NFL. Nobody was going to win many games with these guys. Might as well roll with him one more season and get a roster more in place then look towards another probably high draft pick the following season and think about where things stand.
  12. Lovie has done a pretty good job under the circumstances. I would hate to see him not get another year with more talent.
  13. King's X turned me on to Drop D style in their early days. They were doing it as a regular thing, before other bands caught on and started to follow and tuned down lower and lower. I think it's great for a three piece band where it's easy to play that bottom rhythm thing while complimenting the stuff on the higher strings so you can sound much bigger, almost like two guitar players, if you do it right. It was also pretty easy figuring out a lot of their tunes. It's fun to jam around with, and then you can dip into some of that old low down stanky bluesy type stuff, too.
  14. No playoff game should be on Monday night then the survivor play on Saturday against a better rested team. They used to care about things like that but they don't give a rat's ass any more.
  15. One of the best kickass bands of the 2000s. Maybe they didn't WANT you to know about them. Hmmm...
  16. Now I'm thinking maybe I should just sell all my shit.
  17. Forgive the typos. This laggy wireless keyboard keeps pissing me off and typing shit I don't type. I need to get something else.
  18. NGD, at least for now. Not sure I'll keep it. Stupid deal early this week for the Squire Bullet Tele in Lake Placid Blue...allegedly. Crappy phone pic, and I haven't seen it in really good daylight because it was getting dark, but doesn't really look LP blue to my eyes, which was the only reason I bought it. But even worse, they did the bait and switch on the bridge. This one has the shitty top load stringer as opposed to the string-through-body on previous versions, like the butterscotch version I got in 2018. It looks nice, but not what I wanted. I was looking at some more recent youtube reviews and foudn out the newer Bullets have the shitty bridge and the newer Affinitiy have the real Tele type bridge, the exact opposite of what it was a year or two ago. When I saw that I tried to cancel the order berfore it shipped. I was told it was shipping from Guitar Center store 20 miles down the road and there for could not be cancelled. I had to wait and get it first. it was "Processing" for three freaking days before I got a tracking number, when I could have just drover of there the same day and picked the bitch up if the whole thing wasn't a total clusterfuck. It looks pretty nice otherwise. Indian Laurel definitely looks better than the shitty looking Pau Ferro they used on Fenders. The 3 position switch that people bitch about is actually quite smooth. The neck looks slightly thinner than my other Bullet Tele. It definitely sounds "plinkier" acoustically than the older, likely due to the shitty bridge. Haven't plugged it in. I was thinking, for the price maybe I should just keep it and take the small loss of $140. I could get rid of the crap fake tele bridge and slap a Bigsby type on it, then it could be kinda cool. Not sure I wanna mess with all that, though.
  19. He might be that hitting wise, but his defense is still suspect. He's going to be 28 in July, so should be in his prime years, but seems a bit late developing. If last year was a career year for him and he reverts back to his previous year averages we need better.
  20. Cedar waxwings are around in numbers lately. \
  21. I think it will be more on the defense to play like the dominant defense we see once in a while, wreaking havoc and causing turnovers. And combined with a productive running game.
  22. How deep do you think it would seep in? I would guess it's just barely, but I ain't spending my money on it. If nothing else worked, some super fine polish like Novus, flitz or Mequiars ultra finish would probably get it off and even make the guitar shinier without taking off a significant amount of coating. If I already owned a guitar that got accidentally marked I wouldn't worry much about it and just try the above remedies. But paying a substantial price for a guitar with that on it would be another thing.
