  1. Yep. Having a bottom order of Daly, Todd and Faltine isn’t bad at all. Move Messinger to 6 also.
  2. He’s one of our better defensive guys but yeah, he’s gotta figure out the bat. Needs to be out of the fourth spot yesterday.
  3. Seriously. They are having trouble even recognizing it
  4. Stehly would be a nice 3 hole hitter rn.
  5. Great outing for Duplantier. Can’t ask for much more from a guy coming off an injury like his. He’s only going to get better as the season progresses.
  6. Damn, he got the foot down and turned on that ball. Love his swing.
  7. Freshman Pete starter the year out as a reliever but looked really good. Probably would have found his way in the rotation. It was the freshman Pete and Duplantier that saved our ass in the Arkansas game and prevented the choke. There was a ton of young players on that squad that showed great promise. Actually having a game changer at short stop with the Faltine was fun to watch in the limited action we saw. You also can’t forget the monster walk off homer from Cam against Boise. Sad that we didn’t get 2 full years of him.
  8. Yeah that was a going to be a good year but If I’m remembering correctly, the 2020 start of the season was filled with inconsistent play even tho we were winning. This years start seems to be more in line with complete wins and overall better play.
  9. Same. I don’t think Pierce has ever had a Texas team start out looking this good.
  10. Sweet, can’t wait to watch. DTS was the main reason I got into F1 a few years back and I’m grateful for that. But, r/formula1, this board and etc are where it’s at for me in terms of F1. I’ve learned more here than the show, especially where the show gets it completely wrong. So as fan still learning F1, I won’t take DTS seriously as some do but I’ll still enjoy it’s entertaining set up and the driver interviews.
  11. Gutsy? On a hitters count? He got a fastball over the plate and did exactly what he should.
  12. That throw from the catcher had instant regret all over it.
  13. That makes sense. I said it earlier but I think Messinger has one of the best approaches on the team. Melendez-Silas-Messinger would be absolute hell for a pitcher to face in that order. The room for error shrinks.
  14. Another thing from a staff standpoint— I’m glad Pierce left the freshman Harrison in for ninth, especially after the first batter got on. Let the kid bare down and show what he’s made of. Can’t wait to see more of Harrison.
  15. Our stout defense and experienced arms helped a ton against the weather conditions. They have no answers once we score
