  1. Looked like a drum major move from Battle of the Bands.
  2. That segment gave me bad flashbacks to monitoring Radio Pyongyang. "There's a little bit of the shine off it [the SEC]. Mainly due to S Carolina laid a complete egg. But especially with what Georgia did. That hurt the league's image on a grand stage." aggy still can't bring themselves to mention what TEXAS did TO Georgia.
  3. This should all sound very familiar. I don't like Riley but he's not wrong here. He is however the wrong guy to deliver this particular message. https://newsok.com/article/5623440/ou-football-sooners-coach-lincoln-riley-all-in-on-alex-grinchs-defense That hits aggy right where it hurts. It strikes right at the heart of their latest "greatness by association" meme.
  4. So you see many millions of women being held in slave-like conditions in foreign countries. You see women being held in similar slave-like conditions in those immigrant communities within the US. And somehow you conclude that this is the fault of US immigration law? You seem to be trying to impose some sort of political agenda on a problem that quite clearly originates outside our borders. Are you going to blame FGM on immigration law next?
  5. Spend some time in Asia before popping off about something you obviously know nothing about.
  6. aggy's best years were long before current players were even born. 2019 seniors were born in 1998. During their lives, Texas leads 10-4, which is essentially the same winning % as the all-time record.
  7. That's brilliant. I'd never considered using constructive cowardice as a criterion for success.
  8. Well Jimbo never figured that one out in the first place, so...
  9. Slavery is a social not an economic institution. There hasn't been any economic rationale for it since mechanization.
  10. We're talking about slavery, not economics.
  11. That's a completely skewed presentation and ignores highly relevant current conditions. The US takes in over 1 million people per year and yet we have a huge problem with human trafficking today. Many of the women are essentially slaves in their home countries and are brought here and hidden inside immigrant communities that provide cover for similar conditions in the US.
  12. Since the arrangements are often virtual slavery, nothing will change unless you're willing to legalize that too. In that case, things will change but not for the better.
  13. After logging on to Surly, I use Mental Floss(TM) daily.
  14. It's that fully customized personal touch that makes kids feel special at aggy. That edit is almost as personalized as this:
  15. Yep. F Chip Brown saying Ojomo is close to 300 lbs and will get some snaps at NT in the spring.
  16. JFC. It captures the spirit of what he said in pithy fashion. Totally acceptable artistic license for this:
  17. To be fair it's a long, tough haul down the Jism Trail. Even tougher starting from Ft Bagadicks in the Indian Territory.
  18. Just the way it was drawn up.
  19. Whatever will we do without aggy throwing us a "lifeline" again?
  20. aggy just forgot who the real sleeping giant was.
  21. Your general pessimism and negativity is one thing, but I've had about enough of your British spellings here lately, sir. You are on notice. Perhaps your view of the programme is coloured by your perception that it's still in the foetal stages of development.
