  1. These people need to be arrested.
  2. Only 1 miss. Great draft
  3. So far so good. The New York Times bestselling historian makes his historical fiction debut with an explosive novel set during the Hundred Years' War. July 1346. Ten men land on the beaches of Normandy. They call themselves the Essex Dogs: an unruly platoon of archers and men-at-arms led by a battle-scarred captain whose best days are behind him. The fight for the throne of the largest kingdom in Western Europe has begun. Heading ever deeper into enemy territory toward Crécy, this band of brothers knows they are off to fight a battle that will forge nations, and shape the very fabric of human lives. But first they must survive a bloody war in which rules are abandoned and chivalry itself is slaughtered. Rooted in historical accuracy and told through an unforgettable cast, Essex Dogs delivers the stark reality of medieval war on the ground - and shines a light on the fighters and ordinary people caught in the storm.
  4. I'm purposely avoiding this thread for my mental health but this is tangentially related and good news regarding the grid
  5. How long before he ends up on Outkick?
  6. I felt like he would've had a role but whatever. Young guys have gotta play now.
  7. It's the best. My favorite clip
  8. You're right. I said Harvest Fest but I meant Unity Concert at the end of S6.
  9. My St. Augustine got wiped out by TARR last year. I've let my neighbors Bermuda creep over and fill in. I still have some bare patches of dirt where nothing wants to grow. I'm *assuming* that's because the TARR is still in the soil. Could be wrong. What kind of fungicide should I use to deal with the TARR. Thx.
  10. I've researched PnR a few times all the way through. I 100% agree with what you said. They did maybe the best job since Cheers in bringing in new main characters and bit characters. My unpopular opinion is that Leslie's character become the least likeable the last couple of seasons. She's overbearing, manipulative and meddling. I did a complete 180 on her. Also , I thought the show should've ended with the Harvest Fest. That would've been a great finale. Didn't care for the last season.
  11. The later seasons are fine but you can tell the writing isn't as good. They've introduced extra characters that they didn't need. It's one of those shows for me that I didn't appreciate as much as I should've when it first came out. The jokes are subtle, funny and fast. Later on they start tipping their pitches. We all know about Sofia Vergara, but her comedic chops and timing are fantastic. It's worth a watch
  12. 30 R PnR Community / Modern Family HIMYM BBT We've been rewatching MF with my kids and the first 4 or 5 seasons is elite. Quick, smart funny. If it finished after S5 I'd have it above PnR.
  13. This fuckin guy Jack Lala Posted 2 hours Thanks Bobby! We're a University of the 1st class. Sometimes I think people forget that in this world of social media. If you're a Longhorn, act like it.
  14. There was a time that I cared about pregame shows, a lot. But that was a long time ago. I can't stand College Gameday or the Fox Big Noon. I got older and they got worse.
  15. If felt like S2 had a good ending that wrapped up everything. But I love this show so I'm happy for some more.
