  1. Yup. We're now level on GD with Shitty and one behind Liverpool. Very, very nice fringe benefit. IIRC we have something like the most xG in Europe or somewhere near the top five. Damn nice to see some of that getting converted. The West Ham & Villa losses, we had a massive xG advantage but couldn't convert. Also, I was very gruntled to see the lads pumped to keep the clean sheet. Fewest GA in the League so far. Just need to keep converting the xG.
  2. Worth. Every. Penny. £105m was a bargain. We may have fleeced West Ham.
  3. Just got home. So whaddid I miss? Anything good?

He also ended the series with the connect to The Greeks as well. 'Errbody was going to have to go through him to get their product. Slim always struck me as one of the most proficient players of The Game. Tough but equally smart. He had a code, played The Game with respect, and earned the respect of everyone else.
  5. Yep. Finally a car that isn't primarily black /no racist.
  6. Looks like we won't be seeing anything of this sort in the near future...
  7. Alfa Romeo's Kick Sauber's new livery, yeah, that's something. Not sure what, but it's something.
  8. Would Bono, unless Ferrari is going to pay him a stupid amount of money (and by stupid I mean "I can retire on this"), really want to leave Mercedes? Lewis is 40 and nearing the end of his career; he races maybe three or four more years tops? Then would he want to be stuck in the circus that is Ferrari without Lewis? I'm not so sure I would.
  9. Rumored to be the last, but at least we get one more ride with our boys.
  10. Post-match Arteta said Zinny told them he “felt something” in his calf, and that’s why he subbed him for Kiwior. Like you, I thought it was a proactive tactical switch, instead of waiting for an error to pull him. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.
  11. I’ll say it: I was nervous about this one, esp with Jesus out. What a performance outside of the final 30 seconds of the 1H. We scored all four. Should have scored at least two before the break. Withstood their push to start the second, Martinelli got a beautiful winner, then we saw out the remainder of the match before Trossard’s clincher. All around, a damn good performance and exactly what we needed. 100%. Cry, bitch. Carra when Liverpool win: “Look at Klopp’s passion! You have to love it!!!” Carra when Liverpool lose: “You must silently walk off the pitch so as to not hurt my feelings any further.” Rice and Jorg were outstanding today. Bossed midfield. Let’s go, you Gunners!!! Lets. Fucking. Go.
  12. Got lost in the Hamilton to Ferrari news, but the Japanese GP & Suzuka signed an extension to remain on the calendar until 2029. There are a few tracks that should be on calendar every year; Suzuka is one. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.formula-1-to-race-in-japan-until-2029-after-new-five-year-extension.7yAlDYf8uDZBUBZn5fBcLx.html
  13. F1: "Andretti hasn't proven they can field a competitive team." Haas team principal, before the season even starts: "We're going to be last."
  14. Really? He hasn't played since August! Dude is made out of glass. Not sure why I expected him to actually play matches for us this year.
  15. Not to mention James Allison, who was there from 2000 - 2005.
  16. Rumor is a high-ranking Merc engineer, who like Lewis disagreed with the direction the team took with the 22 & 23 car, recently moved to Maranello. https://racingnews365.com/key-factor-behind-hamiltons-mercedes-f1-exit-revealed?utm_source=x&utm_campaign=key-factor-behind-ha&utm_medium=social_organic&utm_content=12513405
  17. Yeah, this seems odd to say the least. Between "we are now going with Plan E. Plan E", "we are checking," and "question," Hamilton's head is going to explode. The only way this makes sense is if he's taking Bono and the Merc strategy team with him. Maybe he always wanted to driver for Ferrari at some point in his career. Otherwise... yeah, this seems like the boldest of bold strategies, Cotton.
  18. Nearly fucked that up but three points and onward. Arteta still needs to fix the lack of edge on the final 3rd.
