  1. SpideyAg was The People's Elbow nearly 100% certain of it, dude was extremely smart and I think he quit the internet (or passed away) because I would detect him under any handle in any forum on any day.
  2. Lets meet in the middle, have Jimbo say it was not NIL under oath and I will agree with you guys that they did not even bother to organize even an authograph session. That it was illegal bagmen boosters. Remember this autograph session could have happened 8 months later... during their losing season. Until he says that under oath I would just call him a weasel half liar and not really put much stock in his assertions. If this discussion is finally put to end by calling it "pay to win wire transfers with a veneer of plausible deniability because of autograph signings making it legal" then I swear I would do it, I grow really tired of this discussion. For the record I do think UT leads the nation in corporate NIL by a country mile. 0% of aggie NIL is clean NIL there is no Fansville comercials there is no nothing, it is all 100% pay to play.
  3. It was ugly NIL it was pay for play NIL but it is what it is nowadays, they got money wired to them, bagmen of yore could only transfer a car a mcdonalds bag of cash, this created a limit on the transactions and mid 5 figures were enough to get a player signed, few schools could offer more for that same reason. On June 2021 A&M could come to recruits and tell them we will WIRE you 6-7 figures a YEAR, if you sign with us, all you have to do is sign autographs. This is the only reason for their 2022 class they were early movers. (also I don't want to debate exact numbers gotcha if they are an order of magnitude wrong I don't give a shit) Was it clean? no, was it pay to play? yes, was it legal? according to state law yes because nobody could prove it was pay to play there was no smoking gun to be found because it was SO EASY to half ass an autograph session, why are people so obsessed about semantics? I have no idea. UT was months late on its NIL One Texas Fund was November, Pancake factory was December, are people really going to argue that A&M's disorganized booster led NIL was not really NIL? A) This is a waste of time argument B) nobody absolutely nobody not the NCAA not the courts not even Saban said it was illegal. TL;DR Texas A&M offered pay for play around June 2021, they could get away with it by just asking for signed autographs, this is still NIL, pay to play NIL but still NIL because that is what the Texas lege law lazyly allowed.
  4. All corner routes are anticipatory of the break and pinpoint otherwise its a waste.
  5. Exactly we need to tell people to stock up on food, save PTO, save money, a general strike must also be in the cards but only for 2028 people will be angry at us if we do this way too early, it is a last stop gap to prevent the unconstitutional third term attempt or the full power grab.
  6. During the offseason I called him their Garret Gilbert, Imagine if Colt had an extra year and Mack had decided to let him go lol.
  7. Again dude, I asked specifically why the 2023 class was a bust (the signing not on the field production) that was the discussion that was had earlier in the week. That I got a god damn copypasta made my week though. That said I also did answer the question that I am being incorrectly called out in this thread, in December 16 2022 I went on record they were going to get a flood of transfers from that 2022 class. I made the correct prediction, and posted a link to it. As for the updated list I found it on reddit
  8. Only time I have ever participated in one of these got DAMNNN!
  9. I do admit it is not productive behavior, but at the end of the day we are all motivated by irrational things. I absolutely don't mind in the slightest if people dunk on me because I legitimately made a mistake, hell I fucking welcome it. But this... this is not that.
  10. There was only one failure that mattered dude, https://www.c-span.org/presidentsurvey2021/?page=overall President 2021 Final Score Overall Rankings 2021 2017 2009 2000 Abraham Lincoln 897 1 1 1 1 George Washington 851 2 2 2 3 Franklin D. Roosevelt 841 3 3 3 2 Every Other president but Biden because he is not graded yet Bottom 4: Donald J. Trump 312 41 NA NA NA Franklin Pierce 312 42 41 40 39 Andrew Johnson 230 43 42 41 40 James Buchanan 227 44 43 42 41 What is the underlying trend between Absolute top vs Absolute bottom? You guessed it the US Civil War, The civil war appeasers all belong to same dustbin of history along with Neville Chamberlain, If I am an individual of the left persuasion that is secularly praying for a Winston Churchill (of course FDR first), then you know how little I care about any other issue than the existential threat of absolute evil.
  11. I kinda mentioned it on another post about worrying about AWACS help to actively helping Russia, but for sure yeah, but that is not isolationist that is active participation and joining the 21st century Axis powers.
  12. Lol you know what I mean, I will never understand why do people get so out of whack angry (not you RomaVicta) that they drop everything they are doing just because they THINK they can dunk on me like literally skimming posts to do the AHA! instead of internalizing what is being said and reasoning an understanding I clearly said 2023 I did not make it a trap or an illusion that I was referring to 2022 yet I got a glorious glorious copy pasta and people still trying to dunk on me days later. Here I am scratching my head, if I can get legitimately intelligent people to drop everything to try to prove 2+2=5 because they thought I said 2+2=3 (and again I never did or even came close to implying it) then what does it make me? Then you wonder why my ego is so inflated sometimes wish I was a narcissist so I would only enjoy it, I do a bit but also worry about society the macro level.
  13. I predicted mass transfers in December 2022 (actually when they signed but did not put it in writing), I can not believe I have to say this and it kinda flabbergasted that you are like this over something so simple but 2023 is not 2022, I repeat again 2023 is not 2022, it is a year later. I was talking about the class AFTER their greatest class ever the class that had only had Ant Hill commited after the pool party, around June 2022 this class was barren, it was a disaster not only in commits but in interest they were trending to hell, after Ant Hill decomitted it was outside the top 25, nobody gave a correct answer as for why and I did, they were no longer first movers in NIL, if you want to claim it was pay for play NIL then fine I don't care, of course Aggie NIL is Boosters masquerading as people that want influencers. But it is still the answer Texas A&M around June 2021 started offering players enormous amounts of money that could be wired into their accounts (remember the slogan bagmen can't beat bankrolls this is exactly why, again do people not understand what is being said?) by June 2022 everyone caught up, their losing season started in August 2022, and the rest is a complete disaster class, it made it to top 19 because the Louisville coach gat canned. I get it that people get angry when I am right, that is why I have an enormous cotails of haters, but if you just bothered to read my posts and understand them at least you would not five me the satisfaction of doing a victory lap, come on dude drop the anger and stop giving me stuff like this. Think.
  14. Maybe, I never thought his speech impediments were a problem, he was god damn president he could stutter like crazy and still be respected, the problem was more about the energy or the desire to be a bully pulpit president, I already mentioned time and time again what could have been done keep the popular stuff in the news every day bend the republicans to his will. That was not his style he did not want to humiliate anyone, end result was defeat. I am tired boss, I can't hear him speak anymore because the softness enrages me.
  15. If the stove was too fucking hot then we did not need a president explain to us how we needed to come together... that it was the greatest country... that blah blah blah. He need to turn the damn thing off
  16. Look man I am an "actions and results" over "contents of their hearts" kinda dude, if you want to argue that Biden was a kind soul and jesus like human being then it is not my place, I will not even disagree. But I judge Biden on the results and there was only one result I cared about, one existential threat, maybe Trump turns senile tomorrow maybe all the fears are put to rest, but that is it Biden's entire legacy hinges on the end results of a Trump presidency, how quaint that his legacy is not even his own. My sister is a Biden cultist but I told her then what I am telling you now, anyone in the democratic debate could have beaten Donald Trump during COVID+Race protests+record unemployment+stock market short circuits, but the real test was if they could prevent him from returning, I worried Biden was too soft and I ended up being right despite me doing everything in my power to be proven wrong.
  17. But the closer one looks, the more complicated the image appears: The 220-member majority includes Florida’s Matt Gaetz, who recently resigned weeks after winning his re-election bid. It also includes Republican Reps. Elise Stefanik of New York and Michael Waltz of Florida, both of whom are poised to give up their seats to join the Trump administration. Yes, there will be special elections to fill those vacancies, and Republicans like their chances of keeping those seats. But as a practical matter, in the first few months of the next Congress, the balance of power will be 217 to 215. As a matter of arithmetic, on key votes in which Democrats are united in opposition, that means the House GOP conference will have to be completely united to succeed. If even one Republican member balks, it will be enough to derail the party’s legislative endeavors. (A 216-216 vote constitutes failure. Bills need a majority to advance.) https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/vanishingly-small-house-republican-majority-comes-focus-rcna182420
  18. I don't fully agree it was GOP humilation that got Mike Johnson the speakership, after like 30 rounds of voting they got tired of being the idiot party. Silent GOP obstructionism is the only thing we have for the next two years, barring one or two more retirements in the house. I think the lead after all the retirements and resignations (Gaetz lol) is just two representatives, just one flip and that is all she wrote.
  19. Joe Biden was a president obsessed with his legacy, obsessed with civility. My theory on why he was such a putz: historians traditionally graded Presidents on many metrics, one metric his ability to get things passed through congress or congressional relationships, points are deducted if his legislation does not pass. The absolute easiest part about populism is using defeat as an advantage, paint your enemy relentlessly as out of touch, as against the worker, that your guys are the only ones on his side, and then try again, and again and again, show that you are willing to fight. If Republicans block a minimum wage hike, try again next month, and again and again and again. Why don't they do this? because... Democrats are allergic to populism, even milquetoast Bernie Sanders style populism but that is the only path forward to fix things, we need more than 8 years and we are not even getting 4 years to fix the damn courts, they are filled to brim with ideologues leading to a corrupt potential eternal dictatorship. and Joe Biden is there twidling his thumbs going ahh shucks you guys Republicans are being meanies! I will always consider him a failure I don't care about his soft landing, I don't care about his build back better, I don't care about his CHIPS act, I don't even care about his victory in Ukraine, and lets not even dwell on his failures like the Israel palestine war. His only job should have been preventing THE RETURN and I sure as hell will never forgive him for this. And will always argue he is bottom 5, Trump is at the absolute bottom scoring 0.0.
  20. Ukraine will survive if we are isolationist, Putin's military has been ground to a pulp, he no longer has Soviet era tanks in stock much less modern ones, Not even Latvia is currently threatened. The ability of the Russian military to take territory is long over, my doomer brain though is more worried about, no AWACS intel from neighboring countries, lifting military sanctions on Russia or getting actively involved with Russia to help their war efforts. He already betrayed the Kurds. I can not believe that Ukraine got public support because they made tik tok videos about tractors pulling tanks and they lost that support because they did not entertain US citizens enough in 2023+, Russian propaganda could not defeat the 2022 memes so they created counter memes, I want off this fucking planet.
  21. Yeah, what part was it Biden wanting to be presidential and what part of it was it his advanced age, but he needed to hammer things, his student loan forgiveness was crushed by the courts, A) it should have been a more universal loan forgiveness, B) keep fucking hammering the point go on all cameras angry about how the government is against the people that only he was on their side. Getting cockblocked by the courts and congress can STILL be a win if you message accordingly if you go populist. You also have the luxury of trying again and again just in different ways maybe it is no longer loan forgiveness but tax credits 100% proportional to the loan amount. Keep this in the news! That said it should have been doubling the minimum wage, try universal loan forgiveness but the former is far more popular and republicans would have always opposed it but he could have done double it on march and rebuffed, 2.1x on April and rebuffed, 2.2x on May and rebuffed, 2.3x on Jun then maybe Republicans learn they are getting murdered in the polls and pass this. As to why did he not do this? because one of the legacy metrics by presidential historians is "getting along with congress/passing shit" that was his north star, his historical legacy. Getting rebuffed by congress on populist stuff was against his goals, and now we all are going to pay for it.
