They did offer him. Probably wasn't committable.

Ah, well they certainly weren't pushing for him. Definitely not committable by the end of the year (pretty sure he had academic red flags).

Think I found the issue.
To be fair, it sounded like FWK wanted him to stick around. Toneil apparently has an older brother who's been pushing him to transfer since he's not starting and he wants a piece of that hypothetical NFL money.

What has he done to show a lack of maturity? I haven't seen his name in the news for misconduct.
Word is he was a pretty petulant character at practice when he got moved down the depth chart for constantly fumbling. His trainer (Footwork King, for those who follow recruiting) was subtweeting him about it.

For what it is worth...... Doubt Texas clears a transfer for Mike Williams to LSU since Horns play them in 2019 and 2020
They didn't offer him the first go-round, and now he's damaged goods that will have to sit a year. No way they take him.

No surprise. All the talent in the world, and none of the maturity.

Some of you act like Texas is the only path to success in life.
If he’s gone for family reasons there’s a good chance he’ll end up playing somewhere closer to home and be just fine. If only there were a college with a decent football team for him near Baton Rouge.
Lol yeah they're going to take a kid who they didn't offer out of high school and who quit on his previous team with minimal notice.
He's probably going to Southern or ULM/ULaLa.

word we cant use our coeds/thots as a selling point either anymore its time to make it rain $$$ worse thing that can happen is a bowl ban
Uh, UT is doing just fine in that department. Not quite Ole Miss level, but that's what happens when the bar for admission is above "can you count to potato."

Don't care. He never would have played a down at Texas. He'll at least see the field at Baylor
Ehhh, he's a good athlete who could have pushed for snaps at WR or DB. It's the need to play QB and the sneaky trip to Baylor that caused the split.

I hate when you post this .gif. Such a bitch face.
You need your girl to have this in her arsenal for when idiots try to inflict themselves on her. It is known.

Odds that we miss on his recruits, he doesn’t get JMU job, and we can’t get rid of him?

On a happier note, more of Roschon making that 1st grade class' day in Port Neches (Also good lord, Mrs. Sartin's got extremely good genes based on her two daughters in her prof pic)

said it elsewhere, but this class has been one step forward, two steps backward since the start of December.
Well, numbers-wise it's going to start walking forward again one way or another next week.

Great, I’m sure we’ll be right on that.
Lets hope tomorrow is better than today. Today sucked.
One silent commit, one decommit, one player skipping town. May we all live interesting lives.

what family issue?
Nothing specific, but when he was being recruited it sounded like he lived with his coach for a while and his family is beyond dirt poor. Single mother, too, if I recall. Also has a much younger brother (the little kid in the picture)
Now Gerald Wilbon has a very similar situation (his dad's been in prison his whole life), so it's not like it's impossible to make it out, but still.

Sounded like he had a tough family situation, but this is not the way to handle it, bud.

The thought of Washington possibly flipping and like you said bru not being likely, which leaves us with,
Smith, Whittington and Lewis(?) going into the new year. That’s not too good.
We'll see if they run after someone like Anderson or Ellis, or if they settle for 3 WRs and go big next year.

And picks coming in for Powell to Baylor.
I guess we'll just trade Kennedy Lewis with them. If Powell's been lying to the staff and is dying to be a QB, whatever.

Another schollie comes open. Not sad about this one.
If he was committed to being a DB, he was a good 'un. Seems deadset on a real shot at QB, though.

lol bai, what an odd recruitment

Once you get away from the cities, New Jersey ain't too bad. It's kind of pretty out there.
Yeah, the Delaware River Gap and the Pine Barrens are good for kayaking. The suburbs around Montclair and Summit are great if you can afford them.
