  1. Herbert is still a loser as usual.
  2. This game reminds me a lot of the Texas Georgia SEC Championship. You let a team hang around enough, they can find a way to take control and that Houston did. Stroud isn't as good as last year but he can still get hot and beat you. Chargers have no one on offense that scares you.
  3. Never stop being you, Chargers. The whole end of that half was a clusterfuck in every facet.
  4. Where are you throwing it?
  5. All of that and only up 6-0. I've seen this movie plenty of times before.
  6. Yep. I didn't even drown my sorrows last night or stress over it. Woke up about 830am, started laundry, had a good breakfast and watched some nature shows on Max. I drank a lot of water and then had coffee. My fiancee and I finished the Yellowstone series. Very sunny today and all this snow is melting here up near Dallas. Been cleaning all day listening to music. Sports losses don't phase me like they used to. Life goes on. NFL playoffs crank up today and that's always great entertainment if that's your thing.
  7. That run call on 3rd was dumb
  8. This wasn't called holding but we got a flag for pointing at a guy. Howard was about to get lit the fuck up on this 3rd down. He had the ball out and could have easily been a huge strip sack. The extra time allowed a guy to get open and they wasted half the quarter and got 7 and flipped this whole game. Texas was starting to get home on him up to this point.
  9. I know one thing, Sam would be able to bulldoze his way into the endzone from the 1 given 4 tries. Also, the defense would have the respect him running and playing accordingly. Something they didn't have to do with Quinn. Not to mention, he can escape pressure and a play isn't dead just because of pressure like Quinn.
  10. And to argue with strangers about Quinn Ewers...
  11. Quinn didn't take us back to the CFP. The defense did. He did everything he could to try and stop that from happening, see aggy game. The defense saved that game. Quinn lost to every quality opponent he faced this year. And by quality, I mean CFP quality, not regular season good. We all knew you can get away with inconsistent play against junk SEC teams or Clemson/Arizona St. Won't happen once you face someone of quality. Ohio St made him pay for how inconsistent he was. All 1st half, he missed passes. He missed a huge pass to start the 4th qtr on 3rd down that completely changed the landscape of the game.
  12. But you have to have a guy who can extend plays and get away from pressure. Quinn doesn't do this at all. In fact, he does the opposite. He's a statue that self sacks himself even on plays with little to no pressure. You don't need a VY or Vick at all. But you are at a big disadvantage if your QB is as immobile as Quinn
  13. Let's start with Quinn's miss on the 3rd and 5 to start the 4th. This flipped the game in my eyes. We had all the momentum at that point. Quinn sails a pretty easy completion and the rest is history. Ohio State gets it back and drains over half the quarter and scores. If he completes that and we keep moving, we have a chance to really start to take control of this game.
  14. Technically, he did see it against Georgia and brought in Arch. But for whatever reason, brought back Quinn. And after that, he was never going to turn back on that decision. I don't think anyone would have really second guessed him going away from Quinn at that point. He never progressed to the hype he had and took a step back from last year.
  15. Don't forget the 4th and 2 and we are playing defensive alignment like it's 4th and 12 and allow a QB draw for a huge gain. This is coming out of a timeout too. But yeah, the end of the 1st half was the biggest kick in the nuts you can have. Sucked all momentum from us.
  16. Yep that's what it comes down to. 2 years in a row in the same exact situation and you come up with 0 points combined. Terrible play calling both years.
  17. Ummm but he was on the field earlier in the game on a 4th down call and he ran it. Why not bring him in there?
  18. Meh. Could have easily won both. We won none largely due to incompetent coaching.
  19. Leave Arch in the Georgia game. Quinn never sees the field again. We are playing next week.
  20. Toss play 7 yards behind the los at the 1? Lol
  21. I feel you. I've been on Quinn all year long. And for good reason. Now let's take a long hard look at Sark. He's a huge liability in these games.
