  1. Spot on. This is some 2006 Dwayne Wade bullshit on steroids. And so much of this doesn't show up on the stat sheet. Once these teams see how it's being called, they change the approach. And SGA gets easier paths and shots because the defense is playing softer because they know any little contact gets called. The way he seeks out contact and embellishes contact is terrible basketball. And it goes beyond just him. Go watch the playoffs last year for OKC. They were allowed to play a completely different game vs their opponent. This allowed them to go on big runs, shoot higher percentages because they get easier looks. Denver was very close to going up 2-0 going back home but Scott Foster stepped in to tie that series. And they also gave him the assignment for game 7. Aside from OKC fans, the overwhelming majority of fans have the same feelings on this OKC team. They are the product of NBA manufacturing. So many down play it until their own team has to face them in a playoff series and you see it day after day. I saw this in 2024 when Dallas played them round 2. Luckily, Luka and Kyrie were able to overcome the ref fuckery. But in 2025, it seemed it ramped up even more.
  2. I'll always trade for someone proven with a lot of talent in exchange for someone who may never pan out. Luka instantly elevates this team.
  3. Wentz is a terrible QB.
  4. Lmao. Just keeps getting better. I am sure this is only the tip of the iceberg. The only question is, how much can the NBA keep hidden.
  5. It's 2025, are we still judging ref bias strictly by the calls on paper? Lol. WAY more that goes into ref bias than strictly the calls on paper. For one, the no calls don't show up at all. Did you actually watch these games? Foster let OKC get away with much more on both ends of the court. Touch fouls called on Denver, while OKC was allowed to abuse Jokic all game. This causes the course of the game to slowly change and when a team sees this is happening, their approach can change. You think he got this reputation and nicknames on accident? He was directly linked to Tim Donaghy and still refs 2 decades later and players know exactly how a game will unfold just by seeing him in the ref assignments. But yes, nothing to see here from a league who is yet again in a gambling scandal.
  6. Yep, Scott Foster is still reffing big time games today, even has the moniker of the Series Extender. Players speak openly about seeing him in the refs assignment and tell us exactly how the game will go down and sure enough, it does. He was heavily involved in the Denver/OKC series, reffing in 2 critical games, game 2 and 7. Both went the same way. heavily slanted towards OKC. And really, it isn't him personally. He just completes the task the NBA wants and does it well. Tells me all I need to know about this league and how un-serious they are to beat these corruption scandals. They don't give a shit as long as the viewers and advertisers stick around.
  7. Disagree. Absolutely nothing came from the Tim Donaghy scandal. They just made him the fall guy, swept it under the rug and moved forward. Nothing has changed at all in the NBA since then. At all. Can't see much coming from this, either. I wish it wasn't the case but with all these sports promoting gambling hard, this isn't any surprise.
  8. Nope because at the time, we had no idea we'd be getting Flagg. NBA rigs the drafts and they did it for us. It was a god awful trade, fuck Nico. He had zero to do with getting Flagg.
