  1. Muleshit the TCU QB handled the ball 19 times and has -5 yards rushing and +10 passing. And three picks with 29 yards of returns on those. That's gotta be historically bad, right? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  2. About 11 or 12 inches long. Five toes with the one on the inside substantially larger than the others. A heel on the opposite end of those toes bridged by an arch. You really should have learned all of that in junior high health class or even earlier Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

  4. During the aftermath of the transfer and war of words between Kliff and the Mayfields, I remember national sports people claiming that Kliff should have put him on scholarship. But schools only have 85 schollies. I heard a few guys on TheTicket claim that he should have been put on scholarship as soon as he had a few good games early in the 2013 season. But Tech could not have done that no matter how bad they wanted to. If you have 85 on, you can't just stop in the middle of the season and kick one guy off just to give Baker one, no matter how good he was. The story from Kliff has always been that Baker was put on the list and as soon as one became available, he would be on a schollie. A few players were promised one before him. Because of attrition, every player ahead of him, that was promised one before him, would have been taken care of by the end of spring. Mayfield was going to be on a scholarship and no longer be a walk on by the beginning of the Summer of 2014. He had an outside shot of getting one before spring, but Kliff had to wait and see who transferred or left. Mayfield simply didn't want to compete for the starting job and wanted to be at OU anyway. He saw an out and left. No one blames him for that. But going scorched earth on the way out and presenting a false narrative was what upset people. And I am amazed at how many sports media people claim that any of this went down because of Mahomes. Mahomes didn't get to Lubbock until June of 2014. Mayfield was gone after finals in the Fall of 2013 and attending OU months before Mahomes moved to Lubbock. If you hear any of them bring Mahomes into the discussion, they don't know what they're talking about. And a lot of them don't
  5. Not really. He seemed to have been expecting it
  6. That's why I dropped my side piece when my broad hit seven months
  7. Nah. That's it. Nothing else to see. Players did nothing wrong. Except maybe the walk on. But not their number 2 rusher. He didn't do anything wrong
  8. I don't know that this has anything to do with the undeniable fact that Craig James Killed Five Hookers While at SMU, but Tech got a pretty decent transfer from Nevada. An inside receiver who was a freshman All American at Nevada. He's a white, smallish possession receiver with great quickness who was under recruited out of high school and a Midland native. McLane Mannix is also a top notch return man. But I don't know that Texas Tech has had much success with that type of player. He'll have three to play two and may even be eligible next season. Midland High alum McLane Mannix to transfer to Texas Tech and CJK5H
  9. I was also wondering why OU wasn't ranked. I checked out their season last night, after they won a road game against Northwestern, and I saw the 20 point loss to a really good, but not great Wisconsin team. Other than that, they've been pretty solid. 11-1, top 25 in KenPom and Sagarin, okay SOS. All of it says lower end of the Top 25 for sure. And I also checked on the differences between last year's team and this year's, because they went from about the 45th best team to about the 22nd best team. They are pretty much the same team except that they're missing that one guy. I think the perception is that if you lose your leading scorer, you will not be as good. So I guess most voters in the Big 12 polls, most moved them from 6th in the conference down to 9th or 10th. But just like the Hawks, OU was a worse team with him than without him. I always wondered how good Tech would have been if he followed his parent's wishes and signed with Tech. Would they have been a better team than the one that went to the Elite 8? Because he was a Top 5 draft pick and surely that's the kind of player that make your team better, right? But his defense last season was atrocious. Not bad, but horrible. I don't know if Beard would have been tolerant of that. And he set the NCAA record for turnovers in a season with a few games to play. I'm not saying he would have been a bench warmer for Beard, but I'm sure he wouldn't have displaced Keenan Evans and that he wouldn't have been jacking up 30 shots a game. Did Kruger get him to sign by promising that he would start from Day One and be the focus of the offense and say to hell with team results? One and dones help your program as a recruiting selling point even if they don't help produce on the court wins I also found an interesting stat on ESPN's site. It's called Real Plus-Minus (RPM) I don't know how good it is at measuring a player's worth, but Harden, George, Anthony Davis, Jokic, and Irving are the top five. Trae Young is number 456 of 457 players listed. I have been convinced that his liability as a defensive player hurts his team more anyone will admit
  10. The first public mention was by this young lady, when she was new to the TV scene in West Texas, Baillie Burmaster. She's an OSU grad shown here with her ex, B. Mayfield. She was interviewing Mahomes and found about about it or some such. Not a bad little piece: He Loves Ketchup on Steak
  11. The only thing that would be better than this is if it was a plate from the State of Washington instead of Texas and the vehicle was registered in Pullman

  13. Texas Tech wins easily over an outmanned ACU team. But more importantly, they played a throwback type game in the old Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. AKA The Bubble. It was the last game yo ever be played there. It's set for demolition next year, I believe. Went to many a game there as a kid and as a student. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
