  1. How do they think the depth in the interior is coming along?
  2. I have loved the strides heā€™s made since 2021. There wasnā€™t a ton of people, myself included, that could have predicted what heā€™s done so far. With that said, I think he seems better when out there with Sweat/Murphy. He can still struggle in holding up in the run game against a decent Oline. Right now heā€™s at his best on passing downs. Iā€™m not sure how well we would hold up next year with him and Trill being the main guys, especially if Collins decides to leave. The thing is tho, Broughton has gotten better each year so whoā€™s to say he canā€™t take that next step in the run game in ā€˜24.
  3. That last bullet point is a total cluster fuck
  4. At times Ewers struggles with the deep ball but I think we all should recognize that he elevates his receivers with his arm strength, a la the deep outs from the opposite hash. Worthy is a damn good route runner and sells that particular route really well, but it means nothing if he doesnā€™t have a QB that can make the throw consistently.
  5. The argument that Ewers is only looks good because of the talent surrounding him can basically be said about all the current top teams outside of Daniels, Maye and Williams (heā€™s cooled of here recently tho). Penix is a 6th year guy and has a super talented wr core around him and a good RB. Nix is also 30 years old and leads the nation with 65%(!!!) of his passing yards coming after the catch. Michigan didnā€™t throw a pass last week after the half, Ewers could do that. Iā€™ve seen nothing from the Florida st, Ohio st or Georgia QBā€™s that screams elite. Does Ewers need to get better in some areas of his game if he wasnā€™t to succeed at the next level? Yes. But the notion that he canā€™t continue to progress is absurd. Heā€™s night and day different from last year. Itā€™s funny that the same people who were done with him last year and screaming for Malik are now spouting we should move on and let Arch take the keys.
  6. The race definitely made up for the lackluster feeling I had. That was a fun race to watch. Surprise result from Ocon.
  7. Everything leading up to this race has felt manufactured or just simply not executed well and itā€™s missing that ā€œrace feel.ā€ The drivers seem like they want this to be over with already.
  8. Ewers and the Oline were trying to see who could fuck up the worst in the first half. Kudos to both for getting it together for the second half. Ewers made some nice throws and Oline blocked excellent down the stretch.
  9. Thatā€™s a gutsy win..fuck yeah! Hookā€™em šŸ¤˜
  10. Dumb. Lsu fan calls Omaha their ā€œnorth campusā€ although Texas has appeared the most at 39 times. Also, could you imagine if Texas or any other blue blood baseball program had the owner of a baseball company be an alumnus? If Lsu doesnā€™t have the number 1 class for extended part of the future, thereā€™s a problem.
  11. Or itā€™s because FSU is objectively a better job than aggie.

    9-1

I just went back and checked and his 2018 class, which was the 3rd ranked class, was extremely top heavy with skill guys compared Sarks. His Oline recruiting was never anything to write home about and it was coached by Hand which made it even worse. The dline was good but a lot of the guys were projects with Sweat being the only lower rated guy that came in way above expectations. Coburn was highly rated and was a Herman guy. I think Coburn, Ojomo and Collins were his only true big signs that panned out with the rest fading. Maybe NIL would have helped change that. But the notion that NIL can make a coach better isnā€™t all the way true. We just watched a guy for 3 years straight up buy the best dline and they havenā€™t done anything of substance in terms of wins. You still have to develop and put players in positions to win.

Something Herman didnā€™t have was NIL. He also didnā€™t recruit the trenches at all. Sark has those two things and an actual staff that can develop.
  14. Crawford is slow in the sense that he doesnā€™t know what to do. Itā€™s why heā€™s so damn good at covering kick offs and punts. See ball, get ball and stay in your lane.
  15. I guess a silver lining in all the close wins is that for the majority of them we are not getting lucky after the ball is snapped. Texas finally has the playmakers to win games at the end. AD last night, and Sweat/Murphy last week to name a few. Now, if they could keep the switch turned on for 4 quarters then it would make all of our lives much easier on Saturdays.
  16. Crawford shouldnā€™t see the field. He takes horrible angles of pursuit. Brooks and Ford were bad there as well but Crawford has to find a way to get him down.
  17. Except Sark is not asking them to be Tom Brady back there, just hit Whitt wide open on the underneath and continue the drive.
  18. Itā€™s kind of why Iā€™m not hell bent on Sark completely crumbling in the second half. It was right there for Ewers and he just completely missed it.
  19. May be an overstatement but on the 3 & 6 with just under 3 min to play in the 3rd quarter, if Ewers dumps it off to wide open Whitt for the first instead of trying to hit Worthy deep, we probably end up scoring on that drive and the game is iced at 33-13 heading into the 4th.
  20. I dunno man, most are just being mad/over dramatic about recent events while youā€™re stating that this hasnā€™t been fun in well over a year.
  21. The secondary being shitty for large stretches, particularly at safety, and the offensive line being absolute pussies on short yardage does not help at all. Add in Sark not knowing when to be aggressive, and this is what itā€™s going to be like from the rest of the way.
