  1. As I’m in the Electrical Distribution industry, you ain’t going to be able to find these unless you come across a hoarder that acquired these from essentially 35 years ago.
  2. Can’t imagine being that close to an epicenter. With the Hector Mine quake, my best friend who grew up with me in Dallas had come down from Livermore, CA for the weekend. He went through the Loma Prieta quake in ‘89 and was working as a Superintendent on a high rise project in downtown Oakland less than 1.5 miles from where the 880 collapsed. He mentioned to me afterwards that the shaking was equal to if not greater than that quake and we were over 100 miles from the fracture in the High Desert.
  3. Carl, What part of So Cal you located in? I lived in Riverside from ‘95 till ‘11 and was there for the Hector Mine quake which match the magnitude from the latest large one. I’ve spoken with numerous friends and my ex asking about the severity of the shaking. Most state that it was equal if not greater. I’ll never forget the experience of that ‘99 quake. My house shook for 20-25 seconds!
  4. Slight Bourbon issue from previous past. Intention was to indicate that he won by 15 and was the only player under par. Pretty dominate and I”m not a Tiger at all?
  5. Interesting comment just recently on the Golf Channel regarding total under par: Tiger was number on the same track. Tiger smoked that field as I personally witnessed and on Sunday at the 6th playing with Ells I was 300 off the tee box. The sound off his club I’ll never forget: His ball was around 320 off the box and Ernie who had honors was 25-30 yards short.
  6. Such a big hit that set the tone in the game. Had the glorious experience of seeing in real time from my vantage point in the upper bowl of the end zone right down the sideline. Fuck....hard to believe that was 13+ years ago!
  7. In the mid-80’s I was on my third stop with my first employer and transferred to Sacramento, CA, I was in an operations role at the time and received a phone from a customer in the Bay Area requesting information on some backorders. The individual was a woman and after telling her status and ETA, she asks if the order will be delivered in her timeframe. I respond “yes ma’am”. For approximately three seconds of silence, she reply’s “Ma’am!!! Are you insinuating that I’m a elderly woman?” Mind you, my parents were Yankees and I was raised in Texas since the age of 16 months. Both hammered into me this sign of respect regardless of age when communicating with adults. I immediately informed her that I was raised in the South and this comment was a sign of respect. She immediately demanded my immediate supervisors name and phone. Twenty minutes later, I receive a phone call from him and he stated to me “what a fucking new world liberated cunt.”
