Would an all burnt orange ensemble appeal to anyone as an option when playing aggy and/or 0u at home?

Of course, it doesn't improve jersey sales, but...

Edwards. I feel like Edwards was the biggest one because it feels like we put a lot of eggs in that basket for the running back position, and we seemed to be in good shape right up until he committed to A&M and canceled his visit. It also felt like a great fit in terms of skill set and how Sarkisian uses the running back position in his offense.

But there have been a few not go our way recently, for sure. Not concerned, but I'm a bit chagrined about it all. My feeling at this point is it's all going to work out okay. Just have to be patient. Which is not my strong suit. I want immediate gratification, and I want it now!

    He already mentioned Edwards

I’m not tracking why this was the worst weekend in recruiting in a while is that because some running back committed to Aggie that we’re gonna flip at the end of the year? What else did I miss?

Roseborough to A&M, Quinn to Clemson, Lott to not-us.

Nothing super awful in there but it's a lot of targets out in a week.

Honestly, this might be one of our "worst" weeks in recruiting this year or last year.  And you know what, I give zero fucks.  We are in on lots of big names.  We get some.   Some chose to go elsewhere for various reasons.  The NIL rules this year is going to result in even more fuckery right now than there has been in prior years.

I have faith that Sark and his support staff and the alumni who are contributing to NIL will do just fine by the end of the year.  I have faith they will close just fine come December.

This isn't Mack Brown where we "need a win" in recruiting because he is working so hard on the trail and we don't have a big name recruit on board yet.

Would I prefer some of the promising football players commit here instead of other schools?  Sure.  Do I care because Aggie got a player or two ?  Or (in my best coke head Luicci) Fat Elko won head to head against Sark for the two bestest high school players in the history of ever these last few weeks sending shockwaves through the entire universe that Aggie football is back to where it never left.

Win some lose some.  We will be just fine.

I'd say last year's bonfire of the DT board was a worse week. We can't really be stressed over RB and edge, and Bell winning the Elite 11 was a nice day.
