  1. That’s a good point. I mean he could very well be playing this out too just in case something went down in Austin. I mean he’s probably not the only established HC or an aspiring one who is maybe going to wait it out except Franklin who is going to Virginia Tech because of the NFL rumor from a month ago. One thing we’ve got to remember is CDC plays his cards close to his vest. When we got Schloss from the aggys, no one saw that coming. Same to some extent with Miller and basketball.
  2. Generally you are correct. I think we’d be more forgiving if the product on the field was winning and losing the same way as far as scores, but we didn’t see all the other stuff such as the undisciplined play, the lack of prep, and just dumb game situation play calling. It could easily be written off and assigned to youth and inexperience at least early in the season and we would’ve expected to see progress by now. In this scenario we wouldn’t have close OT wins to MSU and UK and we certainly would’ve not lost to Florida. And the UGA game might have been a loss, but not the cluster fark it ended in.
  3. There has to be a SI cover like curse with our own football magazine in this state? Right? It took four years through for it to bite Jimbo though although he had an assist with good fortune during the COVID seasons.
  4. Go get Kiffin after the aggy game. Most thought he’d be committed by now and he’s not for some reason.
  5. It's kind of a cuts both ways issue. Do you take it hard now or take it harder later?
  6. Kirk Bohls actually asked a great question. Steve's reaction
  7. And you can disappear once your season ends and not have to really work until April. No Junior Days.. No daily strength and conditioning sessions. It's really a darn good gig especially if you already have money bags in your vault from the previous gigs.
  8. Part of the issue with Mack wasn't so much wasn't the BMD's. It was DeLoss who thought the program could still be operated like it was in the 1990's going into new century and decade. The media and recruiting landscape was changing all around us and he and the Department were still stuck on the "We're Texas" would bring in the recruits to all our programs and it didn't work. He thought the Longhorn Network and trying to be the Alpha Dog with money bags in the Rig 12 would carry us through the next decade with Mack in charge would work and it was a spectacular failure
  9. The fact Indiana is being discussed for a national championship in football when in not so distant past, their fan base and media would be fully engaged in thump thump season right now and we are talking about hanging up the cleats a week from Saturday and waiting for the Cheez it Bowl or worse is all we need to know about the status of our program. Fricken Indiana.... Beam me up!
  10. It could be more of a way to get the discussion going further about how in the last two games, the SEC Refs have tried to put their thumbs on the flow of the game. Again this isn’t so much about in the UGA about the penalties we committed although a couple of them were ticky tacky BS when compared to the on film documented calls that even Herbie and Chris thought were missed and were not called on UGA.
  11. This is spot on.. 100% spot on.
  12. Yep. Maybe one of the $9.95 er’s will finally sack up and ask why this team was so ill prepared after a week off in today’s press conference? This should be asked along with a further explanation about what he saw was fantastic about our running game at halftime. Might want to also ask why they didn’t prepare for the stacked deck officiating we knew would be in front of us too.
  13. Flood under Saban probably knew he couldn’t just be a yes man and cruise on the job. Ultimately Saban made the final decisions, but he ran his system like a damn good CEO does and takes input from all angles and then makes a decision. If you are not contributing to those ideas, a CEO will notice this and push you down to paper pushing status and in the coaching world that means just becoming a side note in the game program. Flood under Sark is obviously not being challenged the same way.
  14. Saban and Sark are no way the same.
  15. Flood should be the first one to go. Of all the coaches that have Sark’s ear for which he is one, he should’ve been sounding the alarm bells about the lack of experience on our Oline and he didn’t. Either this or he was shot down by Sark which means Sark needs to go first.
  16. Something is just waaaayyyyy off with Sark. I just have to go back to his comments at halftime when he said our run game was doing well. I could understand him saying something maybe not completely in line with what was seen with the defense and being wrong. But he’s calling the offense so he should absolutely know if something is not working.
  17. True that. I forgot about it because of the crap sandwiches served since then.
  18. The board is crashing because this season has been a shit show since game one. We have a coach that has his head up his ass and is nothing to see here. I’ll paraphrase as Exhibit A from last night. ‘We are running the ball fine.” When we were hardly running the ball and we ended the game 23yards rushing We lose to Arky and aggy, hold my beer… This was a bad loss. The loss to Florida was a bad loss. The wins have all been horrible wins.
  19. That would be interesting 🤔
  20. None of them. But if I had to pick one them, it would be the team that has the best chance to take out the SEC early, especially aggy and OU.
  21. I’ve posted this, CDC in the last two years since Sark was hired has pulled the plug on two coaches who regressed in two consecutive seasons with that being Terry and Pierce. I’d like to think he has the street creed now to do the same with football today if he had to because he senses something is not right with the program such as complete disengagement from Sark. Or next season if this is a rinse and repeat of this season? The question this is timing and if another half dozen of so schools in the Power four start firing their coaches by the end of September. I mean who else as of today might be on the hot seat next year at this time or earlier. Dabo if he gets a stay at Clemson or doesn’t jump voluntarily before then? Burnt Veggies at OU? FSU doesn’t look like they are going to make a change as of now? There is three potential schools right there we could be in competition for a new coach next year.
