  1. It was definitely covid. It changed everything for nearly everyone and the new normal is the problem. Covid in america exposed a lot of bullshit and the level of grift and reward system for pure grift has been elevated to be not only acceptable, but mandatory for success. Its all bullshit all the time with a complete breakdown in trust everywhere. Part of what you are talking about is in large part due to covid. This is a uniquely american problem. If you travel much to other countries it's significantly less fucked up.
  2. Covid broke everyone's brain.
  3. No one has inquired at all.
  4. I didn't know who this big guy was in the SEZ so I zoomed in and took a pic. Very large human.
  5. Yeah, it would be integrated into the setup. That's the point. I don't wanna have go do anything off the trailer and it should fit in a standard parking spot.
  6. Oh wtf. God damnit I didn't put the link in my original post haha. https://slingnsteelcustomsmokers.com/product/ultimate-smokehouse-60-with-sink-and-roof-package/
  7. Yeah this thing can do 30 at a time, then warming racks for hold, then do butts, ribs and chicken. Griddle for sides and maybe introducing higher end things like seared to order roast steaks cut right from the roast. Burgers get a lot easier on the griddle and homemade tortillas become a very real possibility.
  8. Wok/boiler will be great for doing big batches of carnitas or boiling stuff like potatoes and noodles for the sides. Fryers don't do much for me on sides as most people don't want stuff out of a fryer after about 10 minutes post fry.
  9. We need to feed up to 2000 with this set up. Usually gonna be 750-1000 but can get much larger.
  10. I am thinking about customizing this a little bit and getting a wok/boil pot on it and maybe dropping the fryers. We could use this to travel to away games and control our food costs a lot better. I estimate this will be 20-25k, but we typically are paying more than that for catering each event. Food and fuel etc cost would be significantly cheaper if we brought if ourselves probably down to the 8-10k level which saves us 10-15k per game.

  20. I didn't say i had to get them at a dealership I said no one had them - they are actually not a high volume tire and people dont generally just stock them on hand. Discount didn't have them till Tuesday and no other independents did either. They had the soonest availability and they matched the discount tire price.
