  1. You racism yarns are more clever. Stick to that. Tell us another story about white privilege.
  2. Kenyans know there are not 57 states.
  3. Seriously? They're too addicted to having brown people mow their mansions and scrub their toilets for less than minimum wage.
  4. I definitely want our nation defended by dudes too scared to use the men's room.
  5. The good news is that the Lee pedestal is being removed today, so focused on the important stuff. I suspect $200K could have fixed a few potholes.
  6. Just to piss you off more ... I really enjoyed The History of the Great War podcast. Not as slick and less analysis than Carlin but more detail.
  7. Chuckle. The last gasps of a failed position ... the dreaded Troll Card. Funny coming from someone who just got trolled by fake news reporting fake outrage driven by a fake veteran. Tell us more ... what windmills shall we tilt tomorrow?
  8. What is white grievance? Is that another one of your outrage oxys?
  9. Amigo ... you have to update your Internet debate handbook. You're basically are running the Wing-T, but this is not 1999. It was novel on BBS 2.1.3, but now it just feels unimaginative.
  10. That cop needs to spend the rest of his life in prison ... that's murder plain and simple.
  11. Oh look, another Race Card ... how original. You have got to try harder.
  12. Is trolling now like "racist" where you define it as anyone who disagrees with you? I do love me some straw men ... tell me more about how I'm angry and I'll show you another windmill.
  13. I agree ... white privilege is just so out of control. They should wear little yellow stars and get numbered. I mean, look at how this privileged see you next tuesday harassed an actual veteran. I remember the huge CNN and social media outrage at how disrespectful she was. I'm sure you expressed a bunch of outrage on here about it.
  14. Agreed ... seems like virtually all historians agree not if but when, especially with Billy and his boats antagonizing the Brits. I think one of the myriad cultural transformations that existed in 1914 but not 1915 was this idea that war was a game played by aristocrats for (relatively) minor spoils ... a low cost (to the aristocrat) option, almost a sport. Two of Vicky's grandkids certainly reevaluated if that was a game worth playing.
  15. The Race Card has not had such a rough month since Duke lacrosse. Between this, the tragedy in Houston, and another gem from CNN, it may be time to redefine racism again. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/01/16/areva-martin-cnn-analyst-accuses-black-radio-host-white-privilege/2590841002/
  16. Having nerded out on the Great War for several years, I had a sense of the conditions, but seeing it was remarkable. I particularly liked the comments of the veterans about the Bavarians view of the Prussians. I continue to contemplate the fact that the most important conflict of the 20th Century was fought over the most ludicrous of reasons by men who had no real animosity toward their enemy and launched buy bumbling buffoons who could have stopped it with a modicum of common sense. To be fair, virtually everyone thought it would be over by Christmas but still ... I have always gotten the sense that by Christmas 2015 all but a few politicians and generals gladly would have called "mulligan." One veteran talked about it in the film, but since I first read the story years ago, I still tremble when I think about the soldiers who stepped off the wood planks and literally sunk and drowned in the mud. In the book, one veteran recounts seeing a young soldier stuck get stuck in the mud walking out and him almost completely submerged on his way back to the trench later in the day.
  17. If I wanted to know more about the Hitler Youth, I'd spend more time in the Cloak Room ...
  18. Thanks for the recommendation. I really enjoyed the Double Loop episodes on the case. Their insight was excellent, and I really LOL about the one gentleman's story about engaging Reddit and getting banned from the innocence group. They seem very even handed and let the evidence speak, so not really surprised the passionate innocence folks could not handle it.
  19. I think I caught the last show in Dallas. Amazing piece of work.
  20. That seriously is the most clever thing you could come up with? I mean it is one thing to act like a cocksucker on an anonymous web site, but at least bring a little intellectual weight to the conversation.
  21. I have not watched season two, but the first season similarly was akin to only hearing one side of the case. I don't blame Zellner - her job is to throw out 1,000 random assertions and hope that enough stick to cast enough doubt with the jury of public opinion, which she hopes will influence the courts. She's knows how to manipulate the Twitter generation and a jury. What does seem clear across many true crime cases is one can hire an expert to say just about anything. Obviously not a scientist, but continues to make me scratch my head that two experts can come to opposite conclusions on forensic evidence.

    Cowboys: QB 2019

Oddly, when he's got good protection and plenty of time, it seems like he missed easy passes to wide open receivers. When he's pressured and making throws on the run, he tends to look like Joe Montana. Not a good option when you (when healthy) have a great O-line. Maybe he over-thinks it and is better off on instinct.

    Cowboys: QB 2019

Would anyone try and sign Foles, let Dak go, and look to draft a QB in the next couple of years? Just not sold on Dak as the answer.
