  1. Bumping this thread. We are 4 days away from Florida and I'm staring down a 40k hole. (56k total cost, ticket sales recoup on the rest you do the math) This isn't unusual for away tailgates. Michigan sold 75% of the inventory in the final 3 days, but I'm feeling completely exposed - a lot like I'm in this by myself and really like I just don't wanna do any of this anymore. I read my first post in this thread and I'm literally just living that nightmare back in 2025. I've had some really great help (financial) from some people that have really helped cover and make me want to commit to the home tailgates not even as investment just as wanting it to happen. What I need now is someone to help me share the mental load of these massive capital outlays and exposure that all end up coming together quickly. There's no lack of demand for a really great party at away games, marketing is our main problem now, but also just the way people buy for these things is similar to tickets - 50% of people going to the away games dont get tickets until they arrive or feel like secondary is bottomed out. We are listed on stubhub, tailgreeter and have our own social following. This is all amplified by the burnt ends starting this week and another big outflow for first payment there. 70k weeks are hard to shoulder by yourself especially with the exposure I have. If you are interested in helping out with Florida on short notice I'm happy to cut you in on the profits, but also share in the losses if there are any (I don't think there will be). If you know anyone who wants to sponsor an event like this please let me know ASAP.
  2. Clear your cache and it fixes it. Try switching themes and switching back after a few refreshes
  3. He said at the dinner he goes easy blocking in practice because they are his "teammates" and "he doesn't wanna hurt his teammates" lol
  4. Resurrecting this thread. Holy fuck.
  5. What could possibly be driving up premiums that much?
  6. When is the american consumer going to throw shit in the fan.
  7. Where do we post up to give out the wristbands and do early check in?
  8. Easy way to solve the k shape - quit letting equities be treated like cash equivalents or even non-volatile assets. Banks and other portfolios that collateralize this stuff are what are making a lot of this possible. Margin trading, derivatives, net asset value loans, stock account loans. All that's horseshit. If you wanna invest the only cash you get out is selling or a dividend. You know, like real investing. The issue right now is one of our own making, because the entire economic engine runs on the foundation of a massive debt cycle that is never going to end because if it does it'll ruin the top. This is why the circular economy is so important to monitor.
  9. This Saturday is the most important game since... *checks notes* the CFP game against Ohio State. That's how everyone should feel if they lose Saturday.
  10. God damnit I cannot believe Tom Herman sat this guy for a year. What a fucking idiot.
  11. Ok I'll add today.

  17. No mention of the failed Bill Bellichick Experiment? UNC very well could fire him.
  18. I mean it was a game winner. It was 2nd down actually but yeah. Drop by freshman Talyn Taylor.
  19. To be fair that 3rd down drop on a perfect pass will haunt that georgia receiver for the rest of his life.
  20. Alabama and Georgia both looked like really good teams. That was an elite level game worthy of the hype. Penn State Oregon was also pretty good across the board. LSU Ole Miss was another elite level game. If you think any of these teams are bad or looked pedestrian you don't really know what's going on in college football in general. Georgia tech wake forest? That was some pedestrian shit. Still a fun game, but those teams both get blown the fuck out by any of the 6 teams I just mentioned. Auburn TAMU? Both of those teams looked so fucking ass. Some of you really just can't assess what's going on or what the difference in levels of competition is?
  21. Most teams I watched today are better than Texas has been playing. They gotta get their shit together for Florida or it's gonna be bad.
