  1. Is profiting off a crime a separate crime (writing a book, posting a video, making a movie, bragging about it in PAC solicitations)? It would be interesting to see if they are investigating Jan 6 stuff and people have testified that Nauta was present during meetings and could be called as a witness in that trial.
  2. Duh, we've known this for a long time and it was written up extensively after the 1999 bonfire collapse. https://www.texasmonthly.com/the-culture/the-aggie-bonfire-tragedy/ Or in the bonfire commission report https://csel.eng.ohio-state.edu/productions/pexis/readings/submod3/TAMUbonfire.pdf
  3. How has Greg Abbott made Texas Exceptional? 50th /last in uninsured citizens (Beating Oklahoma by 5%!) 37th in Education (Kentucky is ranked higher) 27th highest Gun death rate (Illinois is 26th highest) and by total numbers we're #1 (4613) 4th in Corporate Subsidies 11th in premature births 9th in Teen birth rate 21st in Homicides
  4. Simple, follow the money. Oh, ^ there it is. I don't know the percentage anymore but at one time a HUGE number of state legislators were insurance salesmen.
  5. Here are some graphs to show the GOP problem with demographics. First the party affiliation by cohort from April 2023 https://www.statista.com/statistics/319068/party-identification-in-the-united-states-by-generation/ Next is the number of people voting age by cohort from Pew in 2018 so realize it is worse now for the Boomers and Silent. It's been 5 years since then and the youngest silent generation is 95 and most of them are about as functional as Diane Feinstein. The youngest Boomers are now 59 and the oldest are 77. Their curve is getting ready to start matching the Silent's as the Gen Z picks up steam. (Yes, I edited the chart to reflect 2023 data. *The source I used for current data says there are 65M Gen X) https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2018/04/03/millennials-approach-baby-boomers-as-largest-generation-in-u-s-electorate/ The net effect is that the most MAGA generations (+3 to +4%) are getting replaced with the most Dem generations (+6 to +14%) But even then it's all about turnout because as we learned in the mid-terms, turnout matters. I'd argue that Republicans in 2022 were buoyed by Trump not being on the ballot. https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2023/07/12/republican-gains-in-2022-midterms-driven-mostly-by-turnout-advantage/
  6. I thought the Jews controlled Hollywood /Cartman
  7. It’s actually a matter of National Security. This wouldn’t be to pass a pet program or divert taxes to private businesses. This is a Constitutional duty of the Senate and not doing it impacts military readiness and national security.
  8. Ehhh, I was a contractor supplying gear and training on those platforms. We moved the stuff we were doing onto the new platforms. Yes, P8s are capable. I think they are in theatre because the Drones we were using were harassed by the Russians notably crashing one of them. The stakes are raised with a manned aircraft. But remember that China bumped one of our P3s which led to the crew doing an emergency landing in China. That was a huge break in protocol.
  9. I've flown on a P3 before so I guess I'm old. Worked on the transition to the P8 and MQ-4C. Also been on 4 Aircraft Carriers that have been retired. lol
  10. The P8's primary mission is Anti-Submarine Warfare and to that end they have a lot of sonar and anti sub gear. They can also carry anti-ship weapons like Harpoons.
  11. What primer was it and what was the issue? I'm going to do my own paint if I ever get the rest of the car ready for it. Debeer high build primer and whatever filler they used. I’m pretty sure they should have used a standard primer as the base layer and then mabe the filler and high build
  12. I think I see the Bakhmut problem. They've been fighting over Jasper. Also College Station is getting redy to be the site of a nuclear melt down.
  13. So you don't have to click through. Warning you might need to bleach your eyes.
  14. Cut him a break, his campaign can't afford a rental. lol
  15. Yeah, it was "Them" not any of the following: Going down a conspiracy rabbit hole that caused Fox News to pay out 878 Million in the first of many defamation lawsuits about the conspiracy you foisted Now the lawsuits are coming for you Basically buying a "channel" to stream/broadcast the conspiracy lies for days at a time. Instead of just making smaller youtube bite sized packet of shit. How much does it cost to take over Newsmax per day? Putting up $5 million for anyone that could prove your shitty data was bogus (Narrator: It took a couple hours to prove) Funding Q Anon / Trump rallies where tens of people showed up all around the country Being so obnoxious no-one can stand you Flooding the market with your non-consumable product so that anyone that was in the market for it and could stomach your lies already has over twice as many of them as they need and they can't give them away.
  16. Exactly my take. They tried to nudge him into going state's witness but he refused so they indict him to provide more incentive. My guess is that was the same plan with Nuata but he clammed up. The new guy is on video moving the boxes and his testimony under oath is that he never saw anything. This is a slam dunk conviction. They want Carlos to sing because he had the first hand convo with Trump. Right now they have second hand info from Employee #4 that they were Trump's orders. If Carlos flips they have 1st hand.
  17. Brits complaining about our confusing government system are most likely referring to the Electoral College. they’re right you know - Morgan Freeman
