  1. https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/final-ratings-for-the-2022-election/ final update from Sabato. I disagree with them on the GOP margin of victory. I think the GOP wins 19 seats.
  2. https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/final-ratings-for-the-2022-election/ final ratings from Sabato. They did move Nevada from toss up to lean dem. I disagree with them on Pennsylvania. I think the dems win there. I think the senate will be 50-50 if the dems hold Nevada.
  3. Seems like she’s had a quiet election cycle compared to the last one.
  4. The 10-11 pm hour might be most interesting results wise.
  5. At least it’s states whose result is already pre-determined. You won’t see Alabama go blue or Connecticut go red in a presidential race.
  6. To make lines longer in the urban counties where blue voters primarily vote.
  7. Packers stink. They’ve lost 5 games in a row. I think the bears will be tougher than them.
  8. Blame the stupid ass GOP legislatures all around the country who don’t let election workers start counting the early / mail in votes until Election Day or even when polls close in some states. They should let election workers count and tabulate all the early mail votes today so that the results are ready for Tuesday night. I guess it’s no coincidence that the same people fighting against letting us count the votes are the same ones who complain about trump being ahead by a mile when they go to bed and Biden being ahead when they wake up the next morning. These people live to fear monger and push conspiracies. Any chance they get, they will take it.
  9. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/when-election-results-2022/ 538 has a great state by state write up on when you can expect results on Tuesday. However, I’m sure I’ll just watch CNN and hope for the best like I always do.
  10. This is the first time in my lifetime that I’ve ever been supremely confident about our chances to win up in lambeau.
  11. https://www.realclearpennsylvania.com/articles/2022/11/01/the_midterms_and_gen-x_super_voters_862450.html gen X is killing the dems at the polls. The 45-64 demographic sucks.
  12. Looks like their might be a massive snowstorm heading for Nevada on Tuesday. Could effect things.
  13. That’s shocking. I figured CCM was done for. If she wins then my senate prediction would go to 50-50 with dems winning PA / AZ but losing Georgia.
  14. House - GOP wins house and picks up 19 seats. Senate- despite our best wishes, NC, Wisconsin, and Ohio aren’t close. The dems lose them all by 3+. Dems lose Nevada and Georgia. Dems win Pennsylvania. Senate becomes 51-49 GOP. governor- dems win MD and MA. Dems lose Oregon and Nevada. Texas- Republican sweep. Too many people here who vote R no matter what even with an attorney general who has a criminal record and a governor who let Texans freeze to death under his watch.
  15. Dems need Clark firewall to be between 40-45k to have a chance to win I’m guessing. Mail can come in for up to 7 more days. Nevada could come down to 1 point or less.
  16. A good barometer to interpret election night results. I don’t think Kuster or Wexton will lose.
  17. Could break the 40 million vote threshold by tomorrow. I know some states have ended early voting tho so I guess we’ll see.
  18. Hopefully this trend of early voting procrastination happened all over the country and the numbers in other states go way up too.
  19. 1 month before the 2020 election, Trump told those who live in the suburbs that a horde of brown / black people will come around the corner wherever they live and invade their suburbs. It didn’t win him the election, but they altered the message a bit to vaguely say the word CRIME and it’s enough to scare voters into thinking they’re in danger if they don’t vote red.
  20. It kinda sucks now. I’ve been and if you don’t have tickets in the lower bowl area, you usually just watch the game on the big screen. If you watch on the big screen, then you might as well watch it at home. good luck in finding something tho.
  21. That’s the frustrating thing. The combination of their base being old and old people being the best voters, Fox News, their voters being nearly entirely driven by rage, hate, and anger which is easy to manufacture, and they’re just so much better at the politics game. It’s a lot harder than it should be to beat the GOP. The GOP doesn’t do anything for you unless your income is in the top 10% but they keep on winning. It seems like they control the narrative so easy and when they’re in power, people make excuses for them, but when the dems are in power they are so quick to get blamed for things.
  22. Texans did better against Philly then I expected. Especially without their 2 best receivers.
  23. My only hope at this point is that in politics lately things aren’t always what they seem. In 2016, we expected a Clinton presidency and didn’t end up with one. in 2018, we expected a big blue wave. Only got one in the house as senate and Gov results were disappointing. in 2020, we were expecting a blue wave because of covid and only the race for president went well as millions of people split their tickets because they were afraid of extremely liberal house candidates in deep blue states with radical ideas. I personally don’t see a red wave as a possibility, I think the worst outcome is a red ripple.
  24. As bad as Hill was, at least he wasn’t Taco Charlton. I cringed when that pick was made and knew he was going to suck.
