  1. The GOP is running a terrible midterm campaign. Voters want to hear what you have to offer and all the GOPcis doing is pointing at the dems and blaming them for everyone’s problems. do you guys think the FBI raiding Mar-a-lago could help the GOP in 2022? I think it helps Trump in 2024 for sure. All of the MAGA zealots are lining up behind him like he’s still president.
  2. I remember 2010 and 2014. 2010 was the official “Obama hang over” election where democrats were still celebrating their historic win from 2008 and republicans are pissed off and showing up in droves as a huge backlash to 2008 and worried about the parties long term future. 2014 it seemed like nobody cared about voting except for the R zombies who go to the polls no matter what. Both elections seemingly couldn’t get a millennial democrat to show up to vote at all. This election feels different than those. I do think the Supreme Court ruling will be the dems version of the “ Kavanaugh effect”. How much can we limit the damage? I have no idea, but it does seem like Biden and the dems are on a roll right now and the GOP better watch out.
  3. Alaska at large and NY-19 specials could be interesting.
  4. We hardly ever hear the GOP complain about elections in Florida. Hmm I wonder why? Besides wanting to get rid of the woman in charge of Miami dade county votes.
  5. Florida has elected Rick Scott 3 times in the last 12 years. Let that sink in. Very cringeworthy.
  6. I remember while watching the 2020 election, just how demoralized I was at the time they were counting the votes in Florida. Biden actually won the Tampa Bay Area and duval county. He was outrunning Clinton in pretty much every county besides Miami dade. Until I slowly realized, Trump was actually outrunning his 2016 self in pretty much every county too. fuck Florida.
  7. Good Jim Jordan is such a pathetic loser that he needs the most gerrymandered district in America in order to win. Screw him.
  8. GED at work for everyone to see. Apologies to anyone here who has a GED. She just makes you guys look bad.
  9. It’s hard to respect them and take them seriously. States rights issues such as marijuana reform and abortion are the ultimate personal freedom type issues and they want to rapidly oppose both while sending us back to the 50’s. Such a weird ass party.
  10. She’s not smart at all. Neither is anyone who takes this woman seriously.
  11. I wish it really was, but I won’t get my hopes up. the cook political report who is usually pretty accurate and conservative in their calls once said in the 2020 election cycle that Florida was lean democrat or towards Biden. We all know that similar to Ohio, Biden never had a shot here. the rule is if you’re a democrat and Obama isn’t on the ballot, assume the worst in Florida when it comes to politics.
  12. To be honest, I’m wondering if some of the R’s “yes” buttons even work anymore. They’ve voted against so much bipartisan legislation lately.
  13. Could the Indiana Republican car crash come into play here? 1 less no vote.
  14. Your friends need to see the light and vote blue to mitigate the damage.
  15. Most recently completed I meant to say lol.
  16. Other states are passing bills and doing things to help their citizens with inflation. What is Texas doing for us? crickets……
  17. The current inflation is a byproduct of the most recent administrations policies. Trump probably had more to do with inflation then Biden. I was just trying to objective as possible cuz I hate trump and normally can’t ever say anything nice about him.
  18. Here's a thought for "conservative" (read: retrogressive) people: If YOU don't want to get an abortion, then don't. If YOU don't want to marry someone of your own gender, then don't. If YOU don't want to transition to another gender, then don't. If YOU want to have a 1950 lifestyle, then go have it. But DON'T bother other people. YOU go live YOUR life, and let other people live their own lives. There, problem solved.
  19. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/08/06/tim-ryan-turned-his-race-surprise-senate-battleground-00050187 an overall positive report about the senate race in Ohio. I think Trump made Florida, Ohio, and Iowa more red, but it was kind of offset by making other places blue. The GOP has some good points in the article too, but it’s still great that Tim Ryan is forcing the GOP and McConnell to take the race in Ohio seriously and invest resources into it that they can’t put elsewhere.
  20. Didn’t he have the most positive relationship with Israel and Saudi Arabia for a president in recent memory? For the record, I’ve always thought Israel wasn’t worth the trouble and investment of resources we put into them, but that is just my opinion. Trump also sucked up to the Saudi’s and their leader who is only in his 30’s. He used that relationship to try and keep gas prices down. Gas prices were another obsession of Trumps in addition to the stock market. The orange baby spent lots of time doing lip service and “fighting” for low gas prices. I remember earlier in Biden’s term, the Saudi leader was upset because Trump and Kushner basically sucked the guy off 24/7 and Biden wanted nothing to do with him. I think Biden is crushing it right now in general, but I don’t think alienating the country with way way way more oil than anybody else is smart until we get more electric. We still need them. We need gas prices to be low. I despise Trump and I think Jared Kushner is a worthless spoiled little turd whose never worked a hard day of work in his life, but I do give the Trump administration some credit for trying to enforce the border. I think we should at least know whose coming in and out of our country like other countries on earth are able to do.
  21. Anyone whose not a moron knows that gas prices spiked because of Russia’s war. Isn’t that obvious? Why should people blame the president for that?
  22. I still think that Kristi Noem cunt is worse.
