  3. Man Tongans gonna be pissed if a Samoan takes Vahe's spot. Polynesian ties only stretch so far...
  4. You're really improving. The transition is almost seamless here. I don't know if this would interest you but the texasfootball Instagram put up this picture of Junior Angilau. I immediately thought of Jason Momoa's Aquaman.
  5. No. The students get no say and their vote is meaningless. Their administration just needs a pretext for their latest flip-flop on renewing the series.
  6. It sucks but we have to make sacrifices as fans. Blame the jackasses on the CFP committee. They are the ones providing the incentive to schedule crap. Texas Football is simply reacting to those incentives. Until the SEC gets punished for scheduling much worse than this, Belmont SHOULD schedule some cream puffs.
  7. Exactly. LSU's offense is a less balanced and less talented version of Georgia's. Roach, Wilbon, Graham and Ossai held up just fine against the original. I'm not terribly worried about the knock off version. I'm much more concerned about OL depth because their defense was good, they return most of it and they still have Aranda at DC.
  8. We'd have to drop a conference game and add an FCS team to sink that low.
  9. That's kinda the point. In the best game of his life, Mond was under 50% and completed ONE pass >10 yds downfield.
  10. It usually starts with some idiot Sooner interrupting a conversation that doesn't involve them to talk shit. You know, just like in real life.
  11. aggy never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
  12. Quoting from Annie the musical is apropos. OTOH I doubt any song and dance is going to get USC out of hole Helton and Swan have dug.
  13. Wait. His first offer from Texas wasn't enough for him?
  14. Definitely needs to be cross posted to the Yancy McKnight thread. Incidentally, how awesome would an edit of that face by Angilau on Jason Momoa's Aquaman be?
  15. I didn't watch aggy much in 2017. If Mond improved last year he must have been awful in 2017. In the games against UK and LSU he could barely complete a pass over 10 yds downfield. He threw so many stops, screens and dump offs that I'd bet his average completion was 2 yds past the LOS.
  16. aggy is basically Miss State. Less accomplishment but more money. They might aspire to be LSU and win their division once a decade after Saban is gone. All of those teams cheat their ass off and have little to show for it - just like aggy.
  17. It's not about raw population per se. It's very un-PC to say this but some ethnic groups are just going to produce more football players than others. Hawaii has only 1.3 million people but 25% of them are Polynesians. I don't know what the numbers are for Polys as a whole but a few years back I saw a stat that Samoans were 40x more likely to end up in DI (now FBS) football than the average American kid.
  18. A Texas website and no one has mentioned Friday Night Lights? Incredible original soundtrack that didn't make a list focusing on iconic music that started from pop culture then were used in movies.
  19. LSU is a good team. That said, +8 at home seems rather excessive.
