  1. I’m slowly, painfully coming to the conclusion that we don’t all ‘become better’ or evolve to some higher plane of enlightenment. I’m a reasonably successful and semi-worldly, educated man in my late 40s who is somehow still extremely hoarse from drunkenly screaming “The moment’s too big for you, DeBoer, you bungling piece of shit!!!!!!” And “Fuck you, refs!!!! They’re not in the Big 10 yet!!!!!!” Sigh.
  2. Can’t wait to beat a Maalik-led USC in next year’s CFP title game.
  3. reminds me of when, I think Kellen Mond was redshirting(?) and someone asked fat Looch if Mond gave him Vince Young vibes. Billy goes “I wouldn’t insult him or put limitations on him like that but he does remind me of real peerless QB legend….” then he plays it out for a few beats to build dipshit suspense, and the guy that turns out to be universes better than VY in Billy’s mind was Reggie McNeal…
  4. This is one of those times when some of your aggy acquaintances will get almost creepily introspective and go all “life is about more than some game with a goofy-shaped ball… Go hug your kids. Take that vacation. Start a new hobby and learn life is about balance…. and knowing your education from one of the finest and most respected institutions of higher learning has set you up for life.”
  5. I don’t think aggy realizes that Strength of Schedule is essentially a quantifiable, established - and super-easy to identify - stat nowadays. or, it just fits there MO of denial and making shit up. Georgia, for example, could’ve played a halfway decent out of conference schedule and maybe only slipped to #4 with that one close-ish CCG loss, but that’s not what happened.
  6. Kelce throwing a semi Hook ‘Em in the one pic
  7. Is a month enough time to develop an elite secondary? I hope so. LET’s GO WIN IT ALL!
  8. Wish he could have been mic’d up 🤣
  9. I find I’m so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it’s an excitement only a long-suffering fan who has survived a brutal 15 years can feel, a fan at the start of a long journey into a new conference with great depth, coaching and recruiting. I hope the team makes it across the border into the CFP. I hope the team lifts another national championship trophy. I hope to watch them win again in person this season as I raise my hand to Hook ‘Em. I hope.
  10. I never wanted to look past the CCG but now that we have 12 wins and a conference championship, a two-game season and a shot at making this a legendary, immortal run just feels right. This team is special.
  11. Maalik has now played in CCG Just be ok, #3
