  1. And the irony in all of it is that their most beloved persona is the one who fucked them into irrelevance. All over butt hurt, jealousy and spite. The loss of NQs hurt them some but it was the loss of his very questionable walk on program that torpedoed that ship... Whether the B12 killed his NQ program or not, the NCAA would have killed it tje following year when they killed both of his practices with reforms across the board. Even funnier was the attempt to torpedo the Conference on the way out. Instead leaving with class like Colorado or Maryland or even Missouri did, he made a circus of the whole thing. It wasn't Texas he was trying to destroy on the way out. He knew there was too much money on the table for Texas not to land on it's feet. Instead he tried to blow up the conference to punish the smaller members of the old Big 8 for not catering to his ego and the entire sports world let him clown himself without calling out a single lie. Alotbof that probably has to do with it was a great change of pace in the sports world with sensational stories to cover, and itn spiraled out of control so fast that nobody was going to risk having the seseless pitchfork mob turn on them right along with Texas. And for the record, it wasn't Texas that had you removed from the ACC. It was your new family led by Michigan who lead that charge. Your old family tried to keep you in but there wasn't enough votes between the few B12 members to do so. But even to this day, when one of your own, whether it be a reporter or a forum member, you dumb fucks still insist bevo masterminded the entire thing... Aggy on the other hand tried to torpedo the conference to kill off Texas. They really belive Texas would get left out. They honestly thought they were taking the entire State of Texas fanbase with them and it would be the finishing blow (for most of their fans, literally) if the Conference died with us.
  2. And this is the reason that no matter how much the fans want or how nutty Boren was, OU is NOT looking to bolt from the B12. The Texas pipeline has always been their bread and butter.
  3. Wait what? Never heard this! All i can say is that the booth needed to be better prepared to take their loss, pussies.
  4. For the same reason Baylor(did), TT, ISU, will make it interesting for us and we made it more than interesting for OU. Teams find a way to rise above expectations went it comes to hated opponents with an exceptional season going. It isn't very often we have an undefeated team in the championship. It's even rarer to have two undefeated going into that game. Alot of bad teams find a way to stick it to their leading conference rival the final few weeks of the season. It's what makes college football so fun. Last weekend was the beginning. There will be several upsets the remainder of the way.
  5. Right up there with their sheep shagging championships because several of those damn sure can't be celebrating a football title.
  6. I lived in Lubbock for a dozen years or so. I've done alot of work around campus usually wearing (still do) a LH cap. Never had an issue. In fact, it wasn't uncommon to spot 2 or 3 other LH caps around campus on any given day. There been the typical fan exchange here and there, especially leading up to and after our game weekend, but it never came close to getting out of hand... Even funnier is that i've left equipment all over the place on campus for months on end. From their Basketball arena (during that project, the bantering with some of the aggy working the project tended to have a nastier tone). Our equipment during the stadium renovation was untouched. But when we did a major reinforcement and upgrade on the the broadcast tower across from the BB complex, the Kiss reunion tour made a stop (no problem), several random venues (nothing touched), a big county concert (nope)... But let Elton John play and they trashed out shit. Beer bottles (and wine coolers) broke everywhere, a shattered windshield on a winch truck rigged to the tower, sharpie down the sides of the truck... Now that i think about, Manson might have played also during the months we were there and nothing touched, but Elton John whipped the gays into a frenzy that night and i guess they just wwnted to burn it all down.
  7. Colt says ummm yeah. About that.
  8. They were giving me a heart attack on the last drive of the Baylor game. Especially letting them gain damn near 30yds on the first play. And let them keep driving and driving with no timeouts. Baylor and OU back to back weeks. I'm 50 and I'm not sure my heart can keep doing this the rest of the season.
  9. Per espn. He is beyond a sick fuck ... Authorities said Justin Crawford was arrested after a 12-year-old girl told her mother Crawford had sex with her Saturday in his Columbus home. He was also charged with sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
  10. Unless it's the bone, you don't want your QB breaking too many tackles...
  11. I'm almost certain our defense is out to kill me this year. JESUS... Everytime I'm just about to lose it and throw something at the tv, I remember _iaz. I'm pretty sure he managed to give up 4 touchdowns and a field goal on more than one opening drive. And only 9 missed tackles on any play was a good thing. But at least that defense wasn't doing everything possible to bring on massive heart failure.
  12. At least there is one thing we wil never have to hear. "Aggy is BACK!"
  13. I guess that's still better than losing to the team that lost to Kansas... How far we fell.
  14. The man is brilliant plain and simple. I think with a bigger program, je would dial back the air raid and pound the ball more like he did when he had good backs to work with. He would absolutly kill it a place like Lincoln.
  15. Until we can put a couple of complete games together we have no business in the playoffs. But i do like the coaches have two teams that apparently have better quality losses than aggy... So the best two loss team in the country "by far" has been snatched from their grasp and the pipedream of being best at anything football related this year has been crushed.
  16. I'm all for canning the wildcat all together and bringing back the bone for those situations. At least for the last part of the season. The wishbone was unleashed in 1968 and no better way to celebrate its 50 yr anniversary than to run it down OUsucks throat for 3 or 4 touchdowns when(if) we get the rematch for the conference title. With Sam, our two backs and our two wideouts, it could be fun. Not near as one dimetional as the wildcat. Lj and Cj would be monster threats in that formation... Like the Pirate himself said, no one has ever really stopped the Wishbone. Its the most innovative offense of all time, and he has no doubt that it could still be ran successfully today. (That in itself is an intriguing concept. The Bone with the Pirate's mad genius touch.)
  17. Pulled this off espn of all places.... Auburn is still a top-25 team Sure, the Tigers lost -- this time in humiliating fashion to woeful Tennessee. But really, that's no surprise. Since the Kick Six game in 2013, Auburn is just 23-23 against Power 5 opponents. The crazy thing about that, though, is despite that obvious mediocrity, the Tigers have been ranked in 86 percent of the AP polls during that period. Iowa, on the other hand, is 31-19 vs. Power 5 foes in that span and has spent only 17 weeks ranked. It's tough to get all those quality losses in the Big Ten.
  18. The polls will be interesting to see. Almost everyone either struggled or got beat. tOSU got scorched on the ground big time. Their D is almost a bad as ours . lol UGA got broke over like a cheap shotgun by the ONLY ranked team they have played this year. ND looked worse than us. Pedo went down like Sandusky is doing nightly in his current living accommodations. Washington went down in overtime. WVU got cornholed by ISU... 9 first downs and 152 total yards. They weren't very gentle on the visitors so i wouldn't expect any hillbilly writeup praising their hospitality. We got a win... Barely... UCF by 1. AUB lost Miami lost. Bama is Bama LSU looks good other than losing last week to Florida who had to comeback from an 18 point deficit to put away mighty Vandy... Mich is a hard read. Their best win was tonight against Wis who lost yo a very pedestrian BYU. In fact the only "win" the badgers have this season is against Iowa... Their other games have been WKU, UNM, and corn aggy. Curious to see who they punish for struggling and how they reward Mich for beating a extremely overrated Wisconsin team and LSU for beating a very suspect highly ranked Georgia that has not beat anyone with half a pulse.
  19. I'm not saying we are playoff worthy or playoff bound, but it would be glorious for humanity if not only we made the playoffs, but to knock Bama out in the first round... I believe it would be the "Final Solution" to the aggy problem. The mass suicide... But aggy would fuck that up too.
  20. There shouldn't be "command centers" in the home offices that have any input during the game... That's how you get the UT vs. OSU type of screw job. But a third party that can overrule the field and headquarters?! Look Out Vegas! Someone is gonna clean the house.
  21. If i remember, OP is an OUSUX fan that showed up on the realignement thread around the time aggy and skirt hiking aggy left...
  22. It doesn't say where they carried them to... Nor if it was consensual.
