I think Pierce has done a good job of finding guys that can step up. A part of it is development as well. Off the top of my head CQ, Murphy and if the reports are true then hopefully Campbell this year. The potential problem is we need more than previous years, which doesn’t help but I could see guys like Duplantier, LBJ, Ace, and the freshman showing out a little over the half way point of the season. It’s going to be a year of growth but should be fun one where we make some noise.
Never thought we were going to see that much of a difference from him, especially with Bijan and Rojo being out. His issues are going to need a full offseason for us to see a difference.
Need some input here. My buddy is moving to a new apartment complex and there’s no grilling allowed. Luckily I get to keep the pellet smoker at my place for the time being. I got a beef tenderloin to smoke tomorrow and was wondering if y’all had any advice for seasoning options, temps, time etc. the smoker is a pit boss. Thanks.
I would like to preface this by saying I am more interested in seeing actual statistics than forming an opinion to support a side for this thread. Hopefully this helps.
I got this quote from regular website but I’ll attach the research papers abstract at the bottom. I don’t have jstor or any other academic journal sites that may have access to full study.
“Our research shows that threats to make false accusations are common in situations where women perpetrate violence against men. 73% of men who experienced female-perpetrated violence reported that their partner threatened to make false accusations versus less than 3% of males in the general population. Among men who experience female-perpetrated violence, 56% said their female partners actually did make false accusations that he physically or sexually abused her, compared to less than one percent in the general population.”
If her side of the report is true, on top of Beard saying he has evidence of her starting it, then it’s certainly possible she made parts of the story up. Again, I’m not highlighting this study to try and prove a one side over the other. I want the truth just like the rest of us do, whatever that may be.
I highlighted a sentence in the abstract that show this study, just like most study’s, are not perfect.
I don’t visit the basketball board much until today but just wanted to say that I’m extremely proud of these guys tonight given the current circumstances they are facing. It’s going to be a battle for the remainder of the season and I’m going to root my ass off for these players.
That was some of the worst coaching I’ve seen. Corners were off by 10+ yards, letting Gunter complete the same pass over and over. I think Gunter ran maybe 4 different plays that entire drive.
Luthen better not be Jedi, or even force sensitive. 99.9% of the rebellion was done by average Joe’s that were badass. Let these guys have their time in the limelight for a change without any force related stuff.
He’s turned into literal dog shit the past couple of years, and I’m fine with him getting clowned for his awful takes. He thinks the show is slow for the purpose of wanting to be slow without any real meaning going on between the characters. It sucks because when he first started out he was a cool, down to earth guy that loved Star Wars.
Star Wars theory hating on the show means this is some of the best stuff that has ever been released. I know it’s kinda random but lately there’s been negative reviews on the show that are built on the dumbest reasons. I respect everyone’s opinion of the show, but it’s really hard to when you say that seeing bricks takes the Star Wars feel out of the show.
Wasn’t Herman in the exact same situation year 2 with osu and West Virginia needing to win? Whoever it was Herman got the help from another team to get to the CCG.
Your standard, my standard, all of our standards. It doesn’t matter because he’s not performing at an optimal level that we all thought he would be. And no I don’t think I need a repeat of intro to general sociology, thank you though, Mead. His change will be rooted in his relationship with football, not symbolic interaction with his hair. His style of playing is catching up to him, which was fine when we were winning but now he’s figuring out that only having a gifted arm isn’t going cut it going forward in his football career. Let’s just agree to disagree, and move on.
I mean you stated it pretty clearly “Want to sport a mullet as a high-profile D1 QB? Earn it.”
The point is, is that his hair style wasn’t a problem when he was tearing up Bama or OU, so stop thinking he needs to pull some symbolic bullshit now that he’s not performing to your standard.
