  1. I will admit that I harbored a lot of the “car lights”esque opinions when my only experience with ghost lights was a couple of sightings from the rest observation area on hwy 90 between Alpine & Marfa. I mean they’re kinda way out there from that vantage point. That all changed when those f’n things damn near probed our anuses that night on Stillwell Ranch. I still laugh every time I think of my friend Paul (The one who clicked off his safety) checking his watch closely when we got back to our bunkhouse because he thought maybe we had been sucked up into a spaceship and time had stopped while they did butt stuff to us.
  2. Oh, and when I asked Hallie about it she was sitting in that crappy plastic chair to the far left in this pic (half cut off). You know, for context…
  3. For context, I just stumbled across this pic of the Jeep we were in. Different trip out there, but roughly the same era. Also for context, that’s Lat22 in the white tshirt…
  4. Great grandson. I’m not that old bro.
  5. That dude needs to fix his plumber’s butt and stop painting his nails.
  6. By the way, there was no sound through that entire experience. Well, except for my friends screaming “Start the Jeep!” like 4 year old girls in a Freddie Krueger flick.
  7. At the request of HC, I’ll post this up from a PM conversation we had after he asked about any experiences I had with ghost lights in Brewster County…
  8. This. On my first post I was thinking career, not single season. That landscape has changed so much that I don’t think there’s any fair comparison to be made between pre and post NIL pitchers.
  9. Boy, talk about a shoehorn. Pun intended.
  10. Big distinction there.
  11. Yeah, he is and I'm not trying to bust him down in anyway. He's fantastic and I wish Texas had him. But he's not the best. I'll just leave it at that.
  12. He's not even close.
  13. Funny, I didn't see anyone predict a 20 plus run win by Florida before the game. But, okay. I do like the side-step of the hyperbole you used to describe all of LSU's pitching staff after the two starters though. Well done.
  14. That's interesting because I saw them shut Texas out with a couple of guys out of their bullpen pitching half the game and only giving up one hit. But, okay.
  15. You're f'n LS&U though. I mean even the scrubs should be able to keep a game under 15 runs. I guess the drop-off from the mercenaries to the pine sitters is pretty fuckin' steep.
  16. I can’t wrap my head around that score. Dayum. Takes smooth ass buttfucking to a new dimension.
  17. I was actually trying to jinx you. Nothing personal, but the clue is in my username.
  18. #KennyLoggins
  19. Congratulations Gata on your Championship. Well done!
  20. Da fuq wit those teef?
  21. But, you see, he wasn’t open. So, yeah, he really needed to go.
  22. Daly needed to go, regardless of how it happened. I don’t wish him ill will, but still take this as a s step in the right direction. He had no upside. None. Zip.
  23. My very wealthy dentist couldn’t agree more.
  24. It’s not a flex it’s just a way of saying you’re either serving good Q or you’re not. The “flex” is what I was responding to. No need for it. None at all. ‘If you’ve got webbed toes and are serving up badass brisket, your pedicure isn’t really of any consequence.
  25. Because that’s such a great reason to expect great bbq.
