  1. Agreed. That's why the prosecuting attorneys left those women in a bad situation for months. But they did get a warrant to make sad pr0n. The dirty pictures were going to help make headlines so why would we expect them to prioritize doing their job over that. You're correct that the system creates bad incentives but the bad choices of individual prosecutors should be pointed out as well. There is plenty of blame to go around after all.
  2. 3 big factors with OL. Physical talent includes size, strength, quickness, flexibility, footwork and balance. That alone is harder to assess than most positions, especially the flexibility, balance and the athleticism to locate LBs and DBs in space. Intelligence and ability to process information on the fly is also critical. OL have to be able to identify blitzers, react to stems, slants and stunts while maintaining the correct assignments and leverage. The mental aspect of the game is VERY difficult to assess. Last is nastiness and desire. A big part of OL play is intimidating and beating down the defense. That is where a willingness to hit hard, play through the whistle and bury guys outright when there's an opportunity comes in. An OL who takes plays off really hurts his team by missing an opportunity to grind the opponent down faster.
  3. If Bilbo was always a bit premature that might explain Candi "taking her talents" to a different bed...
  4. Jimbo didn't see his shadow. Spring coming early this year.
  5. Since Sam barely played at all against Baylor and half a game vs ISU, his numbers should be divided by 12.5, not 14.0. That comes to 306 YPG, which is pretty close to the 300 yards I guessed before checking.
  6. Then you just don't care about playing defense. Sometimes the defender makes the play and the the receiver just makes a better one.
  7. Read the words straight from the prosecutor's office at their press conference. It's not us focusing on trafficking, that's for sure. The only reason we're having this ridiculous conversation is because a publicity whore politician couldn't restrain himself.
  8. That would put aggy on course to have a better O Line sometime around 2022 or 2023.
  9. Don't forget the Bru McCoy eligibility petition.
  10. It's a tough position to play and even tougher to project at the next level. I was an unranked 3-star coming out of HS. Never lived up to my potential and never playing the position outside of practice and a couple of meaningless scrimmages...
  11. Not in their legal filings. But they certainly played up that angle in their press conference to draw attention to themselves this terrible scourge. I'm sure using Kraft's name to get media coverage for that same conference was purely coincidental. https://www.tcpalm.com/story/news/crime/2019/02/25/state-attorney-nfl-owner-robert-kraft-visited-jupiter-spa-morning-afc-championship/2979389002/
  12. I won't trust Arkansas to beat Aggy until they actually do. Morris should have his boys watch Deliverance for inspiration before the game...
  13. Clubber, what's your prediction for this thread?
  14. Amazingly emotional final performance of Crowded House's farewell tour in Sydney.
  15. I can see cases where the DB rips through the hands but the WR still hangs on being considered tight coverage. Similarly where he rattles the WR's teeth with a hit but the guys still hangs on, like that sideline shot in the Rose Bowl NC game where I wondered if the Trojan receiver was going to even get up but he completed the catch.
  16. Yeah, that was the other thing that made it look like a political ploy. When prosecutors make shit up for maximum publicity but then the charge is something much more mundane, it's usually a PR operation rather than a law enforcement one.
  17. He might be looking around because it's not getting pulled often enough...
  18. Probably some ambitious politician looking for publicity to make a move for higher office. It's the same thing that usually leads to prosecutorial abuses like withholding evidence from the defense to get conviction rates up. Unlike the run of the mill defendant, Kraft has the resources to make this blow up in the face of the prosecution.
  19. aggy must be so disappointed with the electronic age. Historical revisionism no longer requires book burning despite any urges they may feel.
  20. I have high hopes that aggy decommit season will return to normal in 2020 after 2019's disappointing partial shutdown.
  21. Whittington ran the ball as a Wildcat QB, shotgun RB, jet action as a motion slot and reverses from a traditional slot set. He also got a bunch of receptions that were technically passes but really extensions of the running game: screens, swing passes and checkdowns.
  22. Yep. Soph Sam vs Frosh Sam is no aberration.
  23. Weekend weather in Stanford, CA was wet and cold (by California standards certainly). Daytime temps in the 50s, constant cloud cover and near constant rain. https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest/timeseries.php?sid=LOAC1&num=168&wfo=mtr
  24. Fools are often wrong but never in doubt.
  25. They're grown ups making a business decision. Much less likely to change than a HS kid with a bigger emotional component to the choice.
