  1. Anyone wanna get families together with kids have them play and watch the game? I can host at my place out in the hill country or happy to make a plan and go somewhere else. Have all the things to make it happen somewhere even if it's like an HOA park or something. TVs, batteries to run em speakers, starlink for streaming. I do not want to watch at home with just me and my two boys.
  2. New center is going to change things massively.
  3. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/google/youtube-is-down-worldwide-with-playback-error/ Was definitely down.
  4. They will either freefall collapse by gameday or they will go up from here as people get excited about the team again. $300 each is not a bad deal. So some musts on your trip: Tex-Mex (Matt's El Rancho, Maudies, Polvos all near downtown) Texas BBQ (Surly Tailgate or LA BBQ/Franklins if you order now online) Check out "Dirty 6th" (under 21 allowed on streets go from 7-9PM) See some live music (https://www.acllive.com/event/2025-11-21-the-damn-torpedoes-a-tribute-to-tom-petty-and-the-heartbreakers-at-8-pm or keep an eye on the Moody Amphitheater calendar. https://www.moodyamphitheater.com/) Check out Zilker Park/Town Lake/Auditorium Shores (rent a bike and go around the hike and bike) ------------------ Everything else is pretty optional and choose your own adventure but I would plan my itinerary around those core things. As for getting to campus and out, if you don't buy parking the best option is to uber to the north side of the stadium off Dean Keaton and Robert Dedman (snarfs sandwiches) and walk right into the tailgate area, longhorn city limits and bevo blvd where the players and bevo walk into the stadium. Its walkable to the southside of the stadium but its a shitshow and there's nothing really going on over there except sholtz beer garden which is a bar style tailgate with about a 12 minute walk to the stadium after. You will want to go inside the stadium probably an hour before kick to check it all out and get to your seats with time to get comfortable and settled in. Going in your assigned gate is optional, it doesn't save much time. After the game it is good to stay through "The Eyes of Texas" especially if you aren't driving, then it clears out and you can walk out the north side for more beers at tailgate or walk out the south side to get easy access to downtown - probably best to walk the 15-20 minutes back because uber and traffic are nuts and it's optimized for foot-traffic to the garages downtown. (Pedicab could be clutch here too) You want more specific recommendations or like a more degenerate experience let me know.
  5. Well that and the 50lbs
  6. At least you didn't have to pay for the table of 30 up front.
  7. Wow. This is a first, can't wait for the read out. This has to be costing tens of millions a minute.
  8. No its not. If y'all wanna set up a bar takeover lmk.
  9. If you are going to Lexington Bobby Burton is hosting a HH from 4-7 at Blue Stallion. https://www.bluestallionbrewing.com/ https://share.google/KT5XrQ4UA61KjVtrY
  10. My entire argument is this is a national championship caliber team and was met with we can't even play Florida. It's not hopeless. This team is scary as fuck when they are on.
  11. I think with wisner kinda showing out and growing in the role you are spot on. I think they responded when he was on the field.
  12. 29-21 you guys are on fucking crack.
  13. Most everyone who went has told me this exact thing.
  14. I said they didn't dominate. They definitely were the more physical team on the day. They were juiced.
  15. It was a physical game and Florida has great lines, I dont think Texas got dominated live or on the rewatch and no one has said as much from any pundits. They all agree the OL sucked. It did. The DL sucked especially the IDL, but to eat that this team is going to struggle against Georgia or TAMU is just nonsense. They just had a dominant performance where there were plenty of pancakes this week.
  16. I rewatched it very closely. They missed big assignments and the majority of the time the pressures were coming from completely untouched defenders. They didn't get in because they were so fucking fast they couldn't touch them and they didn't shed them. It was completely protection scheme related. Engaged lineman were not getting physically handled or dominated This team played with Ohio State the best team in the country right now and wasn't mismatched. Just because you want to talk shit doesn't mean you have fucking eyes or know what the fuck you are talking about.
  17. No they didn't. Watch the fucking tape.
  18. Its different if you self serve they always allow that.
  19. They didn't get physically dominated you need to get your fucking eyes checked.
  20. I think the weather scared a shit ton of people off from coming out early because they saw rain and didn't realize it was drizzle. and once you don't come out before 10ish then $130 doesn't seem like a good deal which is why $60 all you can drink i think would have crushed.
  21. I mean we did a Gainesville vibe that's literally what we did. I think people just didn't know about it tbh.
  22. A team of 5 is more than enough.
  23. Our tailgates facilitate literally all of that. We are in the heart of everything. It's fucking stupid to not grab a few beers hang with horns and then go for a walk within 5 minutes of where you can get more beers and grab food when you want it and take a sit down break. Sorry I'm not going to let you tell me eating at a shitty restaurant packed out on gameday next to the stadium with a limited shit menu and waiting 20 minutes for drinks and then aimlessly wandering around isn't better than the experience I put together for people. It just isn't.
  24. I think this is a national championship caliber team and we saw them really put together one of the better halves of football in a long time Saturday. This group seems like when it clicks its gonna be a lot of fun and if seems like that's happening now. Wisner is gaining confidence and seeing more of the field. Arch is really growing. The OL looked a whole lot better and wasn't bad, still a much higher ceiling. TE room looks awesome and is both blocking and producing fine. The IDL is still the only real weakness. I want to see them shut Kentucky out at home and score at least 3 touchdowns. That would make papa very happy.
