  1. He’s been hangin’ around those damn white people too damn long!!!
  2. I know. And other than a McDonalds, a United, and about a thousand folks, there’s not much difference
  3. Very surprising, until you realize how much Los Angelos reminded Lincoln Riley and his wife of Muleshoe, Texas
  4. Same here. Billy Luicci's twitter feed is an okay substitute for observing Aggie misery
  5. Not much of a crowd to see UNT play an undefeated Texas -San Antonio team. And I know, I know. Thanksgiving, rain, commuter school and all, but you think they’d have a little better attendance that that. And North Texas is putting’ it on UTSA, 31-14 at the half
  6. It was into a slight wind. Dude has cannon. First FG miss of the year
  7. And coeds. Possibly even the trifecta of twirler, cheerleader, pom squad girl. Being a head coach makes being discreet even more difficult. Cuts into the conquest and boinking session numbers And he may have the Bud Foster mind set of having a great coordinator’s job and realizing that its fine to be happy doing that Side note: He and Kirby Hocutt are close friends and were roommates at Kansas State
  8. It was for one half Baylor, UT, KU, Tech. Really, the eight non purple teams appear to be at least good or even great squads. This conference is solid again
  9. I see UNT is trying, but failing to stay close to Kansas
  10. Small, uninterested private school fan base. So so at best facilities. Several large or very successful in state and regional programs that get every high three star or higher out of the Metro. Marginal coaching hires. The Big 12 is very strong and besides KU's usual grip on the trophy, very competitive. They're running the Indy 500 in a factory Corvette. It's a fast car, but not in that race. Or at least that's the way I see it
  11. TCU gettin' run HARD by little Santa Clara. Down 22 early in the second half. Make that 25. They seem like they kinda suck.
  12. But should it be that odd? Tressel was a part of a big time program and experienced it close up. Then he was successful as a leader against other programs with resources similar to his. Isn’t that a reason to believe that he would have done well at Buckeye? And shouldn’t that be a path that other schools to consider following?
  13. Chip Lindsey out at Troy So now you all know that some guy named Chip Lindsey was the coach at Troy
  14. KU trying to go 2-0 in the state of Texas They’re 1-4 in Kansas
  15. Guys, couple years ago, one of my good friends and I were faced with a massive problem we couldn’t solve, In his wisdom, he said, you know, at this point we need to stop and ask ourselves, what would an extraordinary person do in this situation? This resonated with me the whole week. I realized that, of all the coaches who could be standing at that podium right now in those shoes, Sark is that extraordinary person. And he has a team of what I call coaching juggernauts. This is not only my opinion, this is a fact. I don’t think anyone could dispute this. So my solution is, we write the Sarkisian Era story. We’re not even done with the first chapter yet. Let him unfold some of the onion of what he is working on, how he is going to solve this problem? I realize that he might not even know. But, you know, I’m gonna steal from Julian Edelman, ‘it’s gonna be one hell of a story.
  16. I was listening to the radio broadcast while watching the game. They were not happy
  17. Houston is hosting UVA. U of H went to the freakin' Final Four last season. UVA won the NC 31 months ago and only one more championship has been awarded since then. And they're on the big ESPN. The Fertitta Center holds only 7,100. Yet, you could get a ticket for $17 and even then, the place is maybe 40% full. I know it's a Tuesday night, but man oh man, how the hell the locals or good CBB fans or someone not show up for the game? There's 7M souls that live within an hour of the place and no one shows up?
