  1. Several thoughts Katie Britt is full of SHIT. Woman is talking about preserving the American dream when all she did was be born attractive and marry a football player while she gives him babies and makes him sandwiches. This Britt woman has never done a hard days work in her life. Make her work a 10 hour shift at wal mart or Ross and she would probably cry and quit before it’s even over. No fortitude at all in that woman. Ted Cruz saying Biden was out of touch with the American people is great. Thanks for the laugh. People hate Cruz so much that he gets things thrown at him during a parade in the biggest city of the state he serves. Guy is a massive liability on any ballot because so many people hate him. He’s gotta be one of the most hated members of congress ever.
  2. The trio of Paxton, Patrick, and Abbott will not rest until Texas is run into the ground.
  3. Tell Ryan Patrick his dad sucks for not letting Texas legalize marijuana or gambling.
  4. Trump dominated the primary overall, but there are cracks in the armor. Lots of people gladly and willingly showed up to vote for Haley. Biden was getting over 80% in nearly every state and Trump didn’t get that high. millions of independents/ democrats chose to vote in the republicans primary because it’s the only one this year with a competitive race. Lots of these folks will return home in the fall. More democrats probably sat home during this primary season than republicans as well. Biden needs a good state of the union tomorrow. Also dems seem to have a big advantage in the money department and at the state level in crucial swing states. Michigan / Arizona GOP are in shambles. Kari lake and Martha mcsally will be responsible for totally flipping Arizona blue. I still like the way demographics are trending in Georgia and North Carolina as well. Dems still have a lot to be hopeful for and it’s still early. Wait until more people become politically engaged. Right now it’s just the die hards like us. As long as a big recession doesn’t hit before fall ( looking unlikely) Biden should have a decent chance. honestly I don’t care if Biden wins and steps down by Christmas. I just don’t want trump or MAGA to win anything.
  5. Yes…. Brandon gill gave Dinesh a grand child and Dinesh pretty much got Brandon elected. Dinesh gave the Gill campaign a huge donation and secured the trump endorsement for gill.
  6. These results are ungodly disappointing. We’ve talked about for years using the primary season to get rid of terrible republicans, but now these same terrible republicans are using the primary to get rid of the only somewhat sane republicans left in the only Texas body of government that isn’t totally fucked up. the Texas house could be as bad if not worse than the Texas Senate soon.
  7. Guy is going to congress because he knocked up dinesh d’ souza’s daughter and used dad in laws connection to Trump to get an endorsement from trump.
  8. Happened to me about 10 years ago when I went to vote at an off time and had to say out loud “Republican”. When I was asked my party affiliation it seems like everyone in the room was perked up to see what I was going to say. When I said Republican, this old geriatric dude sitting on a bench did a huge fist bump and another old dude nodded like I’ve just done him a big favor. The poll workers talked about how I was the youngest looking repub they have seen all day and that they need to “ get more of these guys”. little did they know I was just showing up to ( in vain) vote against Abbott and Paxton. I grew up in a suburb where the kids cars at the local high school were better than the teachers cars.
  9. Presidential race is already decided pretty much, but still lots of fun results coming in today and lots of reasons to watch.
  10. Seemed like nearly everyone missed 2014 and 2010 midterms.
  11. I vote on the GOP side most of the time in the spring and dem side 100% of the time in the fall. I figure if anything I’ll just dilute the vote totals of people I hate as much as possible, even if they probably aren’t going to lose.
  12. Not going to freak out about lower D numbers when we don’t have a competitive race and they do. 1000’s of dems voted on the Republican side. We just don’t know how many.
  13. Not much chatter about early vote totals.
  14. I think Thune would do a better job, but Barrasso would be downright terrible.
  15. For once, it seems like democrats benefit from a state not having term limits. while it seems like Texas will be saddled with idiots like Paxton, Patrick, and governor Wheelie for the end of time, Wisconsin is a state which doesn’t have term limits. I like the idea of Evers still owning the GOP in Wisconsin 5 years from now.
  16. I really fucking hated this guy during the Obama administration. He went out of his way to make Obama’s life hell for seemingly no good reason. He would even kill his own bills or bills he previously supported if Obama supported them. Preventing Obama from filling the hated Antonin Scalia’s Supreme Court seat was highway robbery right in plain sight of millions of Americans. It’s disgusting and disappointing that McConnell never suffered any repercussions from this. The republicans prove they value party over country everytime they come to work, but they really showed everyone their true colors when they filled RBG’s seat very quickly after she passed. watching McConnell fail on Obamacare repeal will always be my favorite McConnell moment. Watching him give his speech to the president and the American people with egg on his face was priceless. We would always marvel at how effective Nancy pelosi was as house speaker. She make’s Republican house speakers look like total idiots with how effectively she runs the house. Begrudgingly. I’ll admit that McConnell was the senate version of pelosi. It seemed like he would always be the guy to push something through that needed to get done. That’s why it was so nice to watch him fail on Obamacare repeal. with that said, McConnell was rarely the voice of reason in Kentucky and in that small aspect he will be missed. When Beshear won his first governor race, Kentucky republicans were scrambling and running around like chickens with their heads cut off until Mitch spoke out and said “ look guys….. Beshear won. Get over it”. in 2020 redistricting, McConnell once again spoke out while Kentucky was crafting their map and said that the democrats “should receive a district”. Without the presence of McConnell, we might not have a democrat governor or a democrat house member because the rest of the Kentucky republicans are so bat shit crazy.
  17. I heard the chick he nailed and impregnated was 14. Good job pedo Tyler boobert.
  18. Supposedly the map has been passed and is on the way to the governor. I’m not expecting a 22-4 like we all wanted, but damn at least give us a 19-7 or 20-6 map.
  19. Was this the same boobert kid who called the cops because daddy was “throwing him around” the room and boobert herself picked up the phone and tried to diffuse the situation?
  20. Of course there’s a TX democrat party operative idiot in there telling us not to. I’ve been voting this way for 10 years. I think the point is to just vote against people you hate as much as possible. I vote against bathroom Dan, indictment Paxton, and hot wheels Abbott several times a cycle and I love doing it. They’re a joke.
  21. Connservatives will shrug it off and not care despite the fact that boobert is one of their own for another 10 months at least.
  22. What a joke. All the GOP voted for the map put forth by the committee. Tells you all that you need to know.
  23. Getting gross mental images of Rosemdale spanking and tapping that college kid ass.
