  1. That was on WIngo.
  2. I’m getting there too. Unfortunately.
  3. We are aiming for the most penalized team in SEC this season.
  4. Moving the ball better on their first drive than OSU did on theirs.
  5. Crappy punt
  6. Welp…
  7. Since the mid 1970’s.
  8. Bring back the name for real now!
  9. You haven’t seen anything. They play Langston next week followed by Texas Wesleyan.
  10. It’s interesting a fan from another fanbase sees the Oklahoma move to the SEC as a potential negative in the future. Some of us poke at OU for being the next Nebraska and it’s written up as rivals talking trash at each other. But as far as Nebraska being better off in the Big 12, you have a valid point now with Matt Rhule as their coach. In his short time at Baylor, he did build up good relationships with the Texas High Schools which even the last two Texas coaches before Sark failed miserably at doing.
  11. Feel better? Too bad we all know how this is going to end later today.
  12. Which 12 years? 2010 to 2022 or 1986 to 1998? Or both? 11 AM kick offs suck especially considering our home schedule is horrible. I was surprised though it will be on ABC vs the SEC Network or ESPN 2. I guess our cupcake game this week is the best of the cupcake games in the conference?
  13. I’m not on board to throw in the SEC Refs into the same category as the Rig 12 Refs as corrupt as heck. BUT there was ticky tacky crap going on in this game that swayed my mind something is going on. They missed all sorts of offensive holding on OSU and a real obvious one on defense on a throw to the end zone that even Joe Klatt was saying that should’ve been a hold. So my tin foil hat is on. 1) Some of the SEC Ref crews are still pissed about the UGA game bottle incident and when they get a chance they are going to stick it to us. 2) Some the same SEC Ref crews are good ol’ Southern boys who resent the hell the SEC has expanded 3) They went of their way to tale it easy on OSU so they wouldn’t be called Homers for the SEC team. Im not crossing my fingers we get the same treatment from BIG 10 refs in Austin next year
  14. Texas 54 SJSU 10 Rushing Yards 299
  15. Great job Wolverines! The Surly Carnac the Magnificent has spoken.
  16. Those two radio guys who come out on the SEC morning show on Mondays were having orgasms over Mateer.
  17. Any ranked FBS team playing an FCS school like Illinois State should’ve had at least 42 points by the mid 3rd quarter and pulling starters beginning with the QB regardless if this was his first start at his new school or not. But they got to pump Mateers numbers to make him sound like his a legit threat in the SEC.
  18. What a jackass assuming AI didn’t write his scribble. If that so, AI is a jackass. UTSA basically replaced their entire defense.
  19. Then last year they were just a one hit wonder. Back to their regularly scheduled suckage. We should be able to get plenty of people reps then. Even if they are against blah opponents, it helps.
  20. I forgot they play aggy Utah next week.
  21. I actually like our non conference next year. We got an up and coming Texas State who will be in the PAC 12 for what that is worth. Then Buckeye followed by UTSA who has exceeded most expectations as a new program going into its second decade. Moving forward I think you keep one of those two, a power 4 which we’ve already filled for the next four years with OSU, Michigan and Norte Dame and one of the group of fives. I will bet my bottom dollar that Bama, Tennessee, UGA etc are going to keep a slot open for a cupcake like Austin Peay, Mercer, Tennessee-Martin, etc. and claim it’s a regional matchup or something to justify keeping it to pump up the not too engaged fans.
  22. Norte Dame will absolutely truck aggy next week.
  23. San Jose state is not a total laughing stock as they were in the not so distant past. I mean they did go into OT last year against OU’s new Savior of a QB when he was leading Washington St in the PAC 2. But yea Sparty of San Jose shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I think? After yesterday I kind of wished we’d had played San Jose in game one and then Ohio State in game two much like we will next season when we open at home against Texas St and follow with the Buckeyes at home the following week. I understand the thinking about playing the fellow top tier team in game one to potentially make a statement out of the gate or see where you stack up. But on the other hand, the thinking about getting the rust out in a real game situation against an actual opponent is valid too. Unfortunately in the college ranks unlike high school, you don’t have the opportunity to scrimmage in August against someone else so that’s why I’ve always like reserving week two for that marque game.
  24. I’m surprised they still have a football program out there.
  25. If only A&M CC had a football team.
