There is a huge difference between the two coaches....
-
Key phrase was in the "as if".
-
Mond was cramping. He wasn't flopping around until the injury timeout was called and then getting up either... It's all over secrant. Auburn did it to Alabama. Saban adapted it and does it to handle the tempo... Aggy is saying we are claiming moral victory and being laughed at for that sounding familial... At least in soccer they have only one person on the field itself that can't see everything so if you can make it look good enough, you might pull a penalty kick or even a man advantage by getting someone sent off. Deep in the game, fatigue becomes an issue after running for 75+ minutes with a small break after 45. Both sides will start doing it to give the teams a chance to grab water and hydrate before players really start dropping like flies.
-
Aggy did the same shit at Clemson. Must be the newest secsecsec rhing
-
I was sick of them carrying on about the new LSU offense as if they invented the spread and the up tempo, which had Texas confused because they've never seen such a thing.... He damn sure avoided pointing out that LSU has started playing Big12 football and that it was the loss of 8 starters on defense that gave Texas the biggest problems and not a type of offense they see weekly in the conference (something we would have heard repeated all night long it the roles had been reversed).
-
I wonder what qualifies as a quality loss in aggy minds.... 70 - 13? Aggy gonna get humiliated under the bright lights.
-
28 - 17 hook'em
-
Funnier is how they only see Clemson and Bama as the only losses (few mention Georgia also), ignoring the fact that aggy record vs LSU is identical to Bama's. Or the fact that the only teams they have dominated since joining the sec have been Arkansas and USC. They are 4-3 vs Ole Miss, 3-4 vs Miss St Auburn. No matter how much ESPN plays "dress up aggy" to skew national "sec strength" perception, aggy still a middle of the pack snack for the power team(s) of the sec west that got the SECN into Texas. Welcome to being the same old aggy you've always been. Blame Bevo's shadow all you want for leaving, but it's the lack of your own aggy shadow that haunts aggy
-
Corn used to be very friendly also until about the 3th or 4th loss and then they weren't near as polite.
-
What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?
Gaffords replied to GhostOfTomJoad's topic in Football
Big 12 championship tee or bust. -
Not to mention most of the SEC programsloves going after our mid to lower tier teams. Why not schedule WVU, TCU, OU, or UT (even OSU) more instead of BU, TT, KU, and KSU. It isn't like all of us are lined up to play Vandy, USC and MISS.
-
Well from what I read, I wouls say it has something to do with loose tailpipe.
-
I think the modern milkmen have migrated away from the jar and prefer it straight in the can.
-
You are right about that. Not just in sports either. I remember my freshman year watching many of other freshmen start the progressive descent into depression until they dropped out. College life at a large university isn't for everyone.
-
They will just expand the boundary with a buffer zone before all that noise... We still have aggy on the field after a dead aggy, a sword, shovels, the reenactment of the Alamo done in true aggy style that beamed each other in the "fog of war". If any of those asshats are allowed near any sporting event, the world can tolerate Bevo strutting his shit every once in awhile.
-
YAY they are bringing back Whale Wars. The greatest reality tv show of all times!!! Maybe they will get some picketers out and Bevo will cut a golf cart in half... I love this Bevo. He reminds me of younger years, fishing with a friend. He was the owner of this stock tank we used to favor, but we would have to park on the road and jump the fence and sneak in the backside. You know it's not good when you are with the owner and have to sneak in on his property. He had a old bull that did NOT like anyone around his private beach front. I've (and plenty others) swam many of unwanted "laps" in that pond. I witnessed my almost 70 year old granddad walk on water. My buds farm truck finally gave up the ghost so we took his other truck (less than a month old) to feed and check on the cattle just to sit through having the driver mirror removed and the truck's back quarter panel then hood literally violated because my friend had taken his jacket off and laid it across the tailgate with the keys in the pocket before the bull made it to where we were busting bales. It never crossed our mind he might not be fond of a different truck, which we should have been when the cows and the bull were slow to respond to food. He's usually like a little puppy following the truck around the pasture as soon as it makes it through the gate. He wasn't a longhorn, but he sure had the heart of one.
-
He was a take for any program. He has talent for sure. I am curious if he ends up starting, and if so, does he retain the job all year... His (and Riley's) biggest challenge to fit him in is going to be the complicated D reads. It isn't something they are required to do in the SEC. He's no freshman so he ahead there, but he will have some of the same tendencies (i hope at least). He will be a little hesitant progressing beyond the hot route which tends to cause happy feet, deer in the headlights, and premature ejaculation right down the middle when a blitz comes either delayed or from unexpected angles... Plus he comes from the secsecsec and doesn't expect anyone to be playing defense. After Texas comes in heavy and Bomar's his ass, he'll shake it off with the "they're Texas" and they did the same to Georgia so it won't be a major shock for him. But when ISU, then TCU, followed up by OSU put his dick in the dirt a few times, he will be missing the mighty secsecsec defenses... FUCK OU and their new assclown.
-
*while getting nailed.
-
I'm gonna throw my name in too and see if I can become the first to win it from the seats/couch/bar stool.
-
just like the secsecsec diffense.... If it's secsecsec can it really be called defense??? for you lurking aggy twats....... Just using p5 schools or secsecsec would be even further back. #1 defense in yards allowed per game was Miss St hands down (NOT...) But with games against SF Austin, KSU (no barn burner this year by any means), LA Lafayette, LA Tech, Arkansas, and Mississippi, PLEASE----UofL would have looked great and slim ball would still have a job and CS would have to work hard to fuck that shit up... #2 Michigan #3 Clemson #4 Miami #5 Iowa #6 Michigan St. #7 Washington #9 California NOTE: there are there are six g5's mixed in before we get to the next secsecsec team. #10 Alabama. #35 aggy (356.5 yards averaged per game) #60 Texas (393.6 yards per game--- A whole 37.1 more yards per game against Real Football Offenses... ) I think it's time for you sheep fucks to give up the "SEC GOOD" pipe dream. Those numbers clearly show the PAC, BUG, and ACC way ahead of your silly secsecsec... And all three of those conferences use more advanced offenses than your secsecsec clown shows. Nowhere near the offenses in the B12, but still way ahead of your NOPASS sec Os. For reference, Iowa St was ranked #33. If those numbers don't work for your aggy "logic", let's look at yards allowed per play... #1 Miss St. (no surprise with the offenses they faced) #2 Clemson #3 Miami #4 Michigan #5 Michigan St. #6 Iowa #7 California #8 Penn St. #9 Notre Dame #10 Washington #11 Utah NOTE: there are 9 g5s mixed in before we get to ... #12 Alabama (True ranking with g5s is #21) once again the numbers show your NOT REAL FOOTBALL GOOD defenses to be behind the PAC, BUG, and ACC But for grins, with bama sitting at #21 #22 TCU ahead of LSU at #24 #27 Iowa St. ahead of Georgia at #29 AND #55 Texas ahead of #62 aggy. If that still leaves believing in the "superior" secsecsec. The offensive numbers have your you, the offensive numbers show the secsecsec way down the food chain also. Now your secsecsec did lead an Offensive category (only going by the top 10) in one stat, and that was in average scoring margin. But that is only because the sec had both Alabama and Georgia date raping the sec"Dwarfs 12" and their other photo shoot props... Outside of those 2, the secsecsec drops way off here and becomes quite average or below even. The data says your secsecsec struggles to be ahead of the Big 12 defensively on paper (the last few Bowl years have made it clear that it's ONLY on paper), but not even close to being the top of the conferences. On offense though, all I can say is SECSECSEC LOLLOLLOL SECSECSEC BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Leave it to aggy to make a 100 year decision to run to another average conference and brag about getting beat by a mid pack Miss St, an ordinary Auburn, an average LSU, and a good but coming back down to earth Alabama. but hey, SECSECSECSECSECSEC... Keep up the hype! It's work for much longer than it should have, and there is no telling how many games over the years the sec have won based on media hype alone. OU this year (probably last also) looked intimidated by the ALAsecESPNsecBAMAsecAGGYsecDAWGS rolling trickle and it was too late by the time they figured out that Alabama were mortals after all. BUT something tells me that the ESPN created Mythical Satyrs hypnosis is all but over. When the top two (sec) teams that everyone (ESPN) thought would and should be in the finals went down in non-fluke demolishings on both sides of the ball, people realized the secsecsec half-man half-goat terror was nothing more than another farmer fucking a sheep. The shit aggy introduced to the secsecsec... Anyways, lurking aggy dumb fucks, enjoy your new home where "it's awesome to lose to the likes of"other 'nothing special' conference rivals as you have your entire history, but those easy 'deer in the headlights' wins because "Hey secsecsec" are numbered and some of those cupcakes are gonna rise up and bite you on the vag! I would say like always"history repeats itself", but we both know that's not even the case. It's more along the lines of "the sun rises and the sun sets" is almost as consistent as aggy being a .550ish, run of the mill, mid pack program against its conference peers no matter which conference it's in. Like it or not aggy, you have ALWAYS relied on those 2 or 3 Buy-A-Win games a year to break the .500 mark, and the years you have actually ascended beyond 7-8 wins consistently (two years in a row) tend to correlate with Probations soon to follow.... Just the facts aggy

No, Mike Leach, YOU'RE awesome! [Pirates Last Voyage]
Gaffords replied to Parliament's topic in Football
He once signed a book for a fan with CJK5H.... then blew off the media when asked about it with "didn't know what it stood for... ok Who cares!" -
Leach's offense is actually simpler than Steve's. It's only looks complicated by design like many modern defenses... But it's so simple that it is designed to be ran from the line 75% of the time. One QB in Lubbock ran it from the line of scrimmage 90% of the time his last year or two.
-
yeah, there were too many games already that had my heart overly stressed. All I needed was a freshman QB thrown out there... If the heart didn't go, I probably would have drank myself into a pine box.
-
that's the correct answer. To add to it, after the two years he has no guarantee that he would start then. There is a good chance he would never see the field as a starter. Rising is good enough to start next year or the following on several teams and has a shot at the next level, which is something he could easily lose by riding pine on the "we're back" bench. And for the comment you quoted. Herman does run his qbs quite a bit. BUT just how much depends on: A. QB running ability and physical attributes. B. His O-Line. The better they are, the more he calls the qb run. Herman is known for the qb runatons, but his scheme usually puts the qb in a good situation to exploit soft spots (it doesn't always work). But if his OL or QB is a death or fumble risk, he dials it back a lot. Herman runs Sam a lot, but who wouldn't. Florida wasn't a qb run happy team until they got their Sam Tebow, then (like us) they loved watching him truck secondaries. As long as the OL keeps progressing like they are, a qb like Rising two years from now (in Herman's scheme) would probably remind you of Colt's 2nd year when he still had a good OL and a true running back, so Colt was able to take off at will. With Herman, the rbs would do the bulk of ground work, while Rising would be more Arm than Leg, but used in the run just enough to gash Ds for good yards here and there but not enough to pull numbers into the box or just enough to stack the box to open the 1 on 1s on the deep routes. Herman uses both approaches. But I doubt you would ever see a "Rising" in Herman's system line up at the 1 yard line and try to power it 4 straight runs like he could with Sam. It was a bold move by Herman to break the D's back (or to make a statement with a BIG FUCK YOU ESPN and your cock gobbling of the "ungodly" secsecsec defenses, but not something you would do without a "Sam" as your QB. Rising would have been fine in Herman's system (as long as his golden arm didn't go all GDGG), but the likelihood of seeing the field here as a starter is probably pretty low. By the time Sam leaves, there will should be another young QB or 2 on the roster that fits the Herman scheme a little better that Rising would have to compete with. "We're back" bitches. That should help with recruiting some talented dual-QBs the next few years. Side note: Sorry, just can't get over it. Georgia O stats: | Vs Texas BDF Defense 3343 total rushing yards - #1 SEC | 238.79 average rushing yards per game - #1 SEC | 72 rushing yards 5.90 yards per carry - 1# SEC | 2.4 yards per carry 30 rushing touchdowns - 2# SEC | 0 rushing touchdowns 37.86 average points per game - 2# SEC | 21 points with 7 scored during garbage time 464.86 average yards per game | 296 total yards The only team that came close to Texas' defensive stats vs. G was LSU. It's setting up for a great game next year!

Yeah but aggy takes them in fanaticism and delusion. There are several other categories that come to mind where aggy overachieve also in horrific fashion.
