I have noticed the record thing you brought up with various lineups of ours this season. It seems like short-term it is easier for the offense to operate when we are missing guys like Sochan or DV or whoever. They need to figure out how to all play together and that shit takes work and doesn't always result in winning basketball short-term.
In other news, The Ringer has Wemby #6 in their updated top-100 (https://nbarankings.theringer.com/) and acted like him over KD was a tough decision. I think that's fucking laughable. I'm an all-time KD fan but he's been meh this season - I think a more interesting discussion is does Vic need to be higher than 6.
Kid doesn't bring it every night quite yet and still puts up some offensive clunkers every once in awhile but he's averaging 4 God damn blocks per game, has cut his turns down and has improved from every spot on the floor shooting-wise including a huge jump from the line.
Jokic is a better player. Outside of that? Do I seriously think Vic instead of SGA on that OKC team wouldn't result in OKC still murdering fools? Do I think that Boston wouldn't be nasty built around Vic instead of Tatum?
To me, he is quickly outpacing the silly requisite # of years you need to play before we consider you one of the best. Call a spade a spade because the kid is a fucking spade and dragging a fairly dysfunctional roster and coaching-situatuon into serious playoff contention. (CP also deserves a lot of credit there)
