  1. I don't fully agree it was GOP humilation that got Mike Johnson the speakership, after like 30 rounds of voting they got tired of being the idiot party. Silent GOP obstructionism is the only thing we have for the next two years, barring one or two more retirements in the house. I think the lead after all the retirements and resignations (Gaetz lol) is just two representatives, just one flip and that is all she wrote.
  2. Joe Biden was a president obsessed with his legacy, obsessed with civility. My theory on why he was such a putz: historians traditionally graded Presidents on many metrics, one metric his ability to get things passed through congress or congressional relationships, points are deducted if his legislation does not pass. The absolute easiest part about populism is using defeat as an advantage, paint your enemy relentlessly as out of touch, as against the worker, that your guys are the only ones on his side, and then try again, and again and again, show that you are willing to fight. If Republicans block a minimum wage hike, try again next month, and again and again and again. Why don't they do this? because... Democrats are allergic to populism, even milquetoast Bernie Sanders style populism but that is the only path forward to fix things, we need more than 8 years and we are not even getting 4 years to fix the damn courts, they are filled to brim with ideologues leading to a corrupt potential eternal dictatorship. and Joe Biden is there twidling his thumbs going ahh shucks you guys Republicans are being meanies! I will always consider him a failure I don't care about his soft landing, I don't care about his build back better, I don't care about his CHIPS act, I don't even care about his victory in Ukraine, and lets not even dwell on his failures like the Israel palestine war. His only job should have been preventing THE RETURN and I sure as hell will never forgive him for this. And will always argue he is bottom 5, Trump is at the absolute bottom scoring 0.0.
  3. Add one more to the transfer pile from that class
  4. Ukraine will survive if we are isolationist, Putin's military has been ground to a pulp, he no longer has Soviet era tanks in stock much less modern ones, Not even Latvia is currently threatened. The ability of the Russian military to take territory is long over, my doomer brain though is more worried about, no AWACS intel from neighboring countries, lifting military sanctions on Russia or getting actively involved with Russia to help their war efforts. He already betrayed the Kurds. I can not believe that Ukraine got public support because they made tik tok videos about tractors pulling tanks and they lost that support because they did not entertain US citizens enough in 2023+, Russian propaganda could not defeat the 2022 memes so they created counter memes, I want off this fucking planet.
  5. Yeah, what part was it Biden wanting to be presidential and what part of it was it his advanced age, but he needed to hammer things, his student loan forgiveness was crushed by the courts, A) it should have been a more universal loan forgiveness, B) keep fucking hammering the point go on all cameras angry about how the government is against the people that only he was on their side. Getting cockblocked by the courts and congress can STILL be a win if you message accordingly if you go populist. You also have the luxury of trying again and again just in different ways maybe it is no longer loan forgiveness but tax credits 100% proportional to the loan amount. Keep this in the news! That said it should have been doubling the minimum wage, try universal loan forgiveness but the former is far more popular and republicans would have always opposed it but he could have done double it on march and rebuffed, 2.1x on April and rebuffed, 2.2x on May and rebuffed, 2.3x on Jun then maybe Republicans learn they are getting murdered in the polls and pass this. As to why did he not do this? because one of the legacy metrics by presidential historians is "getting along with congress/passing shit" that was his north star, his historical legacy. Getting rebuffed by congress on populist stuff was against his goals, and now we all are going to pay for it.
  6. I want the tariffs to go through, his universal tariffs such a clownshow that it will ONLY raise prices and fuel inflation, the laughable idea that clothes manufacturing will return to the US is so god damn ridiculous, even if by some miracle it does happen it will be shit low wage paying jobs or robots doing it.
  7. I don't think so, not all the way, he could have endorsed the clown early and often instead he half assed an endorsement at the 11th hour, he could have not corrected Trump 4 times about Harris ducking his interview. The problem is he was a coward that refused to do what is right, instead cowtowed to his audience and the usual naive idea that you can influence Donald Trump in a quid pro quo, you can't. I have come to the conclusion that there was absolutely nothing that could have been done in 2024 or even 2023 to prevent the Trump disaster, the endorsements were meaningless, the debates were meaningless (How many times did I say this? Kamala won hers by 66%... meaningless), the donations were meaningless, our fate was sealed in 2022 at the latest with the obsession to fall into the inflation Willy E Coyote trap.
  8. The absolute worst part is that I don't see us moving away from it, there was too much god damn push back towards populism immediately after the election, I like Bernie but he needs to push harder and harder, the corpocrats are still in control. Raising minimum wage was a hallmark of middle class growth that the Biden administration did not hammer that again and again and again and again is downright criminal. This has the added advantage that Republicans are allergic to it so they won't copy a dramatic increase in the minimum wage. This is the universal truth about the US economy, the rich will be rich and everyone else will provide them with a service, manufacturing is gone finito fin, Chips act is fine but everything else is just a waste of time, make sure those service jobs pay well and you will have a happy population, let these service jobs enter into poverty and you have the hallmarks for desperate upheaval.
  9. Biden is a great legacy president, the problem is we did not need a legacy president, that period is long over, we need someone who recognizes a neo nazi threat, we needed an FDR or hell even a Churchill, instead we got a Pierce or Buchanon.
  10. They had their reverse jan 6 over there when their Trump like president declared martial law and banned the legislature from meeting, they had the power to reverse martial law and had to be helped to climb walls and enter the national assembly, which they did and reversed his power grab. It certainly is a blue print to follow, we are now in the "prevent dictatorship at any cost" phase, this includes being ready at a second's notice to protest everywhere all at once when it inevitably happens, will we or are we too hauty to camp out in the freezing cold?
  11. Watch Trump do handouts in 2028 and run for a third unconstitutional term, if by some miracle the SCOTUS elminates the ammendent and Barak runs and wins, watch him doom us by doing austerity to clean up the Trump mess, never again, ever do what your dishonest opponent wants, even it is the right thing to do, instead do the right thing that is adjacent to what they want.
  12. It is ENRAGING, Biden was a a double agent for Trump, I will never let this assertion die, he was a legacy/civilty obssessed moron that doomed us, he is along with Buchanon, Johnson, and Pierce as the absulete worst presidents in US history because he put his head in the sand. Yes I know Trump is #1 worst but it is not the issue the issue is that people bled for Joe Biden and he fucking betrayed us for his god damn legacy.
  13. Its a lie a filthy fucking lie, he is a guilt ridden mf that wants to use any excuse to say whatever the fuck to sleep better at night. At the end of the day we can't overthink shit ever again, Waltz was the most popular of the 4 he was a great pick the fundamentals were sound the failure came in limiting his rural populism, instead to asking him to be a "male role model" I really can't overstate how fucked we are that we allow the progressive media to try to define masculinity.
  14. Ultimately there is no choice, kissing the ring was the right thing to do if you were behind, fucking unbelievable to me that they projected so much confidence knowing the real numbers. Look I make hold no illusions, and I thought it was best to stay away, but that was when I was blind to the internal survey disaster. you stay away if you are ahead not if you are behind. Democrats have 0 inroads to the meathead population, not after supporting giga disasters like being on the idelogical side of Amber Heard (something like 95% of the population though she was guilty but the media still covered for her).
  15. Where are the Trump is a puppet of Musk political cartoons? we need a lot of them
  16. The people that cry hardest for free speech are actually arguing the opposite Rule of life #14
  17. DeSantis is better than a potential neo nazi for SecDef because he is eyeing Trumps job, we need the most amount of buffering between Project 2025 people and the military.
  18. That is why I am happy playing them every year we get 3 days a year when they lose to satan and are all jumping off a bridge. Then three nights later are getting on the roller coaster again.
  19. Yeah them censoring aggy turned plausible deniability brilliant in destroying any URL linking to shaggybevo. Wonder if surly is also censored or something.
  20. Economics is not a real science, it is all a fucking lie, yes I do believe that Kamala's entrepreneurial economy is not a disaster maybe even the adult thing to promise but it is fucking allergic, the common worker wants better salaries, that was it, they did not care that eggs are now at $4 a dozen, they wanted to earn $20 an hour to offset it with 15 minutes of work. Democrats keep going to the austerity well and it fucking kills me. If we are all going down lets at least be the ones in power not the ones sniffing our own farts with a superiority complex. I always knew that being the goldman and sachs candidate was poison, but I always believed the revulsion of DJT was enough to delay the thumping, nope... dead wrong, people really are that stupid that they hate the man but still think he is going to lift them out of poverty they just pinched their nose, this is reason #1, #2, and #3 we lost.
  21. Needles are kinda thin.
  22. Exactly it is not as easy as just lying, we need to cut out the MSM though they are 120% in the corpocrat side, their tent is to keep the corporation happy so no more CNN, MSNBC, et all treat them as elites out of touch.
  23. Inflation was the absolute most disgusting trap and we fell for it hook line and sinker, it is like they set up this Willy E Coyote painted train tunnel and we ran head first into it. The fundamentals is that REAL salaries are dropping, if these rise it does not matter what inflation really is you still get a decade or two of fucking peace. Instead we ran head first into austerity and then we wonder why Biden was not popular. He could have been 110 and still won if he did not value his legacy above doing what should have been his #1 job, keep the traitor out.
