While I'm not worried this far out, I do find the perceived monumental change in recruits decisions and opinions after one weekend very peculiar. I truly wonder what Aggy and OU coaches are telling these kids because this is something I don't think I've ever encountered with so many recruits seemingly flipping opinions all in one shot.
Time to counter-punch.
We conceded the weekend since they both had spring games. This weekend will be big time for us.

It wouldn't be the surl without a mid-April meltdown about a silent commit who wants to take more visits.

Attendance... well it could be better

Roach and EJ CB'ed Tongue to Texas.
LB recruiting is going to be interesting this cycle. Tongue would be a really good Rover LB.
He's a guy ctj has implied has been recruiting himself to UT as much as the other way around if I recall correctly.

Deerfield Beach always seems to have solid talent. OU is good at building those national pipelines.

Loy from ND247 says he has doubts Watson even OVs to ND and that Kelly is probably about to send out his backup offers at CB.

Oh, lordy. Lincoln Riley tweeting three sets of eyes after these guys popped. I think we're looking at 5-6 commitments this weekend.
If you want to keep filling up on (talented) players that aren't in UT's plans, keep right on trucking.
I do think Morris might have been a take for us, but he never really seemed all that into UT.

Told y'all. Fuck off EJ you fucking twat. There isn't a person following recruiting at even a cursory level that didn't know Wease was going to OU, and that Henderson was going to go where Wease went. You fucking stupid assbag. ZOMG JAMAL MORRIS IS GOING TO OU AS WELL!! everyone brace yourselves for EJs inside info.
ZOMG indeed

...I guess some of his subs are actually getting their panties in a bunch about the WRs

Also... Morris maybe?

Based on reports, this kid's as much of a Sooner personality match as Stogner

He's the adequate replacement for Wilson, now that Wilson appears to be trending away from Texas. He's not as good as Wilson, but he's an inside/outside guy who can win all over the field. Of course, it appears that the Jake Smith recruitment will be a very competitive one, but at least he's visiting for a second time, and will likely OV later.
Uh, isn't Smith a slot and Wilson an outside guy? Also we still have Wilson's last OV.

Welp. Time to keep recruiting baller DBs.
OU's struggle isn't going to be landing those two, it's going to be keeping them eligible and enrolled.

Both if those responses indicate that they believe there are numerous other factors in play where Nd has an advantage. I wonder what they think they are, other than maybe job opportunities in Chicago.
Eh, ND does have more national cred than UT. If he wants to work in NY or SF for example. That said, sounds like Nana is fine staying closer to home.

It really looks like they should reorient the field so that the biggest blocks of stands are along the sidelines instead of the end zones. Dumb.
Well as I understand it, if they'd been willing to build the stadium next to the current space they could have had a perfectly excellent modern venue.
But obviously moving the field would ruin their traditions so that got vetoed and the Donkey Kong stands were retrofitted around the old field instead.

Dylan Wright visited ND over Easter and was pretty meh about it. Tom Loy (ND247) thinks he's recruiting Nana to Texas.
