  1. Is it July 19 yet?
  2. Haven't watched much (any) Bundesliga, so A 6' 5" forward, has ball skils, and the dude is still only 20 so plenty of room for "Arteta to coach em up." Could be a very nice fit in the side. Oh, and there won't be the "England tax" or "current EPL player" tax. Sign em up, Edu.
  3. Both of which reminded me of this…
  4. Pulled pork & tater salet leftover from Memorial Day, toasted king’s rolls.
  5. "It's not Madden" is the best thing I could have possibly read about this game.
  6. I was impressed he was able to maintain eye contact with Daddario; I’d have found it impossible to go stare at her glorious tits.
  7. In, in IMAX. Like how the special effects seem to have the “look” of the original.
  8. Then again, I hated last year's away kit, in which we proceeded to have one our best away results ever. So TF do I know.
  9. Unlike U2, it appears you found what you were looking for. For a "more robust" cup, I would have suggested starting with a longer "brew time" (before plunging or pouring, then moving on to ratio (more coffee), and finally grind finer. I liken coffee to chili and barbecue: the endless pursuit of perfection. Each bag (and really every batch within that bag) will be slightly different as the beans are constantly evolving even after roast. That damn good cup, like a kickass bowl of red or that bite of brisket that makes you go weak at the knees), makes the struggle worth it.
  10. I stuttered quite severely as a child from birth. Years of speech therapy got it mostly under control, but it still reappears in some form almost every day. @YGIFS and @Hate, your wives and all SLPs are angels in disguise. Thank them from me and all those they have and will assist; their contributions matter to the kids and adults they treat matter far more than they will ever fathom. The darkness is real. Very real. I was blessed beyond measure to have the parents I have, but even then I had some very dark days as a teen. IMHO it helped me to grow up in the 1980s: the world stopped (and all the bullying that when along with it) at our doorstep, and I was able to mentally and emotionally regenerate (for lack of a better phrase) after school and at night. Technology has made it harder for kids today to leave the world outside.
  11. See, where he screwed up is not breaking the rules 115 times. That's apparently the magic number where the PL stops giving a shit.
  12. Like the thread title Derka Shadow Operative def not derka. Past two have been appropriate. This one, too We were five back in 23, two back last year. Another 3-point improvement gets us the 🏆 LFG, YOU GUNNERS. Lets. Fucking. Go.
  13. Yeah that's badass.
  14. We had a four-match blip between Christmas and the winter break, and it meant we had to close the season perfectly to have a real chance. Against a petrostate, you can’t do that. Closing 16-1-1 is damn good, but it wasn’t perfect. Pep hasn’t won league titles in Italy or France. In fact, he probably needs to leave now and go get those on his resume. Nobody’s the league until the bald fucker leaves.
  15. You mean you don’t miss ~ 5 min VAR challenges multiple times a match? Hope you guys make it back up.
  16. Welcome to the club, Leverkusen
  17. Imagine how good StarMan (he's no longer a boy... he's all grow'ds up now) would be if the refs called fouls against him they way they would any other key member of the England team instead of letting opponents kick the hell out of his legs every match.
  18. Question that will no doubt carbon date my ass: Da fuq is “Ultimate Team,” and can I ignore it and just play the dynasty mode? Haven’t played a FIFA since 08 or Madden since VY was on the cover (iirc 08)
  19. Ederson may be better at distribution, but Ortega’s a better shot-stopper IMHO; Ederson doesn’t stop Son’s shot on Tuesday.
  20. All of this. Anyone's first cook on a WSM (or any smoker, really) should definitely be a pork butt/shoulder. You'll get the hang of adjusting the vents, temp control, etc without the worry of "damn this brisket cost ~ $110; I don't want to mess it up." Pork shoulder is cheap, delicious, and damn near impossible to screw up due to all the intramuscular fat and connective tissue.
  21. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-ready-to-consider-different-engines-from-2030-in-push-for-more-noise/10611063/ Uh…..Yes, please. 0:55…
  22. Lulz. Hope he gets a few podiums and a win this year.
