Their yards per play was higher against Ole Miss but they were a little better on 3rd down against Texas. Agree Kentucky played a tight, well-executed game vs Texas. So did Miss St for large stretches.
You can definitely attack this secondary. They can attack you back, though. McDonald and Muhammad both lay the wood for their positions and we are pretty good at picking balls off.
Muhammad was out against UF. Kentucky only threw for 258 on 39 throws against Texas. The main issue in that game was the offense couldn't stay on the fucking field. It's easy to put up close to total 400 yards when you run 86 god damn plays. I thought our LBs were bad in coverage that game, too.
I think our pass D with MM and Taaffe is better than '23.
Agree this D as a whole may be closer to '23s.
Guilbeau is a guy you want playing like 20 snaps off the bench.
It is what it is. Good players tend to hold teams together. When they are missing it makes everything look worse.
I was concerned about this secondary from the get go. They have played well when everyone is healthy - they're just too thin.
The DL meanwhile is turning into a bunch of fucking animals.
The D isn't as good as last season but it can still be very good. Hopefully a lot is shored up during the bye.
Gardner has been declining since his rookie season. Maybe he turns it around with Indy but 2 first rounders is a lot to give up - especially with how much they have to pay him.
They have coupons/deals on that stuff a lot. There's a version of the wrapped jalapeños that come as an app in the meal simple section as well as the ones in the styrofoam in the meat section.
I don't know what the exact mix is. Does it have arbol in it already?
I'd be careful with habañero but I've done it before. Serranos have nice heat.
I don't think any of those would change the flavor profile in a negative way.
This team is really fucking good and well-coached. Y'all just need to stay healthy-ish. A lot of good chemistry and selflessness out there already.
Sheppard may grow into being an okay PG but as of now a trade should still be on the table.
I know this one has been a little messy but the positives are really nice.
Having Durant helps a lot, too. You can leave Jalen Green open and live with the result. You can't leave Durant open.
The offensive rebounding/rebounding in general is also insane for this team. Zach Lowe yesterday said that with Adams and Sengun on the floor (think it was like 75 minutes total) the Rockets are rebounding 47% of their own misses.
Forty-seven percent.
