  1. He means Myron Charles (and Jonah, not Josiah, Williams)

  4. I think our last Fighting Farmer was Denzel Okafor.
  5. Nah. We'd have liked him but apparently he legitimately really liked Norman and also liked the path to playing time a lot more. We're about to get Nick Brooks, which fills the same need. DB and DT have been the positions people have actually worried about this cycle.
  6. @HenryJames beat me to the punch on this "masterpiece"
  7. It's not just us. They love A&M's opponents this year pretty much across the board. Texas schedule by their rankings: UGA: 2 @Michigan: 7 OU (neutral): 19 @Texas A&M: 23 Florida: 40 Kentucky: 59 UTSA: 60 @Arkansas: 62 Colorado State: 73 Miss State: 83 @Vandy: 104 ULM: 134 Texas A&M schedule by their rankings: Texas: 4 Notre Dame: 8 Mizzou: 12 LSU: 15 @Florida: 40 @South Carolina: 42 @Auburn: 45 Arkansas: 62 Bowling Green: 68 @Miss State: 83 NMSU: 126 McNeese St.: NR
  8. Why would they be any more likely to be in the portal?
  9. Same artist. Nevada and NC State have the same duplicate issue with UNR's vintage logo. https://www.homefieldapparel.com/blogs/homefield-history/art-evans-college-mascot-sailor-hats
  10. Michigan doing every school in Texas a favor by taking this bundle of character concerns off the board
  11. Hah, I was wondering! Feel free to start Week One next week
  12. My brother went to Nashville for a game said it was the worst group of fans he saw in his time at Ole Miss outside of Baylor in the Sugar Bowl. Bunch of unfriendly (although good looking at least) Long Island and Connecticutians who showed up, took a couple social media pics and left. And Vandy wasn't bad that year, they even won the game!
  13. "Honey that might be the spring game date." "Is that a real game?" "No it's a fancy practice that kids and weird diehards attend." "Yeah, I'm not moving it."
  14. It's 72 degrees in North Carolina and fall is in the air (apparently not in Texas yet, yikes), and that means college football is BACK this Saturday. We have one potentially spicy upset early, a fun matchup with a lot of familiar faces, and some Sickos content around them. 12 ET / 11 CT: #10 Florida State vs Georgia Tech (in Dublin, Ireland) - ESPN Florida State is probably overranked. Georgia Tech is probably underrated. They're playing in Dublin (this made way more sense when Notre Dame consistently played in it) and it's going to get weird. 4 ET / 3 CT: Montana State @ New Mexico - FS1 A really good FCS program against a really bad FBS program. What makes this fun? It's Bronco Mendenhall's head coaching debut at UNM. That dude can coach. 8 ET / 7 CT: SMU @ Nevada - CBS Sports Like a lot of weird marriages, the Ponies kick off their ACC membership in Reno with a trip to see Jeff Choate's boys. Lots of ex-Texas players and prospects in this one. It's like the ghosts of recruiting threads past: SMU: Moochie Dixon, David Abiara, Billy Walton, Isaac Pearson, Gabriel Lozano /// Camar Wheaton, Deuce Harmon, LJ Johnson, Jonathan McGill, Ashton Cozart, Derrick McFall, Omari Abor, Savion Byrd, PJ Williams. They also have a Chinese player from Zhangjiagang Ivy Experimental, which must a real powerhouse in the Suzhou high school league. UNR: Kitan Crawford, Savion Red, Ky Woods, Kris Ross 12 ET / 11 CT: Delaware State @ Hawaii - Team1 App True Sickos content. I only bring it up because it's already starting off really well:
  15. We did get Sharma, who was not cheap, on top of our two edges.
  16. Ex-5 star Malachi Nelson lost the QB battle at Boise State. What a bust. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/what-boise-state-naming-maddux-madsen-starter-over-former-5-star-malachi-nelson-means-for-broncos-nelson/amp/
  17. The Panhandle has an interesting history if you're into that era of history. Texas gave it up to enter to Union as a slave state (woof), it was one Grover Cleveland signature away from being part of Kansas, a bunch of land squatters tried to get it turned into the state of Cimarron, then it finally got attached to Oklahoma. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_panhandle
  18. Only on ESPN. Not a consensus 5-star by any stretch. https://www.on3.com/db/dia-bell-152445/
